I found it a little annoying how some of the Beatles expected them to easily give up their careers, their dreams. These women worked just as hard to accomplish what they had and what they were striving for. I feel like the boys should've been equally as supportive and willing to lift them up, you know? :,)
True. But these guys were really young and raised to think that women wanted to be housewives. Mccartneys mum worked full time as a midwife but the family never really caught a break financially. If she had lived, Mccartneys gift would be to get her to give up work and buy her a big house as he did with his dad. Also, no relationship could survive the Beatles years.
@@rosiebottom3870 Yeah, you're right. They grew up in a different period and was surrounded by old-fashioned ideals. But they were also living in a more progressive time, both musically and socially. I just would've thought that a group of people that represented a time of change would've also embraced newer ideas. Does that make any sense?
Things have changed in 65 years. Plus, Paul and John ended up having their wives on stage with them. How George ever lost interest in Pattie is beyond me, she was beautiful and interesting. She got the band into meditation, a very positive influence and it helped steer them away from drugs. Such is life.
@@Mandrake591 he grew beyond her. George, as dear as he was, was a really complicated person, sometimes like a monk, others like a wild man. How could Pattie have been happy with such a volatile man? Also he wanted kids and there were none.
I read in One of The Beatles books that when Paul and Linda were with wings and on their concert tour I think in '76, they were in the town that dot and her husband had moved to in America. I'm thinking it was Seattle or Portland possibly. Paul got in touch with her and gave her tickets and backstage passes and Paul and Linda picked her up in a limo and took her to the show. Afterwards all Dot could think was thank goodness we broke up because that is not a life I would have wanted to lead. She said Paul and Linda were wonderful with her but she wouldntt want to live in the spotlight like he was in. Nice to know she had no regrets.
Outstandingly well researched. Glad you mentioned Dot. There isn’t a lot of material on her out there and I’ve wondered whatever happened to her in later life. Pattie, Yoko, Mo, Jane and Linda are very well documented, but there are a lot of rumors about them that may or may not be true or exaggerated. You cleared up some of them. The life of a Beatle girl was definitely not easy.
correct, I am glad you mentioned that to Emma, if no one else had, I was going to bring it up. Yes, it was Frankie Schwartz who had short black hair, more like a "Beatles Cut"
When I first started diving into the Beatles, I became enamored with Astrid Kirchherr and her relationship with Stu and the early early Beatles. Great video, I am not as strong as these women to live the crazy life of a Beatles girl
She’s somewhat of an honorary Beatles girl but I feel like she was more of a collaborator. Anyway I’ve always been deeply fascinated by her. I couldn’t sustain a Beatles Girl life either… thanks for the kind words dear 💌
Very nicely done but some errors regarding Jane and Paul. Jane did not find Paul in bed with Linda Eastman. It was brunette Francis Schwartz. He and Linda did not marry until March of 1969.
Thank you so much for your video here! I learned so much about the Beatles' wives, and the Beatles themselves! I don't know how old you are, but I am almost 65, a life long Beatles fan, but you certainly are worthy of a Beatles fan! It is such a pleasure to see younger generations loving the Beatles as I do! Your video is Outstanding ❤! Please showcase other videos on the Beatles! I can't wait lol !
I really enjoyed this video! It seems very funny to me that all of the girls look so much alike, they could all be sisters! Maybe its the fashion but i have trouble distinguishing them, amazing video as always Emma❤
It was Francie Schwartz, an American scriptwriter, that was found in bed with McCartney, not Linda. Francie wrote about her relationship with Paul in a book in 1972. She appears in a video with Paul in the recording studio, with Paul playing and singing Blackbird if my memory serves me right. The video can be found on UA-cam.
