This came out in 2002 (had to go get my copy of the album to check). 22 years later, I still get chills and teary eyes when I listen to it.

Chris Cornell is my favorite artist of all time. If you want to see his most beautiful performance, you should watch his acoustic version of Call Me A Dog. The video is the one with just him in a white shirt with a guitar in front of an amphitheater. It’s my favorite performance of all time! You won’t be sorry!!

Great reaction! Though it's a bit different from this song, you gotta check out "Cochise", it was Audioslave's first big single and when paired with the music video they did for it - made it one of the most memorable first time listening experiences of my life. It was on what was then called Much Music before it became Fuse, (i believe, maybe MTV2), an my jaw was on the floor from the start of the music video all the way until it finished! It also is one of Chris' most impressive vocal performances! Plus, for some reason there are significantly fewer reactions to it when compared to their other big hits

@@RetroToMetroReactions Yeah it's significantly different from a lot of Audioslave's other stuff. Much more akin to something like Alice in Chains "Man in The Box", or maybe something from an 70's/80's era hard-rock/metal band- like Guns and Roses or something.

Hello! If you want to check something a lot heavier and creative and explore Chris' Range and power, try Slaves and Buldozzers by Soungarden

This soing came out in the 2001 or 2002, can't remember which year exactly. So maybe it was because of that.
The whole album is great. I'll leave here another nice tune from Audioslave, aonther slow one, that you may enjoy. It's a live version, so most probably isn't going to give you much trouble with copyright. Song's called I'm the Highway. The album version isn't acustic, but this one is acustic until half the way. of the song. There's an official video with this semi.acustic version, but that one has Chris with his voice a bit taken for whatever reason (it's more noticeable in other sons from that recording). This one sounds great. ua-cam.com/video/725iONdAu9Q/v-deo.htmlsi=mwQU8jNVt3FerYs_ (the video says at some point in the captions "Show me how to live", but that one is other song) His lyrics are beautiful.
And another one, and older, from his Soundgarden songs. Burden on My Hand. This is the official video ua-cam.com/video/XmIqIVxUuKs/v-deo.htmlsi=q5AGC808MJs5XGcw

Chris and Tom get all the publicity, but give it up to Tim and Brad. Bass and drums drove the hell out of this song. All 4 were at their best. Soundgarden.... Outshined, Outshined, Outshined, Outshined. You'll get to see young Chris Cornell.

❤Chris. Soundgarden is much heavier stuff than Audioslave. Both r great! This song has a great acoustic version I think at AOL. 😊

One of the most beautiful and painful pieces ever written.
