Notice how when he's in a disadvantage everything is grey and sober, but when the music drops he gets the advantage and everything is colorful
It's a shader effect you can see in MHW, when there's a huge electric attack going on everything nearby gets desaturated in the exact same way. The teaser and this trailer both had it happen during the lightning sandstorm.
A little something extra: the weather of the sandstorm has all the hallmarks of an elder dragon being nearby as established in MHW.
@nerezza5943 you should clarify what MHW is which
I mean you CAN find out contextually, but still...

There was Rathalos at the end of the previous trailer.

7 days after, UA-cam now decides to notify me about this vid that I previously watched, love it
This gives me MHW nostalgia when everything feeled so alien and unknown at the beginning. And there's already new interesting content to see in this trailer. Can't wait to see more!
The best for me is to enter this world the first time and just explore. Ofc I like to fight the monsters but this universe, this unknown world just hits the sweat spot for me. Loved this in world too.
If you want nostalgia, go back to the MH2 intro and compare the Greatsword block scene vs Blangonga from that with the Greatsword clash at the end of this trailer. I got goosebumps
Couldve just been mh world dlc since it's the same engine with minor changes
@@EsuZeno MHW was on MT Framework

The first time playing through Monster Hunter World was a magical experience..I hope this will live up to that!

Having the mount pick you up off the ground after being tossed feels to me both tactical and funny simultaneously. Lets also not forget switch skills from Rise. A genius mechanic I am overjoyed is not a one-off from a different game.
its funny to think about when switch skills are just rebranded hunter arts. Since the same team worked on Rise that worked on Generations
At first I liked it but I hope there is a timer for it or another way to balance It. Same goes for sharpening while Riding, was to good.
@@leonidasvonsparta Sharpening while riding is fine. Anything preventing movement towards the next round with the monster you're hunting while doing something as basic as sharpening is just a pointless waste of time.
@@ChimericWhite I never played any of the earlier games unfortunately, my first one was World. I do understand that mechanics come and go with this franchise. I am curious on if there are any meaningful differences between the two.
Also switch skills + slinger sound cool if they implemented that.
@@marmyeater While i get your sentiment and I wholeheartedly agree that quality of life *additions* isnt a bad thing persay, this is a sentiment mostly held by players of the portable series, which is much more fast paced. I cant speak for how the game is gunna go, but its obvs going to be *very* story driven. We might end up seeing a slower approach to combat with this title.
TY MONSTER HUNTER FOR ALL THESE YEARS ( AND YEARS TO COME).
1:46 typical GS moment
Lololol
Thing looks like a demon love child between Brachydios and Deviljho
I'm glad that we're back on the old continent. Seeing the sandship in the new graphic gave me chills.
Things I notice:
0:15 Yan Kut-Ku doll (excited). Palico can talk? Also notice a fishing rod. Weapon or they can fish for us now?
0:05 & 0:17 another palico at the back with green cape armor. Our palico using default armor
0:10 that is our smithy and our handler with glasses
0:32 Monster dragging food
0:42 birds on Ceratonoth
0:50 babies following the adult
1:05 this is pretty cool. Hunter use grappling hook to get some stone and use slingshot to drop the rocks. Yes grappling hook and slingshot are back.
1:50 the mount pick up and save down hunter (pretty cool)
1:20 different monster fight on the bear then 1:23 it got hit and throw down
1:34 monster can use other dead monster as throwable weapon instead of environment structure
1:58 hunter wielding greatsword, then calls mount, then switch to gunner. Primary and secondary weapon?
2:34 these structure seems to act as light to guide hunters during sand storm. same as Ceratonoth spike 1:34 & 2:27
2:31 SOS and 3 hunters. Same hunter at the end. But 2:37 4th hunter is on the right screen
The rest are pretty obvious

Neither skeletons were new
@zacharyhansen8250 ??? He just said they are using skeletons off previous monsters? Of course that means their not new
@@tyrannoraptor9957 No I mean Garangolm just uses a modified Rajang skeleton and Goss Harag uses the same skeleton as the other "bear" shaped monsters.
I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure this is the case.
These new monsters were likely conceptualized and designed quite a bit before Rise's release anyway since Monster Hunter always has overlapping development time between games.
@@zacharyhansen8250 You are right, Goss uses the bear skeleton, so like Arzuros, Lagombi, etc. Garangolm uses the same Pelagus body that all the monkeys do, just with the arms going a bit wider
@@zacharyhansen8250 That may be the case. Goss Harag moves very differently to Arzuros and Lagombi, so rather than skeletons, maybe it might be an animation suite (though their proportions are quite similar).

A lot of yall don’t realize some of these new mechanics are present in the opening cg of previous games. Like the new blocking animation and sprinting while unsheathed was in the Dos opening.
