Joe I have many many memories with some old timers, wish I had the video capability back then, one was my Dad. miss the hunting and fishing with him. all the old timers I hunted and fished with are gone now. You have a great time and record the memories.

Looking forward to you ice fishing adventures this winter my friend. Beautiful videos
thank you.
Late to the party, but what an awesome video series! You guys are hilarious!
thank you! appreciate it.
I enjoyed watching this video. That spatula that is offset is excellent in flipping eggs ect. Also if I might make a suggestion on your fly casting. Remember the old days when we picked up the phone saying hello only to say it's for you. That action of picking up a phone then passing it to another is the motion in casting. 10 o'clock to 2 o'clock. Use it wrist. Watch other videos too. Keep up the good work.
Awesome thank you

thank you, one of the best ever
Been a while since I did a river camping trip. Looked like a good time!
thank you, It was a blast.
Joe use your wrist to cast a fly rod. You have a lot of arm into it. It will cast some much better if you just use your wrist. Less fatigue at the end of the day too. Awesome videos
for sure, I have no technique other than bull.
You are doing fine. Just use your wrist next time and see how it works out for you.
@@talltimber4577 awesome thank you, will try for sure next time.
10 to 2 Joe! Haha. Have Stevey or Toby’s give ya a quick lesson
The salamander would have looked good on a Carolina rig!
very true!
What was that ending all about, prayer, meditation, or maybe you were both just nodding off, lol
It’s nice sometimes just to sit by a fire with friends or a friend and just watch the logs burn down and listen to the fire crackle and not even have to say anything.
Metal detecting is fine. Removing artifacts is not. When we locate the site of an early Maine logging operation we explore it, document it and leave it alone. Let others have the thrill of discovery. In the very rare instances when we do desire to remove artifacts we get the land owners permission and share any information with them.
Thank you for sharing your opinion. I appreciate it .
Relaxing video. You guys ever do any gold panning together?
No, I am not sure how the panning is in Maine. Sounds like fun.
@@JoeHollandFishing I'm not too sure myself, but want to try it one day in honor of my Dad. He always had panning gear and a metal detector on him. So that was cool to see the detector in your video.
@@FreedomFishing I saw that the Reboot guys were doing some earlier this year. I don't know how it panned out for them
@@JoeHollandFishing Do you know their YT handles? I'll have to check em out.
@@FreedomFishing not really a youtube channel but check out Reboot Outdoors Maine on the other platforms and they have a site.
We want the donut recipe
Stay tuned to the channel
Hate to rain on your explorations but the state does have Rules for State Parks and Historic Sites.
The following rules and regulations are established by the Bureau of Parks and Lands (Bureau) pursuant to the provisions of the "Maine Revised Statutes Annotated," Title 12, Section 1803, subsection 6.
1. The use of all State Parks and Historic Sites, as defined in the Title 12 MSRA section 1801 (5), (7), shall be limited to the purposes for which they are being preserved and to activities determined by the Bureau to be compatible with the intended use of the facility. Activities which endanger persons or property are prohibited. The removal, molesting, injury or damage of anything natural, physical, prehistorical, or historical within these areas is strictly prohibited except as outlined in section 20 regarding hunting, trapping and firearms.
4. Use of metal detectors at historic sites is prohibited. Metal detectors are allowed in other areas only by written permit obtained at the park.
Right thanks, Not a state park or historic site.
Cheers guy's👍😎👍
