I changed my religion to Buddism because I find being a Buddhist is very peaceful. I have so much peace inside of my heart like I never had before. I also have so much love for other people as well by being more helpful too. I love being a Buddhist.

Focusing on this very moment to get the best of it, that inspires me and put my mind at ease. I also forgive myself for what wrongs I did to myself and to the others trying the best I can not to do the same mistake twice. Eventually, I found peace in Buddha’s teachings.
    Thank you Ven. Nick.

I ran my first marathon last Saturday and monks and Buddha were with me all the time. It is a similar effort to this but lay people weren’t so kind to me. Almost twice I got run over by a car intentionally but I am getting used to this kind of people and being a Buddhist I am not afraid of death. So also my huge respect to lay people in Thailand. If I could I would hug them all!! We Europeans have much much more to learn dough we sometimes think we are the smartest in the world.

13:24. “The endurance, strength and stamina displayed by the monks produces a new form of energy. We call it hope.” The lay practitioner thinks, “If they can do all this, then surely I can meditate longer than my usual 15 minutes. I’m *sure* I can!” And there is the hope the lay practitioner takes away with him or her. I can see this will be a powerful motivational tool for many people, not just myself. Thank you for this beautiful gift.🙏🙏🙏

I am full admiration for these bikkhus and novices. It is also moving to see the lay people, and their reaction to to this awesome sight. Their simple faith is evident on their faces, something we sophisticates can only dream of. It's nice , different & interesting event, I ever seen.. thanks for recording & sharing with us.
Initially when I was not aware of Dhamma, light in the darkness was my HOPE & FIGHTING capacity..
But when I merged with Dhamma , rather dissolved in Dhamma , darkness turned into light automatically... There is No space for darkness . Dhamma shows you impermanent nature of every thing around you. So there is no darkness or no light as fixed concept ... What remains is only stillness, peace, happiness , trance, tranquility in every situation...... Which has neither dark shade or light shade .... It's merged with everything . Anatta....upecca....
METTA to all lovely people. 🌷

thank you Nick, you are already contributing a lot, I am reading some tipitakas and working on meditation, it will be great, if you can interview 20+ years experienced Monks, I too am in California, but I cant find any help and guidance in bhuddhism... please keep this up, you are awesome ...also if possible make more meditation technique videos that we can practice everyday...
