Had no idea that some colours would take longer to fuse! Have you ever used moulds to fuse cabochons so you get the exact shape? Looking forward to your enamel video 😃 Cheers
Hi Ugly Patriot. That' seems odd to say 😉 Yes, there can be a huge difference with colours. Simple test. Fuse a piece of black and another of white in same fusing (same schedule) and you'll see the difference. If you had combined in one piece you can see that the result may not be as you expect. Of course, if you went to a high temp for a long time they would both fuse into the same shape as they pull up, but at normal temps they will be very different. Yes, I have used moulds to make cabs, and they've work mostly. It's just hard to find different shapes and sizes. May do a video of that in the future. 🤔 But getting the shape and size right is why I like hand cutting cabs as you'll see in my videos on this. Thanks for the questions. Always good to be stimulated to think about what I'm doing. 👴👍
I love the sepia decals for this. You can design and print them yourself. Please share your experience with using these.
