Great song choice and interesting reactions as always. This is the only react channel I find worthwhile. These folks truly have no cultural overlap with the Western music they’re exposed to and it results in true, visceral reactions. Love to see it. And RIP Chris Cornell
Agreed, its cool seeing people hear like your fav song for the first time but seeing such diverse interpret what they can from their beliefs and all that is really enlightening
As an Indian, I can say there are many English speaking folks in India who don't consume Western Music at all. Even if they do it's usually the very recent, popular ones that are famous all over the world. I introduced my wife to classic rock. This is one of her favorite songs. I introduced her to this song but now she made it her own. It was a fun journey for me.
@@nikhilreddy8550 your comment is not something I hear every day and it tells me that despite culture and distance, we humans are very much the same. Good for you to share this music with your wife. I loved how you described it as a journey. If you haven't already, you should listen to the collaboration he did with Pearl Jam called Temple of the Dog.
I love these reactors. Mr Bughio tries to approach these videos with a desire to broaden his world. Mr Rind uses his intuition to draw parallels with the material and his own experience to make connections. Mr Jutt approaches everything with no assumptions and often hits the nail on the head with his interpretations. I miss Parvati she is so innocent and I think more so than the other reactors benefits from being exposed to things from outside of her world. I hope she can come back. The highlight of this video for me is the way Mr Rind’s face lit up when he saw the toddler and talked about children. He’s clearly a man who has a big heart and loves children. Thank you guys for giving us in other parts of the world the opportunity to meet these wonderful people and share in their humility and humanity.
I love these people as well. They show us how good people can be. They are like family to me. God bless them and keep them well. Their simple wisdom is an example for us all to follow. Bless.
I can't keep up with the names cuz I'm kind of new here but I for sure would love to sit down with the guy who has the white beard and tells a lot of anecdotes. It wouldn't just be the culture I would want to learn about but the universal wisdom that I see him giving in every video practically. Haven't watched a lot and I've just begun this one but he's already giving wisdom and life lessons. That would be so cool. I love speaking with the older people because they have so much stories and wisdom but I especially would love to sit with this man. He could tell me things that I literally have never heard in my life. It would be so cool. I wish he would do some sort of live chat between them, but translator and maybe a few people in aive chat streamyard. He would probably need to choose some people so they weren't just totally disrespectful because some people are jerks. So he would definitely need to probably choose anyone he knows in USA to do this exchange of ideas and I'd like to just sit and ask one of these guys or the lady but particularly the gentleman what they do the day before yesterday. I mean what did they do yesterday because I'm having problems with English myself. To me that would be so cool and enlightening. Just to sit down and have the men tell me about his day that he may think is just redundant but to me it would be extraordinary
I listen to Chris 24/7 but when I see other people reacting to him and can see they're moved by him, it makes me emotional. Truly one of, if not the greatest rock vocalist ever.
30 seconds into hearing the song: "he has a very unique style" 100% correct. Great song choice. I love your videos and the insight everyone has. Thank you.
Mr Rind is VERY astute! He picks up VERY subtle things most English speaking people would miss. On the Hurt video as well. This is a wise and humble man. When he says "he was sadder than Chester or Kurt, You can see it in his eyes". It hit hard. RIP CC
Well, if you don't understand the lyrics, you have no choice but to pay more attention to everything else. Most people's first listen to a song, they're trying to hear the words
Wow, as a fan of Chris Cornell, this is one of the most emotional and fascinating of your videos. I loved the wise insights that everyone in the reaction shared. Love and thanks to you all from Houston, Texas. :)
I adore seeing all of their reactions, but Mr. Bughio tends to be my favorite to watch. He's so visually expressive of how the music is touching his soul--it's such a beautiful thing to see.
This song (Audioslave, Soundgarden, Three Days Grace, Alice In Chains and Incubus, as well) kept me company after my husband died. “I long to be there”
Same here. I lost my wife in 2018. I promised her NOT to go with her and here I am. I wish you all of my blessings and hope that you may get somehow happy again.
