    You seem like a humble dude. It’s obvious that there’s big business going on over there. Good for you bro.

      One hit lead on to another and then another and then the connections and selling services, He might seem like He is all chill but He has worked hard to get to where He is and has taken risks that paid off.

    • @ishbeats9775
      @ishbeats9775 2 роки тому +4

      Amen to that. And that’s part of the reason I watch and show my support. The reason I say he seem chill is how he comes across. Not always trying to flex and floss. It’s easy to see he is successfully. I understand what goes into that. But me personally I like humility. Any way though I’m rooting for everyone. I like to see folks winning. And in the mean and between time I’m getting my beats up to par. And then I’m going to jump in the deep end.#GOTBEATS

    Love both your setup and even more than just the gear itself, I love the obvious evolution and the quality standards you have chosen to utilize as your primary choices for your studio.
    At the same time I really appreciate the knowledge and wisdom you share about understanding the fine line between retaining high quality while maintaining efficiency! Beautiful studio, but the knowledge and pride of the owner is and has always been a constant on this channel. Again, thank you for sharing and for everything you have accomplished Bolo! Definitively the best music production based channels on UA-cam! Your presentation sets you apart from many and that's just fact.

    Hey Bolo, don't know if you ever patch effects between your synths or MPC, but I can tell you that I run my synths and groove boxes into the Sampson S-Patch, then into my audio interface. The S-Patch has the "normaled", "half normaled" and "thru" selectable via a front faced switch. SUPER helpful. If nothing is patched in, I have my MPC Live's two stereo outputs going into my interface inputs 1-4. If I want to send the Live's soft-synths into an effect pedal, I run them out of the MPC outputs 3&4 and use the patchbay to interrupt the signal and patch in my effects. If I unplug the patchbay, my signal goes straight through the patchbay, into the audio interface. There are other routing scenarios that the S-Patch can handle, but I can't recall off of the top of my head. Point being, your Behringer patchbay is nice and inexpensive. There are other patchbays that cost loads of money. But anything else, beyond the Sampson S-Patch, requires that you pull the unit out and tweak some internals, to get the full range of patching options (you gotta watch a video on the patchbay routing options to fully get it) that the S-Patch does standard....and the S-Patch is cheap.
    PS:: maybe consider some ISO pads for your monitors...it's like you got the Rolls Royce of monitors but with some rims you bought off Amazon....decouple them from the stands and kill any false bass.
    Great vid. Love your work. I hope I didn't step on your toes...just my 2 cents.

    Get the Maschine Bolo...you wont regret it. I came from a mpc/korg triton and all hardware background too (for over 20 years). I didnt start using a computer untill about 7 years ago. Mow 99% of the time I use Maschine. I bought a MPC ONE because I thought I missed the portability of hardware, and just missed mpc beatmaking in general. But after I couple weeks I realized there is no going back lol. The workflow and integration is just plain faster and less hassle. Saddens me to say it but its true. NI took the mpc format and improved in in a lot of ways.
    I will say that the mpc has that "mpc" sound quality and punchy-ness that Maschine doesnt match...but if you mix/master in a daw anyhow it makes that irrelevant

    The SSL is dope....only thing i don't like about it is that it doesn't have the 3/4 output jacks like the NI Komplete Audio 6 for control room playback....but all in all the sound quality and the added 4K input is dope....glad i bought it tho....you have a fire studio Bolo!!

    Nice set up! I have a Behringer Eurorack RX1602 also. I use it for headphone routing in conjunction with an ART Headphone Amp 6 to the vocal booth. I looked into an Argosy console but they are very expensive, and I couldnt find one that exactly fit what I wanted. I went ahead and built my own desk and it looks pretty damn good too. I used 1/2" red oak wood and put nice edging on the corners. I used 2 x 4's as its skeleton, so its strong and sturdy.
