India is not for beginners... Though once you get used to it, it has one of the most breathtaking beauty, large variety of beautiful landscapes, amazing food, rich culture, friendly people... Go easy and try visiting places other than Taj Mahal.... Taj Mahal has became so boring...

Taj mahal is not boring to first timers. Indians who have been there many times may be bored.
It's worth a visit for every tourist. 😄
      Don't miss it.
But an honest tip for hindu temples. Many functional temples do not allow foreigners inside. Go for the ASI protected architectural temples that are open for all tourists.

When visiting China, wouldn't you want to explore Beijing or Shanghai?

The fact that you put that thumbnail and expect more views, most foreign vloggers are bad at this. Put some fancy areas so we dumb people will watch.

What is the problem with the thumbnail? It’s true I saw cows & autos on street, it’s my impression.

    • @vedants.vispute77
      @vedants.vispute77 10 місяців тому +2

@@project_whereYes i know, but for the sake, think about why would we want to see something that we normally see everyday. I am not an hater, i am just suggesting you to make thumbnails that people would click. Mega Cities in India give a very bad impression. Cows are considered as mothers in India because, they milk humanity after infancy. Definetly as our country would develop, we will have to build walking ramps for the cows to cross the street lol.. Anyways love from India😅❤

    • @project_where
      @project_where  10 місяців тому +1

@@vedants.vispute77 Hey thanks for your feedback, appreciate it! As you mentioned this is sth that you locals see everyday, but for us foreigners it was something special to see that we would never see in any other countries. We don’t only make content for local Indian audience but more so to introduce india to overseas international audience which is why I show everything in the video.
When we put cows or Tricycle, it doesn’t mean something bad or being stereotypical. It is just my opinion from a foreigner perspective that is something so interesting and a highlight for me. Hope you understand 🙏

Avoid going to Delhi or Mumbai. They are very crowded and not very safe . They can be exhausting. India has many beautiful places outside of these big cities. But many foreign tourists go to these crowded places. If you want a peaceful and quiet destination, consider visiting the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. You can fly there from major cities. It boasts some of the most beautiful beaches in India and is very safe. You should also explore Ladakh, Meghalaya, Kerala and Sikkim in India. Just look online, and you'll see how stunning these places are. India has more than 60% of the Himalayas. Any lovely valley or village in the Indian Himalayas is much better than the crowded big cities

Plan according to what is your particular interest and itinerary. If you are intetested in mughal history, go to Delhi, Lucknow, Agra. If you are interested in colonial history go to Kolkata. If you are interested Rajasthan history go to Rajasthan. You want to see temples go to Orissa, Gujarat, MP, TamilNadu.
Interested in archaeology go yo Kailash temple, and othe cave temples, Unakoti, Bhaja, Karla, Bhimbedka etc
Similarly you can plan on nature, treks, forests, beaches, desert, river cruise, backwaters, delta, snow, etc.
India offers somethinh for everyone with different taste

One of the most annnnooooying thimgs i experienced in India when visiting is the consistency of people wanting to take a selfie with you!
I have no idea why this country is obsessed with taking photos, esp if you sre female - which is really uncomfortable when men gather around you eanting to take sefies and try touching you.

well they do it with locals too they are not trying to make you uncomfortable they are just happy that people are visiting their country their cities as most west media portrays India very negatively and in India if you just ask them that you are feeling uncomfortable they will go away
as in our country we have female goddesses and when a female is born in family we say it is goddess Laxmi who came to live with us herself

Tourists are also obsessed with taking photos with locals. So it's a give and take .
You take their photo mostly without asking them, they take your selfie, not photo, but they ask you first and then take a photo as an evidence that you were taking photos of local areas 😉

If you are uncomfortable, so are they... so most of the time their selfie is an evidence that you were taking photos in sensitive areas

You have accused me based on nothing. I and several people, who were with me, were constantly bombarded with people wanting to take selfies,.
This happened often! What the difference in India to other places is how crowds surrounding you, esp male crowds who close on in groups if you are female - they just swarm around trying to put their hands on women wanting to take selfies.
If and when tourists did want to take photos an introduction and permission is usually asked first - yet this is common practice for most travellers around the world, not crowds gathering around you touching you, while people constantly stair and even follow you for a selfie or some more perverted reason as it happens in India.
You can just YT here and see the many videos regarding this issue of visitors, esp women, getting surrounded with groups of selfies obsession crowds.

@@techknow9237 i have not accused you. I have stated an observation of human behaviour. When you are in a foreign land and culture, respect the ppl for your own safety.
Locals have started doing exactly what the tourists are doing.
Tourists with camera are viewed as "wannabe papparazzi". If you want to take photos of ppl, do you always take permission??
If you are randomly taking vdo of ppl, then it can backfire. This has led to animosity.
In every culture there is a sensitivity. Japan is now taking action and banning camera weilding tourists from Gion kyoto.
So if anyone treats the locals as novelty... the similar can happen to them.
You are as strange, as foreign or outlandish to them, as they are to you.
If tourists take photos of unsuspecting locals, they feel this type of behaviour is okay... you have shown them the way... that its okay to take photos of or with ppl.
tourists have set an example... that it's okay to take selfies, interview ppl, take vdos randomly while the locals are bathing, or eating or begging, sleeping on the pavement or cooking by the road... or just going about their business ... there is no concept of consent or human dignity.
Many of the content creators never blur the faces of street children. Poverty porn attracts more views and likes and gives a moral high to visitors of developed nations.
      Most Indians understand this now.
Every action has a reaction. If you say no, they might go away. Or you can contact the police. The police will ask you to shut down your camera as well.
But look at the larger behavior of tourists. Some of them treat locals as zoo animals. Tourists have been coming to India since past several decades... so now ppl are getting wary or irritated... and it backfires.
If you are taking photos of locals and putting them up on social media, they can back check it. Thet keep a tab whether you are taking the vdo to denigrate and diss the local culture or just observe it as an onlooker.
They take selfies to keep evidence... of you and your channel.
Once you are popular in social media you cannot hide from ppl.