I just read your comment and brought tears to my eyes. My husband would sing this song to me almost everyday before he passed. He passed away saving a 4 yr old stuck in a burning car 5 years ago. I imagine him in a big house singing this song to me waiting patiently for me to join him 😢. He saved my life when I met him I was in a bad way and he pulled me out.
This is an amazing concept for music reactions. I love their wisdom. They are almost always right on about the singer and the song they've just heard. The small lessons they speak of really makes this channel special.
First time I come across this channel, I'm glad I did. It blew my mind, how someone who's culture is so different from ours can still enjoy such beautiful music, no matter the race, age, religion, nothing. Chris Cornell, R.I.P brother
Always wonderful to get their takes on things, have their reactions to songs we've lived with for so long. We are surrounded by so much music it can be easy to forget the meanings of each piece amid the cacophony, but this was a good choice in keeping with the theme of life and death you've been hitting on lately. Another fabulous song by Chris Cornell about death is Say Hello To Heaven from his Temple of the Dog album and this would show off Chris as a younger man and more of his range as a vocalist. And of course I come back to Queen too, because Freddie Mercury died so tragically, but it was a terminal disease, not anything self-inflicted that ended him. The song These Are The Days Of Our Lives," was written as a goodbye and thank you to Freddie's fans as he knew he had not long left to live. Show Must Go On is another like it, released after his death, from the same album.
I do hope they do Temple of the Dog. The band itself is a memorial for a dead man. Say Hello to Heaven would be great but Hunger Strike would be an interesting watch.
SAY HELLO TO HEAVEN... is a song written by this singer over 30 years ago about the death of his best friend, he was only 24 when he died. A very sad and beautiful song that these kind gentlemen would really feel and enjoy.
WOW, I really loved this one. A favorite song of mine and actually made better by all of your reaction and interpretation. Very emotional and good as well
My jaw always drops at the keen insights and interpretations, and these reactors don't speak English as a first language and must draw parallels, and many times my perception of a song is totally blown out of the water. This is an example of how people from two vastly different cultures can come together and find relation, and in the end we all gain wisdom and broader horizons. \Mr. Rind's insights and wisdom leave me feeling more enlightened, not only about the meaning of the song but life itself. Thank you guys so much for your work and I look forward to all your future videos. Farewell and God bless from Canada!
Fantastic as always. Their insights are sometimes so different from my own, and really profound in their own way, that it makes me appreciate how universal music is even if we don't speak the same language.
Beautiful, from the insight, to the brilliance of the song. Chris had a way of making everyone look at themselves and spark a desire to be more empathetic.
I started crying as you explain the meaning behind the lyrics and what Chris’s intention for the song. It’s very deep and I was singing this song for a month until now I can’t believe it
Me too! It is beautiful to see them react to the genius that was Chris and how his songs transcend all language. It definitely brought me to tears seeing how Mr. Bughio felt it in his soul.
Chris Cornell is tied for my favorite singer ever (tied with Layne Staley from Alive in Chains). It makes my heart so happy to see you get to appreciate him and his work. He lives on and will continue to. Chris was the lead singer of multiple extremely famous bands, the latest of which was Audioslave. Temple of the Dog and Soundgarten were his two other HUGE bands. I’m sure you’ve unknowingly heard these bands before. Chris could convey his emotion, especially pain, in an unparalleled way. He was a true genius. You should listen to Chris sing the song he wrote for a former band mate who passed years before his own death. The song is called Say Hello 2 Heaven and Chris’s band he performed it with was Temple of the Dog. I highly suggest it. That and Alice In Chains song Nutshell (that’s my other favorite singer Layne Staley, who also sadly passed away far too young). The reaction at the end is exactly how I feel knowing we have lost such greatness, such humanity in the deaths of these young artists. They are so far from alone. Love from Ohio. 💜
This is a really hard song to listen to. I love it so much musically, it it makes me think of everyone We’ve lost and about myself. It was nice to see these men feel it the way I do. Thank you guys for this

@@TRYBALS Oh I actually usually wait to watch things until they’re uploaded here! I figured that helped out the channel more if I watch it through UA-cam, and I don’t always trust myself to remember to watch something a second time. I consider patreon something I do for the sake of supporting the creators. If I get something out of it, well, that’s a bonus, but that’s not why I’m supporting through there. Of course, if I’m wrong and it would be more helpful for you to have me watch early, just let me know! 😊
@@sarahallegra6239 that's so thoughtful of you though it's the same video on Patreon so anyone watching it over there would help the same way as they'll watch it here. I just share it's link to Patreon as early Access whenever possible. Thank you for your support Sarah, it really means a lot ❤️
@@TRYBALS Oh great! I’ll keep that in mind in the future! Sometimes I see notifications better through UA-cam, but it’s good to know it doesn’t cost you a view if I watch early!
