My jaw dropped so many times in this run...un-be-LIEVE-able! I've seen many many runs of this addict..er game over the years but this takes the cake! I laughed at your 'water walking' in the room with the boss statues!
It's this trick called "Crystal Flash' where you have to have like 10 super missiles and 11 power bombs, etc and you hold down the L,R AB and down buttons (something like that) while a power bomb explodes and it refills your health to the max. Personalyl I think it's this near impossible to discover trick unless you read about it in the official players guide or (nowadays) on the internet somewhere.

Crocomire was actually just an innocent bystander of local fauna. He’s just hanging out in his cave drinking coffee when a space suited intruder breaks in and kills him.

I've played metroid for years, how'd he do the energy tank refill? Always wondered.
The wall jump mechanic always pissed me off playing this game as a kid. It would never work for me and take me forever to clear five feet up a wall.

yeah you're crazy, Crocomire isn't part of the statue leading to Tourian so it isn't considered an official boss (much like Spore Spawn)
