You can use up more of the t-shirt and waste less fabric if you simply cut the sleeves off and use the arm holes as the handles, and sew the bottom of the shirt together for the bottom of the bag.

Super tutorial 👍🏻 but isn`t the idea behind such a bag (and the whole re- / upcycling method) to NOT use plastic, but THIS bag INSTEAD???
The slits are going the wrong direction. Cut the slits going up and down the bag not side to side
I think I’ll try this this time I’ll cut the slits kinda closer

I'll take either the free plastic ones from the store or one of the recycled cloth-like ones... ingenious use of a t-shirt though.