It was so fascinating to watch the reaction to Chris Cornell's voice. I could see in them (especially Mr. Bughio) the same nearly visceral reaction myself and countless others have had to his voice - and that feeling never diminishes. Even after 30 years. Before even translating the lyrics you can see its effect. Just fascinating. id really love to see them experience the music without knowing anything about the life of the artist- i wonder what they would pick up on... and i'd love to see their thoughts on what the song is about before the lyrics are translated. great content! thank you!
Not sure if it’s the same in Pakistan, but here every hotel room has a Bible in it. I often wonder if band members read the Bible for that reason. They play shows until late at night, and can’t just fall asleep when they get back to their hotel rooms. Maybe a lot of Bible reading takes place under these circumstances . It’s sort of unusual to see Bibles so regularly. Most homes don’t have Bibles in sight. If families have one, it’s usually tucked away somewhere , out of sight. This is just from my own experience . As always, you’ve presented an interesting topic, and insightful discussion . PS. Did Abdul one time say he played a stringed instrument ?
again, i LOVE hearing your interpretaions, and the gangs also. Its close to mine, and i learn things from you or things to think about when hearing them. Love you guys, im a 45 year old Polock from NJ USA, I love you guys,. keep it up and thank you
There is a song by Evanescence called "Like You" that I recently heard again today that is very much like the topic of this video. It's more about wanting to be with the one that has passed away. When people you love die, some of us long to be with that person in the afterlife. They are empty inside without them here and despite so many people around, they feel completely alone. Mental health is so difficult to navigate through and some people just cannot get through another day. I've been there many times in my life. Artists tend to feel more intensely about things because they are tapping into emotions that many are too uncomfortable with to handle let alone talk about. That's why we still miss Chester, Chris and Kurt and so many others; but the legacy they left us with helps to keep the memories of them alive. 😎👍
I’ve watched most of your videos and I’m noticing that while I know almost every song you’ve played, I never watched the videos. It’s interesting to see them discovering the song with the videos and how that impacts the songs meaning. For me, the songs were always just the sounds so it’s changing some of my perspectives on the songs meanings as well. This one is a perfect example- I listened to Audioslave and Soundgarden for years but I never saw any of the videos before
It always amazes me when I see young people like this, speak on, reflect on life and death, at such young ages, once more that they experience or witness such dire situations,.as a group, all of us, would so not want someone so young to go through hardships, and horror, at such young ages, not be exposed to such things, and all we can do is pass our knowledge onto them, as perhaps as an inoculation to prepare them for something that may come later in life,..when I was a kid, during the 1960's, my parents tried to shield me, all the while, still educating me, on the perils of life, don't talk to strangers, be aware of your surroundings,..but because of tv, for kids now, it's the internet, but for my generation it was tv, Walter Cronkite, Mike Wallace, on the news every day, reporting live from, and on the Vietnam War,..I saw the violence, and the worry and grief from my mom, for my dad, and I was too young at that time to understand, but I was still exposed, and didn't decipher it all until later, as a young adult,..there is a group, I know so many for you to get to, if you haven't, do check out Pink Floyd,..a song, well the album, Dark Side Of The Moon, is a revelation, about life, youth, and death,..Time, is one of the songs, and as I was at the time, and even more so now that I'm old, you may be amazed at how young these young men were when they made this masterpiece,.. , do keep going, your videos are just wonderful,.. Godspeed, Peace .....
This is a great channel, everyone had really great perceptions of the song. Please let them try the song “Simple Man” original song by Lynard Skynard but I think the song is recreated done best by the band Shinedown. I like this channel a lot, thanks for your uploads.
