Bass that feed on craws have shown a preference for small fat craws with small claws. I suspect they take the cover scat for a craw with small or no claws which is why it is so effective
Hey brother, I’m looking to get into BFS fishing and would love your help on what I should buy. So with Absolutely “No Cap” on a prize budget, as I Don’t Care paying a Premium Price for a Premium Product! A rod and reel that could stand the test of times, and will give me little to know problems is what I’m after! I want something that I could grow into and even pass down to my one-year-old son when he’s old enough to fish. What’s a “Do All” versatile Rod and Reel that you recommend to fish lighter lures, for Bass, Trout and Croppie? Multiple suggestions is fine just as well. Thanks and tight lines, ~ Manny ~ 🤙🏼
Conquest BFS for the reel due to its all metal construction, as far as the rod? anything with a lure rating down to 1/16th oz. Theres probably alot of JDM options for a rod like that, you will just have to research.
I’ve used the smallest cover scat in a highly pressured pond in Southern California, and I caught a 4 pounder

That's the only explanation I've read that makes sense. 😅
good theory
I have caught a 6# in NH on the cover scat. I tx-rig and twitch it like a senko.
I may have to break down and try them... the original of course lol
I give the Flick Shake a try this summer. Interested to see if it outperforms my usual go to shaky head/stick baits worms.
I like this type of video, very cool.
I’m going to dig out my flick shake, I know I have it somewhere. 😂
I love the geecrack bellows gill, I wreck them on it
The cover scat looks like something I dispose of when doing #2, so next time, I will try to sell my own 😂😂😂
lol

2.5 bull flat awesome on a drop shot. Trust me. Get it in champagne....
Speaking of fujita did you see the cameraman expose his secret bait at lake fork? It looked like a neko rigged Dolive gill.
Thanks!! 😅
I did not, I really dont follow the tournament scene. I only knew because the Japanese websites I follow did articles on it
@@THEREELTEST oh man I’d love to see how they reacted, can you share the article names?
The use of worm for these baits is stressing me out....
yes every soft plastic is a worm
@@THEREELTEST in Japan 😆
i don't think the bass in my local pond will bite these lures. they don't like japanese food. i tried sushi once, but didn't catch anything on it.
Yep, you are cheezy! 😅
