Pit of consciousness live at Kiev, on the top same concert and sit stay roll over probably on of there hardest song I think! Great reaction can’t wait for the next one
My friends band The Agonist 2nd singer toured with Jinjer. They became friends with the band after their European tour with them. Vicky told me stories of the tour. The Agonist broke up last year as a band. She was heart broken because of the band decision because it was her first band to be in since 2014. Her new band is Sicksense which is a Numetal band. The band members are very cool as well
Jinjer is the best metal band out today. They are ridiculously talented at every position, and they truly don't have a bad song to their name. Continue down the rabbit hole and you will absolutely fall in love with this band. There is nobody like them!
Favourite Jinjer song? Teacher Teacher. ...wait, maybe Wallflower... ...or Pit of Consciousness... ...or Vortex... ...or Home Back, Perennial, Retrospection, Judgemen & Punishment, Who is Gonna Be the One, Pisces, Bad Water, On the Top, lainnereP, the list goes on. They are just all too good: even the songs that don't resonate as much with me on a personal level blow me away on every listen.
Love this incredible song. Tatiana's vocal translations are seamless and mindboggling. Definitely check out Perennial live at Wacken and Judgement and Punishment Tatiana's one take vocal performance version
@LillyJaneReacts i love your reacts 🤘🏽😎🤘🏽 but my fav Jinjer song is Vortex the story, the instrumentals, the vocals all beautiful, well-executed instruments in one song. Judgement & Punishment (her one take performance) is also my favorite as well tied with Vortex
I love Jinjer's live performances. The two I would pick "Who is Gonna be the One" (Live, Napalm Records) and "Captain Clock" live at Resurrection Fest.
I hardly ever see Captain Clock live being suggested. I think it is one of their best ones and it really highlights Tati's stage presence. Good choice!!!!
My favorite Jinjer song is Captain Clock. The main video for the song is a lyric video. It's good but the live version at Resurrection Fest is also my favorite live performance from them.
Background how this song came to be. Tatiana Shmailyuk, lead singer Jinjer, wrote this scathing number about religious hypocrites after a good friend - a fellow musician and Pisces - accused her of being immoral. The so-called friend took offense when Tatiana Shmailyuk posed in lingerie on Instagram to promote a woman's small business. After receiving some perverted comments, the singer removed the post but, little did she know, the damage was done. "My friend, who I won't name, started dwelling on this behind my back on all her social media. She did streams and posted it on Twitter, saying, 'You don't have to do that. You're not bad as a singer, so you don't have to show your body to have success.' And then she blocked me from her social media!" she recalled in a 2022 Songfacts interview. "So that's the song about her. She tried to teach me morality without even knowing the reason why I put those things out - because I wanted to help a person promote her products, not to gain attention or popularity. So, long story short, this is for bitches like her." Source: Soundfacts
They're all my favorites. If I have to choose, I'd pick polar opposites. Pit of Consciousness (Live in Kiev) for her insane growls and "Bad Water" omv for the cool video and doesn't have any growls.
Jinjer are a shining light of metal in the 2020s. They already have many excellent songs, often with a strong political message, but my favourite remains "Outlander", from earlier in their career.
Picking a favorite Jinjer song is damn near impossible. Every song is so good. Home Back, Who Is Gonna Be The One, Bad Water, On The Top, Scissors, Vortex, Sit, Stay, Roll Over, are all up there.
My review favorites would be Perennial, either the music video or the live at Wacken, then I Speak Astronomy, then Who Is Gonna Be The One, Retrospection and On The Top. I mean all of them basically. Seriously, with a few exceptions, each one has something to offer.
2 of my favourites have gotta be Outlander and Perennial (particular live Wacken version). And also I Speak Astronomy! Funny story I first discovered Jinjer back about 5 years ago through a UA-cam recommendation, and I literally only clicked the video because I am ginger and found it hilarious 😂 and here I am a huge fan 🤘
She has all the talent. Love their band! 🇺🇦 Also: Judgement (& Punishment) ‘one take version’. Favorite song. She’s got the hottest vibe in that video.
I am glad that you are enjoying your Jinjer adventure. I have been following Jinjer for 6 years now and I am still excited about the band and Tatiana, all their song are great and distinctly different. It is hard to find a favorite. I would that Tati’s live performance of their Who is going to be the one. Any of their live performances where they have a good sound system out shine their videos, which is hard because their videos are very good. Wall flower is one of their most epic videos.
There are so many great songs. I’d suggest maybe try Home Back next, now that you know the band’s heritage and what they do with their music. Great reaction!
1) Pisces 2) No Hoard of value 3) Outlander 4) Exposed as a liar 5) Just another 6) Perennial 7) Until the End 8) Scissors They are all very close to me but basically at least them but many more.
You really can't go wrong with Jinjer, the whole band is amazing and Tatiana is a superstar. They're once of the best bands going right now. Also check out Crypta, the all female death metal band from Brazil, their new album is awesome and they have some great videos.