Watched the music video for Like A Stone yesterday, cried a bit, mainly cuz I lost my grandma around this time 2 years ago, plus Cornell was amazing. I deeply miss both
11:48 I think the reason that the infant is there is to symbolise that the man is so stuck in his squalor of pessimism and mourning that he refuses to acknowledge the beautiful things around him. Especially how the vibrantly coloured clothing contrasts with the dark and old room he’s in.
Chris Cornell was one of the most important artists in my life. Grunge music hit it big right as I was in my early teens, so you're just finding yourself, discovering who you are. Kurt, Chris, Scott, Layne, all those guys helped shape my tastes in music (and style, everybody wore flannel back then). Now they're all gone except for Eddie Vedder. 30 years next year since Kurt's passing. I was working at a pizza joint when I heard it on the radio. We all just sort of stood there, not really understanding. There's a line from Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd. "Did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts." Yeah, they did. They really did. Does it happen to everyone? Do we all reach a point where we just want to go back in time? To those days where we felt comfortable and we understood our world, even if those times weren't the best? Just back to when everything we cherished was still there and alive? I never thought I'd be like that. Yet, here we are. RIP Chris. Hope you've found the peace you never could in life.
what a wonderful thing to do.. Thanks for doing this video... and I'm so happy to see people from different religious backgrounds take the time to listen (knowing the song may be based on a Christian God) and do so without judgement.. and ultimately agree and align that we're all essentially the same.. Cheers guy, I'm now a fan!
I love watching your videos. I do think that they tend to be off from time to time on their assessment of the meaning of a song. With that said, I absolutely love watching your videos. I love to hear their commentary I think they’re very insightful, and in my opinion, their reaction videos bring the world together.
I would love to sit down and just listen to them tell stories. Especially the man with the white beard. I would love that. UA-camr, have you ever thought about having live setup with three or four people to exchange ideas or just speak to each other? That would be really cool to watch. Thanks
Once again I am very impressed by your decision to discuss the deeper meanings and topics of the songs you react to. I've loved both Audioslave and Rage Against The Machine (RATM is the same band but with a different singer) since I was a teenager. They were both very formative part of shaping my worldview. If you decide to do orchestral songs again in the future I would love to see you do a reaction to "Answers". It is an orchestral piece with lyrics in english that was composed by a Japanese studio. It was created for inclusion in a videogame called Final Fantasy but the piece is beautiful on its own. It also has an accompanying cinematic called "End of an Era" which you can choose to either show or not show with the song.
Great video! I highly recommend exposing these 3 gentlemen to the video for "Silent Lucidity" by QUEENSRYCHE. It's a hauntingly beautiful song about fear and dream states, and comforting a child through them. You can also tell them that it's one of Ustad Elizabeth's favourite reactions on The Charismatic Voice.
Great video once again.. so much fun usually but this one was deep. I'm curious what reactions to Japanese band "Dir en Grey" song "Vinushka". Intense, but there's a deep emotional message.
there are some guys that did a remake of 'right in two' by tool from a rooftop in a middle eastern country that would be interesting to see a reaction on.
First time I heard Chris Cornell was when Soundgarden did Badmoterfinger. I was in love. I listened to that cassette so many times. I love the reaction from these gentlemen 😊 Music and food bring people together and I've seen videos of them doing reactions to both ❤
I've watched this video several times since it's been uploaded, but this particular time it really stands out to me the laser focus Mama Abdul has on Chris the entire time. I feel like a lot of people discount him and think he dismisses a lot of stuff he's not accustomed to, but Mama is so insightful and clever in a way other than how most people expect
Deathbed is more of being bed-bound and near death . . . age doesn't always matter, however . . . it could also mean what you said in your explanation depending upon context. Love your channel, your participants, and your content by the way!
I identified with this song as a child but never knew the history behind it, or really considered the specific meaning of the lyrics. I only knew it resonated, and not why. It is very interesting to learn about it along with all of you. Thank you for sharing with us.
I love them all so much, and it makes me worried they won't all be in future videos after you do interviews for new family members. I know the new ones will be like family to me as well, but I hope so much none of these will go. Also I hope the most to see Parvati, she is my sister 100%!
