  • Today I'm frying a whole turkey in Char-Broil's Big Easy Oil-Less Fryer. I'll inject this turkey with a tequila and butter injection, season it with Loot N Booth Chicken Seasoning and then finish the turkey with a apricot-jalapeno & tequila glaze.
    Inspiration for this recipe is from Apricot & Tequila Glazed Turkey created by Marcela Valladolid and published on the foodnetwork.com.

    Thank you for a very easy lesson, that makes for another receipt for turkey cooking, which is truly a good idea for turkey meals other then Thanksgiving Day.

    I'm not sure what Marci said but it must have been as good as the turkey! Another delicious video guys!

    Whoa, this looks fantastic. I'm doing turkey roast this year (white/dark meat) and I think I'll make something like this in my SRG. Thanks.

    Good looking bird Jeff! That oil less fryer looks pretty cool and I’m down with the injection despite the dog angle. :) Also your T-shirt is hilarious!

      Thanks Charley. Unfortunately, there are no retakes when you are a one man band 😁.

    I'm loving that glaze, thinking maybe orange marmalade instead. Oh and I'm going to have to send you my wet brine version, you might get a kick out of that, but it takes a lot longer.= )

    How many minutes per pound?

    • @Armadillopepper
      @Armadillopepper  4 роки тому

      I never cook at minutes per lb. Recommend using a digital thermometer to track temp. Time will vary based on several different factors.