Pit of Consciousness live in Kiev is arguably their best live preference they have ever done. The music alone is fire then Tati dumps her entire duffel bag of vocal techniques on top of that. This song is band from work out Playlist because you will wind up injuring your everything
-In the year since checking them out, Jinjer has become my favorite band. I’ve seen them live three times(twice as the headliner and once as an opening act) and have had the best time I’ve ever had. -“Teacher, Teacher” is my favorite song by them. I’ve sometimes had second thoughts when listening to other songs. However, as soon as I hear “Good evening, kids. Take your seats and open up your Bibles.”, I realize it’s no contest. For me, it’s the last verse including the most beautiful way to say “Fuck you” to someone. -You’ve done numbers one and two of my Top 5. The rest of my Top 5 is: *”Bad Water” *”Perennial” *”Sit Stay Roll Over” -Keep going down this rabbit hole.
Jinjer is one of the best bands around today, not least because Vlad, their drummer, is a classically trained pianist and adds a layer of complexity and syncopation thats makes their compositions really stand out. I'd recommend Vortex and Wallflower for shining examples of virtuousity. Love the reaction!!
Hands down, favorite Jinjer song - Retrospection (OMV) - the SICKEST Jinjer drop in a song, period. Hands down favorite Jinjer performance - Pit Of Consciousness live in Kiev - The band is perfect and Tatiana shows her highs, mids (screams) and lows (growls) Hands down - most people react this way when they actually hear a few Jinjer songs - and hands down - watching you is precious!
Another great reaction! So glad you are enjoying Jinjer. They are really unlike anyone else in the business right now. Their songs are so dynamic, and they blend grooves and genres effortlessly. They do this, yet they all stay quite balanced, with no one person attempting to overpower the other. Creating complete songs without the ego. Hard to pick a single song but be sure to check out "Perennial" live at Wacken, "Judgement and Punishment" one take, "Home Back", "Vortex", and "I Speak Astronomy". Can't wait to see more
This actually is my favorite Jinjer song lol I went back and forth with A Plus or a Minus, and Who is Gonna be the One as well, but I just can't get enough of Teacher Teacher lol
I think this might be my all-time favorite tune from this band, and one of my top five favorite Metal tunes. The singer of this band is clearly in a tier of her own.
The band is dope for the brain. Best metal band with a female singer. Man she can Growl. Guitar, base and drum are also insane. Watch the song Sit Stay Roll Over
Hi Lilly - enjoying your Jinjer reactions a lot. They got me in exactly the same way and I continue to be amazed by this band. I can't pick out a single song really, but Vortex and Wallflower from their last album have great videos too.
My favs are RETROSPECTION, WHEN TWO EMPIRES COLLIDE, AS I BOIL ICE and PERENNIAL. but honestly i have a playlist of every complete JINJER album in order and there are no skips :)
My all time favorite Jinjer song is "Retrospection" i would recommend the music video. There are some fantastic live versions, but the MV gives visual context the live versions are missing
Yesss, saw them live in 2019, please go down the rabbit hole. Every member is recognized. Eugene, beast on the bass, vlad on drums, roman on guitar and ofc tati is amazing.. 2
All the songs that I have seen in the comments are great... I personally think their best non-live video is " I speak astronomy ". It showcases the entire band , the song writing, the production and Tatiana's vocals.
"Don't be scared of the change!" I like it! And I like your reaction to Jinjer! Excellent ears--you hear stuff others miss. I just did a quick dive through your videos, and you seem to have a knack for grabbing onto the essence of a song in a pretty quick take, without a lot of pausing and rewinding. I'm not opposed to skillful pausing and rewinding, but you squeeze a lot of insight into a small space. Good work! I'm mostly around for the Jinjer lol. To me they are the most exciting band around these days. For too long I got locked into old dinosaur bands like Metallica. When I discovered Jinjer in late 2022 it sparked a revolution in my rotation habits. Now I'm into djent and metalcore and progressive melodic metal (among many other things). Don't be scared of the change!
One thing ive. Noticed its they like to use silences in a lot of their songs, appart from their dinamic range the use use silences is underrated in metal, it makes the harsh and intense parts shine even more, like it does in "i speak astronomy". Opeth used silences too specially in early allbums and it worked great to set the atmosphere
Pisces, first me the first song heard ist and stays the best, its more like ballade and hard rock at the same time. All are super artists! And then they just started and didn’t stop , love the songs ..
Awesome to see ya getting into Jinjer!, My favourite band these days, Been a fan since 2015 and my favourite tune is Cloud Factory(the live version with Tati in the weed pants is the best version!) cheers 🤘
Pit of contiousness, or scissors ( live of course). Got to see them for my 60th birthday with my son. 🔥🔥😎
Рік тому+2
Next stop, "PIt of Conciousness Live at Kiev"... it's time you see them live and watch Tati peform her magic live... it's one of the few bands which sound better live than in studio!!
Fave track is Vortex, unless I'm listening to Wallflower in which case I'm not so sure. But ask me after the next album drops... probably will have a new king then.

