As reference by Balahara not seeming to have an Alpha and are otherwise individual monsters who sometimes collab together. In this vein I posit that the Yian Kutku instead exist in family-like flocks. Instead of being bossed around by and protected by an Alpha like the Doshaguma.
They were already confirmed in a clip from the gamescom gameplay actually, still, the question is, will the kick animation be back or not, kicking them out was the only "fun" thing about them

Y'know, rewatching this, I kinda feel like we're going to get some older gen mechanics returning, and that Arkveld is a origin species to Rey Dau. Given how borked evolution is in the Monster Hunter universe, the "chains" shortening down to the more blade extensions on Rey Dau's wings being done to give way to longer/more mobile horns to more accurately aim the stored/channeled lightning _is_ a reasonable evolution, especially when you look at the older origin species like Gureadomuso to Gravios
dynamic weather does singlehandedly offer new variety like environmental interactions, endemic life, and affecting weakness/ailments. its such a Monster Hunter thing emphasizing on a thriving world.

If this game is just as good as World is. They might do more DLCs for it rather than the 1 that they did for World, but we shall see. I'm just super hyped for this and I really do hope we see a lot more of the old cast of monsters get a HD remaster.

A friend of mine played MonHun 1 long time ago, and it was the first monster that a ever saw. Coudn't help but to fall in love with what I was seeing, and got to play myself. After Velocidrome and Cephadrome, he was a biiiig step up in so many ways. I love a lot of monsters, but Kut-Ku is my oldest and dearest friend. Since I saw Garuga in world, and the similar model and moveset, I knew his return wasn't long, and it's returning with style, with the gang. Long live Yian Kut-Ku... well, until the release... then a lot will die😢.
