@@h_survivalist3876 that’s the cool thing about fpv analog. I really need to get myself one of these fpv so then I can broadcast the videos onto my tv 📺 or other media... it is more fun if others can watch the live footage.
I can see future iterations of this with digital systems, two or three battery slots, better camera, and a size or two bigger. This may be what brings a lot more people into the hobby. People like simplicity. Sold in a bundle with maybe a DJI V2 goggles and a smallish transmitter it could be quite popular. Right now RTF custom built systems from places like Rotor Riot are getting more popular all the time. As always; thanks for another good review Captain Drone.
Being a Flashlight Collector. I always wondered if there would be any more Drones using these cells besides the Mavic Mini. Looks like it works very good. Hope to see more of them Thanks Captain
I bought one and had some crappy 18650’s, it dropped out of the sky from about 20’ onto soft grass and busted the front arm off, which surprised me little actually, was a pretty gentle fall. I ordered a new set of arms, 2 sets incase, lol, and bought some new batteries. Works really well! Not a freestyler like you said, but pretty good and fun relaxing flying.
"You'll know you've inserted the battery correctly when you don't see any smoke" LMAO Good morning Cap'n! Always great to start my week with another great review of another cool drone to make me want to spend my money. My wife just walked by and rolled her eyes when she saw me watching another of your videos - she says hi lol. Great job as always!
the cell you are using seems to have a pretty high capacity and thus more voltage sag. you might even get more flight time from a smaller capacity but lower internal resistance cell like the sony vtc6 because with the cell you are using it wont be able to suck all the batteries power out of it because of the vtx and other electronics shutdowns before 2.5v
If you have a drone with a 10 min or more flight time then crossfire is a good way to go, but for drones with less than 10 mins, you can't fly far before you have to turn around.
More than 50% of the pilots are using long range signal like crossfire not to do long range! But just to have more signal penetration in bandos and florests...with crossfire is hard to have a failsave. Xm+ is perfect for racing in a small track or freestyle but not to go farway.
That's quite interesting I do like that it runs off an 18650 such a common battery size and easy to replace. Really cool drone, I might grab one when I can get a chance. I did end up getting a dji mini 2 and I couldn't be happier I did not expect this drone to be as good as it is.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 yes it really is these fpv drones with the goggles are sweet too though. The only bad thing about this is I see my wallet getting smaller haha. Awesome review as always man take care.
Took my Hubsan for a flight the other day wow, what a fast flyer, and really smooth.Must admit got those arial add ons, they look like mini tv aerial’s, claim they boost the signal I don’t know if they do, but they look really cool. We should all be flying hover cars by now not driving along cracked roads
Another great review Sreve you are getting me more interested in FPV, can you recomend a basic controller, and glasses to match this drone for a no nonsense set up???
I can’t really recommend this drone for a beginner because the carbon fibre arms are thin and would not survive the crashes a beginner would cause. Perhaps a beginner FPV kit like the two I recently reviewed from BetaFPV and Eachine would suit you nicely.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 have a machine 010 which I added a TX01 to, it works ok but ... I cant tolerate the 4 minute flight times..... 15 minutes would be awesome.
Cool drone for sure. 💯👍🏻👍🏻 Be careful picking up cheap 18650 batteries. Some of them are nowhere near the capacity they claim. I decent 18650 will weight about 43-45 grams or so.

@@gd8630 Please read your question above, you make no mention that you are speaking about an F11 PRO. Questions for the F11 PRO should be posted under the F11 PRO video so as not to confuse viewers.
Yes. Almost every FPV drone comes without a transmitter. But with one transmitter you can fly a lot of different drones. So it is a one time investment
Of this AIO flight controller is rated 5A, then you wont really need a 18650 with more than 10A. I find the Babyhawk 2 HD with a 4S 18650 VTC6 pack to be a really nice long range and freestyle if you want. Better cam too. Not under 250g with 18650 pack though.

Sorry Cap. but I still have not gone over to the FPV side lol dwl but as always I appreciate your work always informative . I do enjoy seeing you fly them tho. 👍👍👍👍
If your going to send that long range you might want to use the rssi pad on the xm and solder it to the rssi pad on the fc and set it up as analog rssi in betaflight kuz I saw you have 0 rssi! You have crossfire and the weight is close to the same and just use the stock di pole antennas on the nano rx in the l orientation if you wanna send that thimg Also your vtx power was only pushing 200mw not 350 so fix that in the vtx table
That Efest 3500mah 10A/20A battery wasn't up to the job. Voltage was sagging too low and gave a pretty short flight. I recommend the 3000mah 20A/35A version for longer flight times. Or the Sony VTC6 3000mah 15A/30A as recommended by HGLRC.

Nice review. This is the first review of this guy I've seen where it didn't get broken. Good job!