Definitely check out Perennial live at Wacken and Judgement and Punishment Tatiana's one take vocal performance version
Always here for Jinjer.
"Judgement and Punishment" one take performance is bad ass........that song has clean vocals, growls, screams along with reggae
Perennial is my favorite Jinjer song. Their live version is badass!
Perennial Live at Wacken Open Air 2019 to be specific, at least that’s my favorite
Thet's my second favorite song, the first is I Speak Astronomy
@@gedece They have some recent live versions of that track on youtube. Awesome as ever.
This band don't play. You ow it to yourself to see them live at least once. Fabulous. Tatiana is the Queen.
“Pit of Consciousness” live in Kiev and “I Speak Astronomy”. Two epic compositions by Jinjer. There are also many others.
Great band, great song, great reaction! Please help yourself to more Jinjer!
Definitely, pit of consciousness live in Kiev, it's badass.
Awesome Reaction! I hope to see more Jinjer on your channel!
I love Jinjer's live performances. The two I would pick "Who is Gonna be the One" (Live, Napalm Records) and "Captain Clock" live at Resurrection Fest.
Outlander and When 2 Empires collide from Resplublica festival in 2015 are insane..
My favorite Jinjer song is either “Teacher Teacher”, “Vortex”, “ Home Back” or “I Speak Astronomy” depending on my mood! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻😎
This is by far my favorite Jinjer song.
My go to is still Pit of Conciousness, especially the live in Kiev version that song gives me chills every single time.
This and On the Top, from the same performance. This band is damn near unparalleled live! ❤
My all-time favorite JINJER song?
THIS song!
I went to Catholic school and this song hits all the points!
Lilly, if one of the interviews with Tatiana was not Elizabeth at The Charismatic Voice, I'd recommend watching that one.

