Same here man. Me and my boys were all 23 or 24 years old in 1990 (class of '85 here). So we were about the same age as the guys in those "grunge" bands.. It was like our generation (gen•X) had arrived and it kicked ass. The 90's were the absolute best time of my life. If I could go back for a visit, it would be summer of 1992 @ Lollapalooza 2 (Pittsburgh show). We caught Lollapalooza I in DC in '91 while hanging out in Ocean City Maryland.. 🤘 Great time to be alive for sure.

It’s like no other drug we’d go raving on Saturday night and all function at work by Monday morning! This was back in 89/90 by 93 things turned moody as it was becoming mainstream and being cut with all sorts of rubbish. It’s not addictive like coke because you need the music and the music needed mdma! I bowed out gracefully went in to get married n have three kids but to be in London and part of that underground rave era is something else! It’s not moody like coke nor as terrible as heroin. Tried H once and threw up all night never tried it again. Ecstasy was the original party drug and I believe was what gave him his confidence

@@Matt_237 you even know what a boy band is, that means you were born after these albums came out and the album Nevermind was not their first album does not describe Nirvana at all then you would say pearl jams a boy band they’re just different why define them in anyway that’s silly if people like music, that is nothing to do with today and then I don’t compare and put those people down. You never know what those people go through especially when these bands came out in their teen years.
Obviously, you like Pearl Jam better I just got into them as an adult and they’re they’re great they’re band is great but I love Nirvana wheel of the day I die they were my first love. I was young, but I went back and there’s still the same as they were, when they were first a band before the pop album industry made, never mind in which Killed Kurt in the end whether he was murdered or not that’s what killed him mind, body and soul both of the bands have love each other, and the young people on these old sets get on my nerves because it’s stuff us older people get to see that didn’t get to see because we were so young and they were all over the world at this point have you ever been an actual show not a concert? Then you would understand.

@@ListedMia-sm4xmI didn't read everything you just wrote, as you're a presumptuous jackwagon. I was born February 2nd, 1979, so yeah. Strike one and you're done. Nirvana is a boy band. You just started to talk about "Nevermind" not even being their first album. Bleach was re-released after Nevermind. Because ... I have both copies. Clown. At 11, anyone with talent could play their guitar riffs. Because they're awful.
They're a Pixies knockoff band. Kurt was an absolute clown. He was today's Taylor Swift. A look at me Kardashian. That's how I know you WERE NOT alive. Pearl Jam, Tool, NIN, Ministry ... I'll stop ... there were dozens of better bands around. Nirvana just made boy band music that chicks liked and football players liked, so they got popular.
Again, didn't read your whole presumptuous nonsense. As someone that had to see them twice because the other band on the bill was better, they sucked. The Breeders made them look like crap at the Armory. I was 14 years old. At least he had good aim.