Very lucky to survive riding a motorcycle in to a brick wall!😮. It must have been an almost otherworldly experience to be a partner of a beatle back in the day!.Enjoyed the video and Well done with keeping your composure when the drilling began🌟🙋♂️
Regarding the parcel you send: can you write me an email or DM me on Instagram? The post office sent it straight back because of some issue they were having
Jane told journalists that she knew Paul was faithful; many have pointed out a woman so intelligent could not have believed this. I also read and am inclined to believe, that Martha My Dear is NOT about Paul's dog but a "back at you" (at long last) affair Jane had. Far from freaking out, Paul wrote "when you find yourself in the the thick of it, help yourself to a bit of what is all around you, silly girl. Take a 'good' look around you." It almost seems he was willing her to decide if he was really the one, lol. And after another infidelity, on his part, he wasn't. 🤣 I don't think many young men could have stayed 'true.' Or women, for that matter, during Beatlemania. There are human limits! Excellent video. (The Beatles trip to Greece was in '67, before the start of the White Album sessions.) 🤣
Hello again. I read, and l belive is in a huge Beatles doc. That the wedding of beautyful George n Patty, was THE weding of the year. A huuuuge gisnt party, with all the Stars..and that was from minister for foreighn affeirs of the Beatles..cant remember his name...😅 Xxxx
The affair during the lost weekend, yoko set up John with may pang! Yoko was may pangs boss, her being Yoko’s secretary and asked her to be with him and look after him after she kicked him out.
Okay i love this video but theres a big error i have to correct! Jane found Paul in bed with Francie Scwartz. Francie was one of several side girlfriends paul had while dating jane, including Peggy Lipton and Maggie McGivern. Paul was extremely unfaithful to Jane and did cheat on her with Linda, but he didnt get officially together with Linda until almost year after jane had broken things off with him.
Good effort. A couple of points of I may?…it wasn’t Linda that Jane Asher caught with Paul in ‘68, it was a girl called ‘Francie Schwartz’. Also..the George & Maureen fling was in ‘73/‘74. Otherwise. Keep up the good work and glad you appreciate the Beatles and their muses. All the best.
HOW LOVELY OF PAUL TO PHONE CYNTHIA AFTER THEIR DIVORCE & KEEP IN TOUCH & WRITE HEY JUDE FOR JULIAN...NOW IT MAKES SENSE..."REMEMBER TO LET IT INTO YOUR HEART & YOU BEGIN TO MAKE IT BETTER BETTER BETTER" THE WORDS GO...MEANING JULIAN MUST LET HIM MUM CYNTHIA IN AND TALK ABOUT THE PAIN OF LOSING HIS DAD DUE TO DIVORCE...HOW CARING PAUL WAS...KNOWING WHAT ITS LIKE TO LOSE A DAD... AW BLESS HIM...
Yoko completely did a mind job on Lennon. They couldn't even split up without her choosing who he'd be with in the meantime. She had him by the psychological short and curlies.
Hello beautyful friend . How could You NOT know about Dot. I mean She and Cynthia were wisiting the boys in Hamburg..Im not sure, but I belive, that Georgie was also with Dot for some time.. Bw from Ljubljana XXX. R
If Dot (you kept saying Dod) was important, you didn't even mention Astrid - who played a HUGE part in Beatles Hamburg history. As she became the live in serious girlfriend of Stu, she gave them their famous hairstyle. So much more about the part she played but you don't even mention her!!! As for Yoko, John started his affair with Yoko long before Rishikesh!
It looks like she’s focusing on just the main 4’s relationships during the band. She’s obviously saying Dot but with an accent I don’t get why you’re being rude.
@thiccwalrus5602 It says Beatles girlfriends and wives. STU was a Beatle and Astrid played a bigger part in the early development of the Beatles than any one of the Beatles women mentioned. What's so rude about that?? How sensitive!!! As for the accent, I'm not the only commenter who's mentioned it!!
This is not correct. Jane didn't catch Paul in bed with Linda Eastman. She caught him in bed with writer Francie Schwartz. Paul and Linda's relationship began after his breakup with Jane.
What is this McLennon crap and that they were gay? Really? 60 plus years later people have to talk about or make up this stuff? To me it will always be Lennon-McCartney. They were two young British lads having fun, with their quirky humor, and at the top of there world. Jane and Patti inspired some of their most amazing songs. I love the fact that you are young and take interest in The Beatles, thank you. I was 4 years old when I first saw them on the Ed Sullivan Show and was smitten.
Waaay too many mistakes!! Cynthia only took a brief trip to Hamburg to visit John. They had a couple of "quickies" and she returned back on the train. Meanwhile they were all sleeping with many girls, even prostitutes. George even lost his virginity to a pro. John always had different girls. Cynthia was naive. What's this about she supported them every step of the way?? She was living off John's money every step of the way! As for the little flat they stayed in, in London, you did not mention Brian Epstein owned it and lent it to them. She never worked a day when she was married to John. Her life was having holidays and playing house.

Jane Asher had beauty, intelligence, and class. She wasn't going to put up with Paul's cheating.