Wow… these men have given me a new perspective yet.. this perspective was already in me so I feel upon speaking about their impressions of this song they allowed what I already knew to come forth. I’m amazed but very gratified that these men from a different culture love this song. It has been a favorite of mine since first hearing it. God is great! God bless us all please and keep us all in his service. Thank you for this video!

Fascinating as always! This song will be stuck in my head for the rest of the week now, haha. But it’s worth it!
Hi Sarah, thanks. Just curious that why haven't you seen this as it was uploaded two weeks ago for patrons?

Real MVP award goes to you
And again, though i,ve heard this song before several times, the. Translator even gave me insight. Great job as always sir
I love these guys ❤ love and peace from Michigan, USA 🙏🙏🙏
It was so fascinating to watch the reaction to Chris Cornell's voice. I could see in them (especially Mr. Bughio) the same nearly visceral reaction myself and countless others have had to his voice - and that feeling never diminishes. Even after 30 years.
Before even translating the lyrics you can see its effect. Just fascinating.
id really love to see them experience the music without knowing anything about the life of the artist- i wonder what they would pick up on...
and i'd love to see their thoughts on what the song is about before the lyrics are translated.
great content! thank you!
I love this. I truly do. Bless you, and bless them.
RIP Chris Cornell, thanks for a great video and choice in song to share.
Love you guys, im a 45 year old Polock from NJ USA, I love you guys,. keep it up and thank you
This was powerful, brother! Great content!
This is powerful. Bless these guys. It’s powerful seeing these reactions.
Beautiful reactions from these wise men. Thank you sirs.
Godspeed, Peace .....
love all the reactions. Sharing humanity...
This was amazing and you guys reacted perfectly.
I deeply miss both
I love this song, I listen to it all the time, it was very interesting to hear the perspective of ppl from a different culture
Hearing Chris always make me cry uncontrollably. It's amazing how much he transmits with his music to everyone who listens to it
11:48 I think the reason that the infant is there is to symbolise that the man is so stuck in his squalor of pessimism and mourning that he refuses to acknowledge the beautiful things around him. Especially how the vibrantly coloured clothing contrasts with the dark and old room he’s in.
I love that they all agree its awesome...
Chris had such a unique special one of a kind voice. RIP CC 💜
Man, I never thought an Eastern tribe would help me better understand a voice that was part of my life. I am very grateful for this channel.
This song brings tears
Beautiful reactions❤
I truly respect Abdul He feels like a kindred spirit to my own heart.
That guitar riff around the end is the best part of that song to me. 😄
Oh man, great topic again! can't wait to watch! Watching! :)
Thanks
Great song, and great reactions.
It's always interesting how different cultures react to art from different societies.
I still mourn the loss of Chris. I feel so lucky to have been live at the same time he made music.
I strongly recommend the song "Be Yourself," also from Audioslave. It's been my favorite song for a long time now.
there are some guys that did a remake of 'right in two' by tool from a rooftop in a middle eastern country that would be interesting to see a reaction on.
I remember buying this album and listening to it over and over while deployed overseas. I am the Highway is still one of the best’s songs ever played.
First time I heard Chris Cornell was when Soundgarden did Badmoterfinger. I was in love. I listened to that cassette so many times. I love the reaction from these gentlemen 😊 Music and food bring people together and I've seen videos of them doing reactions to both ❤
Beautiful reaction from different cultures.
Uncles studying the music video as if they’re in lecture. Awesome to see the effort they put into understanding the art
The acoustic version hits me harder than the studio version. The song really opens up in its nature when it's stripped down
*"Where words fail, music speaks."*
They would love Spoonman by Soundgarden and then maybe Black Hole Sun. Love their reactions to music!!🤘🔥🤘
Huge fan of Cc since 1989 thanks for doing this
Wonderful episode!
Further proof that no matter who, no matter where, we all feel the same things.
And it is often music that reminds us of our unity
The ‘ancient’ building this video was filmed in once belonged to another great and missed musician…. Jimi Hendrix.
Thank you soooo much for this ❤️
