Today I finally added water to my new 40 gallon aquarium as well as put the Driftwoodand lava rock in the aquarium to decorate it.

That’s a lot of flow. May I suggest putting the filter at the side of the aquarium so that the would be just in one direction?

I have two 40g one is a cold water community with with white cloud minnows and cherry shrimp, and then the other one has a baby Senegal bichir and a pearl gourami.

Since it’s so powerful and looks like a river bed why not do a hill stream community. They love a strong current and you could add some filter feeding shrimp.

Love this video. I have a 55 gallon parrot fish tank. They are very hardy and have great personalities. They can withstand things like a shield. They are some of the few species that dont dig up plants. You could put 3 or 4 with some community fisH.
