    This area is so lively and fun. The amazing part is NO scammers on the street with so many people on the streets. That makes the time more relaxing and enjoyable. Enjoy your adventures in China, it has a lot to offer, as long as you take the politics out of the conversations. Have a good trip, Big Man.

    Great video! Thanks Chris!❤ I'm a Chinese living in LA for over 10 years now. I love both the States and China. They are just simply different, and there shouldn't be an argument which one is good or bad. Especially there shouldn't be hatred between the two peoples. There are CCTVs everywhere in China, sure... on the other hand, my house in LA was burglarized twice in the last 7 years, and we live in a pretty good neighborhood...😢 Enjoy your trip of the best a country can offer!

The Chinese Government's promise to the Chinese people to make China the most peaceful country in the world, to make China to most prosperous country in the world and the Chinese people the happiest people in the world. No western leader is going to make these promises to their electorates let alone succeed !

      In some ways more freedom, others less. Depends on states/provinces as well. The difference is they are more blatant than the US.
      The United States is essentially controlled by the same people who control China and used it to weaken the US while enriching themselves.
      In China, it's the CCP... In the US we are being forced privatized socialism because its historically unpopular to voters, and we are a different test group.
      Let's be honest, the freedom of speech in the US is a force and places like England are not even pretending when they arrest someone for calling a police horse gay or for making other statements on social media.

      Freedom is subjective, theres no "true" freedom anywhere, its always limited by law by every country; You even have conservatives of the west wanting a dictatorship under conservatism, under their flavor of freedom, which they wont argue against, its like the chinese, its their own flavor(but you can't argue against "gov" if they do anything bad to you).
      In chinese social media, they have been prety vocal about a lot of things, exposing lot of bad stuff, from fake food, to money to jobs, to housing, homeless, healthcare, etc, as society issues the CCP isnt helping them with. Considering western big giant business's pulled out of their country and their business; theres a lot of rebelling with their youth(as theres no jobs for their graduate degrees), and older generation where social programs arent helping much, and lot of business's going under. Their crazy shop lifting aunties "karens" are prety funny in china, feel bad for them but, considering they old and don't care.
      Its like Russia, sure you'll have their main city where their rich kids and well off russians are doing fine.. but once you start looking onto the outer skirts, then you'll see issues, the longer you stay.
      And since china is 1 billion people... theres no way a society like that can sustain itself for a long time; theres gonna be issues as time moves forwards. I think these are the issues we are seeing today, which younger liberal chinese are facing and protesting against their gov and older;
      On youtube we have the freedom to critize anyone or any country and our own country and have a opinion and be "unique" personality, instead of generic obeying personality which a lot of people have. Conservative socieities, never like anyone thats "different" or goes against them or their dictatorship, theres a reason why they heavily censor the internet and cut off any apps or youtube or outside internet to their countries, so they don't get any funny ideas of "freedoms".
      China blocks youtube for chinese, that already speaks for itself. As they have their own version, where its all 100% positive china.. And all 100% negative about the west..

And so one of the Seven Wonders (The Great Wall of China) + an unofficially wonder of modern engineering (Bird Nest Stadium). Sooo many museums and new attractions are added every single year. I can only imagine how this place will be in the 2030s.

    Hi Chris, Jing A beer is a local beer, but it was created by an American and a Canadian, but the first bar you chose was the worst one, there must be some reason why there are no customers in such a crowded place, in China the food is usually better in a restaurant with a queue. Usually the price of beer in the bar street is 30-50RMB, the price of beer in the ordinary restaurant is less than 20rmb, and the price of beer in the convenience store is about 1usd for 500ml. You like to drink beer, China is a paradise, you can use the mobile phone app to buy cold beer at the same price in the supermarket and deliver it to your home or hotel in 30 minutes. Enjoy your stay...😊
