Great content. We were just commenting at the office how 365 has so many tools we don’t utilize; you hit on a few I can immediately see value in. I also picked up a couple tips on things we were already using like Planner and Booking. Thanks.
Andy, brilliant!!!! Warmest regards from Germany! In my job I struggle with notes including meeting notes. Searchability in the Notes App is ok. But not searchable in TEAMS. Teams Meeting notes are bloody not searchable in teams... unbelievable. 2 Topics: 1. Notes in general, 2. General searchbility of text incl. Stream transcripts in TEAM ( coolest thing ever)
Hi, thanks for your feedback. I can assure you Microsoft are working on this topic and you will soon be able to do searchable notes within teams. Watch out for this in the not too distant future. 👍
Great video man, thanks again!
Fantastic Andy, I like the Planner app from your 5 Hidden Apps🤩
Yay I’m delighted to hear that 😊
Thanks for the overviews of these apps. I picked up some ideas while watching.
Suggestion for improvement of a video such as this about apps: Prior to recording, determine which of the many functions you want to show viewers by writing an outline and rehearsing rather than randomly clicking around the screen and speaking on the fly, which appeared to be what was happening especially during the section on Whiteboard.
Always appreciate constructive feedback 👍
wouuuuuuuuuuuu excelente .. muchas gracias!!
Great video, thanks :)
The Bookings App is golden for me in the Financial Services industry.
Wow Andy! These are all so good and so well presented! Now have some new things to try out at work. Brilliant!
You’re very welcome, and thanks
For me, Sway is the best of Microsoft's 'hidden' apps. It is so easy to create a beautifully presented communication that can include text, images, video, audio and links. Even Microsoft seem to have forgotten about this wonderful app :(
Couldn't agree more!
Hi Andy.. Your vedios have been great help for all of us. Could you pls also make vedio on 365 certification from fundamentals to expert level and the requirements as well. Thanks in advance.
I did create a video on how to get certified awhile back. You might want to check that out. For full details on Microsoft certification visit learn.microsoft.com and simply select the career path that you’re interested in from there. All the materials are online and you can even book exams. Good luck and keep watching 😊
@@AndyMaloneMVP Thanks Andy🙂
Thank you. Very helpful
You're welcome!
This video is excellent, providing valuable information. Please continue creating more videos like this :)
Always 😊
Hey Andy,
My personal favorite is Microsoft Lists.
Me too👍
Thank you!!!
Hi Andy! 😊
Hi,
you did not take into account that not all versions of office 365 have these applications.
For the integrity of the material, it would probably have been appropriate to mention which versions have them and which do not!
I did mention this in the video. Business premium, E3&5
Interesting but I am not always clear what the apps are for at the start. I listened to the bookings explanation but am still not sure what I even need a bookings set up? For what? For whom? Where is it even used?
Great for small businesses who want to allow customer to book appointments.
New viewer.... I hope you find this criticism welcome and please accept it as it is *not* meant to be snarky or condescending.
It would be much more helpful if you described the name and purpose. FIRST.. and then how it 'might' be used.... before going through to show how to complete example tasks.
Your entire first example had me wondering what the heck you were doing, and why would I even 'want' to do it.
And then as I am writing this... I find myself wondering, how does this differ from using *Outlook* in a domain environment.
I am a 25 year IT veteran who has been working with Microsoft products since 1995... I typically work on the "back-end" but I do like to watch different methods of sharing my experience with those up-n-coming.
Cheers
You made some good points. Thanks for the great feedback. 👍
Is it ‘Tasks by Planner’ now?
How come in the TO DO app on the PC you can not copy task - to duplicate it. I can do it in Outlook tasks app And Cell phone app but the to do PC app will not allow me to do this. I have templates for repetitive actions - like onboarding new employees.
I'll be honest I've not used it. But I'll take a look :-) PS I use a Mac
great job Andy , your video ARE blillian , could you please share with us " yummer".
thanks
Thanks!
Thanks so much I appreciate that😊
Does each user need to have 365 Business Premium for these apps to work? For example, can users access and make changes to my Bookings app/page if they are not 365 BP users, or not even Microsoft users?
Yes they must. Can share with guests who can book you but not administrate users etc
Hi Andy, how do I enable my office 365 add-ins?
From the Office Portal, click Apps, Get more Apps. If you have permission, this is where you'll find them :-)
The 365 I have does not contain any of the apps as you have discussed. Maybe regional limitation?
This demo was from an E5 license. If you have small business or home additions, these apps may not be included.
@@AndyMaloneMVP Thanks for letting me know, you are correct. It would assist in your video to state only for E5.
Interesting
I didn't see bookings on my surface go 3 😢😢
It’s a web app: or you don’t have a licence for it
I have the home license.@@AndyMaloneMVP
Isn’t Delve supposed to disappear ? Great feature but very unknown…
Totally agree but what started as an app has now become a much more integrated set of features that are in other apps.
Suggestions has two ‘Gs’
😩🤪
I do not have NEARLY that many apps and virtually none of the ones you demonstrated
You must have a limited licence or your admin is restricting them
Are you related to Mary Poppins?
🤣😂
Thanks for the video. You should do a better job of "explaining" what the apps "are for"...they all seem interchangeable.
Maybe you forgot to mention in the title or very beginning that this only applies to organizations (work / school) and not individual Microsoft 365 accounts so that you wouldn't waste viewers' time?
Hi, thanks for the comment, in fact, all of my videos for organisations, not individuals and generally cover enterprise versions of the products.
Yes, genuinely good 16 minutes wasted.
@@AndyMaloneMVPAnd you didn't think to mention it?
@@garyrowe58 Hi Garry all of my videos focus on business and enterprise not home users. Have you tried Kevin Stratvert He focusses on end users. Good luck.
It's clickbait. He's required to do it.
And get hacked…. Ms is utter crap
