This is an amazing video, the way that parts of BM and kaido represents warped versions of Luffy ( BM gluttony & equality, kaidos warped way of creating "smiles" ) I really wish oda gave kadios backstory more time to shine, it had so much potential, but hey man what can you do. let's just hope this doesn't happen later on in the series

In Kaido and BM defense, what could they have even done to progress towards One Piece? They had no way to locate poneglyhs or to read them. I wonder what exactly were they even planning to do with their alliance; they said they are after ancient weapons, but do they even know where any of them are? Not everyone is as lucky as Luffy to find Robin and 3 road poneglyhs in 2 years without even actively trying to. Kid and Law got nothing and Roger spent at least 13 years actively searching for poneglyhs and ways to read them.
In the real world, chances are, you won't beat the odds, like Luffy did. If you already have power, the politics in the OP universe can be pretty close to real life counterparts. If you have that power to begin with.
I still believe that Katakuri and his triplets are Kaidos kids, after all he was still on Rocks ship with Lin Lin or they just maybe Newgates kid and Weevil being a defective clone or defective artificial child using his and Stussy’s dna

Well in theory, all the Yonko owns poneglyph. Just fight a yonko crew.
And BM had Pudding who might be able to read Poneglyphs once she awakens her third eye.