She did her growl in amplified and it's really quiet same with randy Blythe
2 of my favourites have gotta be Outlander and Perennial (particular live Wacken version). And also I Speak Astronomy! Funny story I first discovered Jinjer back about 5 years ago through a UA-cam recommendation, and I literally only clicked the video because I am ginger and found it hilarious 😂 and here I am a huge fan 🤘
I saw Jinjer this summer and they are a band to keep an ear out for. The talent in this band is so high its astounding.
My favorite song by jinjer is judgment and punishment
She has all the talent. Love their band! 🇺🇦
Also: Judgement (& Punishment) ‘one take version’. Favorite song. She’s got the hottest vibe in that video.

"Cloud Factory official live video" and "Bad Water official live video" from the same show.
There are so many great songs. I’d suggest maybe try Home Back next, now that you know the band’s heritage and what they do with their music.
Great reaction!
I can't tell you which one is my favorite and why until you react to it... So guess you'll have to keep watching more Jinjer vids!
You should check out her one take of Judgment and Punishment then you really see just how talented she is.

They are absolutely amazing live! Seen them twice and gets the heart pumping each time!
Oh and I forgot to add….FU****ING SLAYER!!!! All day every day!!! Real METAL!!!🤘🫨🤘🤬🤘
Jinjer - Teacher Teacher (Live in Melbourne)
Jinjer is one of the best bands around today, not least because Vlad, their drummer, is a classically trained pianist and adds a layer of complexity and syncopation thats makes their compositions really stand out. I'd recommend Vortex and Wallflower for shining examples of virtuousity. Love the reaction!!

I speak astronomy, is my all time favorite. But also "wallflower" and a lot more. They are just amazing
I love jinjer, is hard to pick one song, but one of my favorites is "I speak astronomy"
All time favorite is really hard, but I would probably have to say Home Back.
Such a badass song! 🔥
Teacher, Teacher is my favorite Jinjer song. Thanks for checking it out. I think you would like Vortex and I Speak Astronomy.
The band is dope for the brain. Best metal band with a female singer. Man she can Growl. Guitar, base and drum are also insane. Watch the song Sit Stay Roll Over

Vortex is my favourite song of theirs. Really enjoyed your reaction, absolutely superb
Yesss, saw them live in 2019, please go down the rabbit hole. Every member is recognized. Eugene, beast on the bass, vlad on drums, roman on guitar and ofc tati is amazing..

All the songs that I have seen in the comments are great...
I personally think their best non-live video is " I speak astronomy ". It showcases the entire band , the song writing, the production and Tatiana's vocals.
I go to every Jinjer show even vaguely close to me.
You cannot go wrong with literally anything Jinjer does. I'm partial to Vortex, Perennial, Judgement and Punishment.
"Don't be scared of the change!" I like it! And I like your reaction to Jinjer! Excellent ears--you hear stuff others miss.

Teacher Teacher is hands down my favorite song by Jinjer, but Retrospection and Wallflower are 2nd and 3rd.
My favourite Jinjer song is Vortex (official video)!

This might still be my favorite, but man, it might Vortex, or Wallflower, or Sit Stay Roll Over, or I Speak Astronomy, or Perineal, or......
I like their song Vortex. Also Home Back.

Next Jinjer's song to react to: Judgement and Punishment. You're gonna love it, I know!
Wallflower from the Wallflower album but runners up Vortex (if you want to be crushed beneath the earth crust) and destroyer!
My favorite song is "Outlander" - sooo powerful
Pit Of Consciousness live at Kiev!
Another great current band worth checking out is ad infinitum. Ravenous, eternal rains, or marching on Versailles especially

Jinjer - Pit of consciousness, live in Kiev
Excellent.
