never get tired of seeing TNB, always blows my mind how you can just make 10 decks that even function I've made exactly one deck in my life and it ended up being a meta staple back in innistrad LOL haven't hit that same high since
My friend is trying to build mono green for SCG Atlanta so thanks for the deck inspiration! Also, as a Selesnya player, seeing the scales-less scales deck pop off was so satisfying.
hmm i wonder if volatile fault is worth playing over demolition field, the marginal upside of it being a cave synergizes with spelunking in the aggro matchup and seeing as this deck already runs 4 glimpse the core maybe gives it some funny utility against decks with greedy mana bases? not like this deck is hurting for mana either so not replacing with a basic not such a downside. Oh and you can sac the treasure to fountainport!
It’s a tough world. Hard to play ramp without board wipes, hard to play elf with board wipes. You made a good deck though! It’s unfortunate nothing like that is good enough anymore. Too much critical mass of draw for everything.
Nice vid love the content Jim ! 19:12 I feel like this statement has become the norm since foundation, there are way too many 2 card combos in standard in my opinion. Even if they're not the most competitive, and can easily be distrupted by a removal (exept the doomsday one wich is pretty brutal) it does feel really bad to either get hit out of nowhere by one even if you where wining, and or just having to constantly leave mana up for removal at all times because if they cst the one spell ur dead. 2 card comboa are fun, but again too many of them in standard and it just makes the lader meta unfun imo. What are your thoughts?
Hot take, that mill demon is the most unfun card in the format. Everytime I lose to that card it’s so incredibly frustrating, minimal play around potential.
@ playing the worlds decks, nice try though. Being down to six cards in library means you need a board state that’s already winning. If you’re behind, the demon is the nail in the coffin.
@@greener_gaming2932If you're behind and your opponent resolves a 6 drop that they had to contort their mana base to play, that probably should be a nail in the coffin.
It definitely feels awful to lose to, but honestly I dislike mill Jace more. I don't think either are overpowered, and the combo is fine, but the demon is at least kinda cool to play against if the game is close.
Me smiling youve finally done an updated mono green deck.... we want moar greene !

this is the best argument for volatile fault i’ve ever heard, would love to see how this deck plays with it
TNB is my favorite thing to watch from each set release! Thanks for all the hard work and entertainment!
I got real hyped when you drew that big ole dino!

Comment for Karn getting a quick 30 sec extra butt scritches
mossborn hydra would be awesome in your deck jim. you have like 3 landdrops in each of your turns :D
Sparkles.

I want to sneak cityscape leveler or some other fatty boom booms into this list. Maybe a more beans forward list

Yessss
This might be just me, but when a 2-color deck casts a BBBBBB card on curve, the mana in that deck might be a little too good.
I think the problem is that this deck is both threat light AND answer light. Your opponents have all the time in the world to goldfish and find a win.
Where is the Genesis Wave?

Play better decks ?

@@rekenner Sooo much this 😂😂😂
It’s kind of sad when Jim starts losing games and tilts, then complains like a child in a candy store..
