Everyone praises Tatiana, Eugene and Vlad, but very rarely does anyone praise Roman...and he's just as amazing as the rest of them.
And I'm pretty sure it's just called Ukraine, not THE Ukraine
Yes, Roman is just as amazing! I think this is the first Metal Band that I have ever listened to that the main focus wasn't on the guitar(s) or the guitar player, but Roman is barely mentioned most of the time.
Yeah, just like how nobody says "THE USA" right?

I’m was looking forward to seeing them for the first time with Slipknot this April here in Cleveland. I just hope that they are staying as safe as possible over there (along with everyone else). That’s the only important thing right now! 😢🇺🇦
I got to them in Milwaukee on November 11th. It was an amazing show. I am also hoping to see them again with Slipknot when they go to Green Bay . For now let's just hope for a quick resolution to the atrocious acts that are being committed against the Ukrainian people.

I just saw them in December in Albuquerque and everytime I listen to this song I bawl my eyes out. so much pain sorrow and anger in this song. 😢 My prayers are for the people of Ukraine.

In those C130 vids its not missiles leaving the plane, it called CHAFF/Flare. Its basically super heated metal pieces shot into the sky to distract heat seeking missiles to protect the plane from being hit. I used to work on C130's.

In newsclip young Ukrainian women made Molotov's coctails of homemade napalm (type one is easy as heck). They gave them to volunteers. Russian high command has not announced any Russian casualties yet. The bodybags of those soldiers returning back to both countries are equally heavy and the pain of mothers who bury their children is similar. Tears have no nationality😢

You are badass yourself Jen. Thank you for standing with Ukraine. Most of us do. This song is about this war. Just most people don't realize it started in 2014. And Jinjer know it up close. They are refigees, after all. My heart has been bleeding for them, the Ukrainian people ever since their Revolution of Dignity. What's going on is shitty. But let's respect the valour of the Ukraininas, standing for freedom.
Apparently, according to the news I just saw Kiev is under attack at this very moment by Russian forces. I don't know the truth of any of this reporting but we definitely need to pray for the people in Ukraine.🙏I hope the guys in the band are safe if they are there

These lyrics are based off of their earlier experience with war. They come from the Donbass area where there has been conflicts since 2014 and they had to make a decision to flee, leaving their parents and other relatives behind. Now they´re experiencing this shit all over again but in a much larger scale 💔

Served 3 tours in Iraq for operation Iraqi freedom. I have pictures with this amazing woman that are candid. Meet and greet with cradle of filth during cryptonia tour. She took the selfies with my phone. I did surprise her. Little drunk and gave her a lifted off feet bear hug from behind. Appreciated my enthusiasm and didn't call security. Plus I had backstage pass, after show pass. She's EPIC!

I am writing from Warsaw. Just two hours drive from Ukraine. And Eugene /the bass genius/has posted two days ago that all members of Jinjer were stuck in Kiev. People are dying there. The city is burning. They are fighting .
Did you get to see the video that Eugene posted a few days ago, if not you might want to check it out. Also, Tatiana is safe in California, but the other three are stuck in Ukraine, and we're all safe as two days ago. I must say that the Ukrainian people have stood up to one of the most powerful military forces the world, and kept them at bay. The members of Jinjer can stand proud among the people of there country. This was the perfect video to react to. Thanks Jen!

@@JustJenReacts I'm pretty sure "THE Ukraine" comes from back in the USSR days when it was considered "the Ukraine region" of the USSR. Now that they have their independence, it is just Ukraine, just the terminology stuck around and people still call it that not knowing why.

In 1998 I was lucky enough to visit Hungary to see a girl friend whilst there we drove to the south of the country to see here Grandma. The south of Hungary borders the former Yugoslavia. We could hear the bombs going off in Yugoslavia. Scary stuff.
This is my favorite Jinjer song I wish they would have done it during their fall tour I read that I think Eugene is over in the Ukraine at Kiev But everybody else from the band is over here in America yeah so I pray that he gets out OK it's a shame of what's going on in today's world in today's world and since I love this band so much I think that's why I'm really paying attention to the news for the Ukraine I just feel bad for all them people losing their houses family members and everything over a power struggle for money I still hope they tore in the Spring I have tickets for them at knotfest It will be my 4th time seeing them and in this moment

LMFAO that is not a C-130. A C-130 is a US Air Force Plane. Generally used as a cargo plane. The Plane in the video was a Russian Mig fighter jet.
Hopefully this will be over soon as peace talks are starting today.

I'm in Europe, and I often feel like Americans are completely out of touch with what's going on right now.
It's a war in the Ukraine for sure... The problem is that if the West goes to war, Poutine can go very far and affect the rest of Europe, as well as the United States. For the simple reason that what led him to do what he is doing is largely because of the West. The American government has been responsible for years for what is happening today. It's all about geopolitics and imperialism.
Of course, there is no excuse for what Poutine is doing. But the West in general must put its own house in order.
What Poutine is doing now, Western countries have done it very often in the past (and recent past), but it never shocked anyone.
But it is always the citizens who suffer. There are no good guys or bad guys, none of us wants war. But we are led by people who constantly put us in danger.

Putin = loser.

Thanks for sharing this. Everyone in Ukraine I've heard speak is very firm in blaming Putin not the Russian people. If it will cause more distress I don't blame you not watching it but there's a video "Grozny after the wars" that shows what Putin did to that city. I worry for everyone in Kyiv.

I changed my tune about blaming the Russian people. Not only is Putin elected to his position, but even now he has a 70% approval rating among the Russian people. That's more than any modern president of the US ever had.

I quess we can just shout, keep it in media, shout for more help to Ukraina, boycott all the companies, that don't commit to the sanctions (cause every euro/dollar goes to shooting the ukranians - civilians too). And support those who commit themselves to the sanctions.

I am worried about the guys of the band who are in the Ukraine. The are telling all the males between 18 and 60 to go fight. I don't want anything to happen to them. jinjer is supposed to be back in cleveland with slipknot april 4. don't know if that will happen at this point. even tho i am a parma hts native, i wont be there, cuz i now live in south texas. keep your snow. i have tickets to the march 24 show where they headline in katy, texas. even if it means letting down ticket holders, they have to do whatever it takes to keep them and theirs safe. keep up the great work!

I fear that after this the people of Donbass will be hated by the rest of Ukraine even more after this conflict. It's an extremely complicated situation but let's just say that a lot of the Russian speaking Ukrainians in Donbass have plenty of reasons to be angry at their country. At the same time what Putin is doing is ABSOLUTELY NOT justified. My friend's uncle (friend is from Donetsk) personally saw innoncent civilians get shot by Ukrainian soldiers back in 2014 in Donetsk, I think it was the Azovs (look up Azov battalion if you don't know who they are) who did it. Look all I'm saying is, there's a reason why the people of Donbass aren't too happy with the Ukrainian government/military either, let's hope that both sides are treated fairly when all this is over, and that Russia moves their troops the fuck out of this country, they don't belong. I however have a feeling that it's only going to foster more hate...
The entire purpose of this poignant song and video is to deliver Jinjer's vital message of the lyrics. My take: People the world over, we've got to do better. Kick out and reject tyrannical, corrupt, greedy leaders that bring poverty and war to the people while building their own egos and bank accounts. (Putin has stolen over 250 billion from the Russian people)
We can make the world peaceful and prosperous starting with or own country. Vote 'em out NOW and put in true leaders with integrity and ideas that build, not destroy to enrich themselves! If you don't have any, become one yourself and run for office! Sorry for the rant.
