Hi just fitted this to my e90 everything works fine apart from when I open the door it shows me the opposite door example open driver door the display shows passenger door. I’ve been through the settings 100 times and I can’t forget this out. Any help would be much appreciated.
Hi, it’s not a fault with your unit as mine does the same. I tried many way to get the correct door to show but I believe it’s how they set it up in the factory. I don’t really notice it now as I know which door is open & use it for a reminder.
There is a setting to swap the left right door. If I remember right, it is in the factory setting -> tyre swap setting. You just have to toggle it . I not sure why it is call "tyre swap", but it works.
What ever the delivery say, you can usually add another week or 2. All tax & delivery charges were included in this purchase. I have also added a cluster update video to show how easy they are for future updates.
HUD doesn't work with these. I've seen listings for various versions of the same product for different sellers, and they all state for BMW F30 if you have HUD it won't work with this.... I suspect it's the same for your F36. Tempted to get one of these for my F30 335D.
My Supra instrument cluster is getting replaced now and they have had trouble figuring it out. Not even the tech knows exactly what to do. I’m assuming it’s some simple integration step
Unfortunately not. If your unit come with three themes, it would need adding via the manufacturer. As yet I do t know of any releases for themes but maybe in the future. This update is for the car info screen only.
I love this display! The ID4motion is restricted to paying big money to get the themes that are worth having & require a lot more cutting with the dashboard to fit. This cluster has no cutting of dash (just 2 lugs behind) & comes with great usable themes. I’ve also done the first update which is free & gives some nice touches to the boot up screen. Video to follow soon on this.
@@woodellareche2264 there are 4 themes that come pre loaded with the dash. I’m not sure if there will be any more to follow with updates at the moment.
Personally prefer the classic dashboard look for the E89. But looks like solid for an aftermarket product

I think gasoline RPM is the default at the moment, but can't I set RPM for diesel?

Are you able to see the oil level?
Yes oil level can be display all the time or switched off. I leave mine on so as soon as oil reaches temp, the display shows level.
When you reinstalled the new one did you need to code the cluster/Gauge or do anything with the cars computer or was it just plug and play?

The one I purchased was plug & play. Check with the supplier to see if they set it up for your car.
The oil temperature only shows up to 100 degrees, is there a setting?
No, there are no settings to adjust the read out from the car. Maybe it’s a temperature sensor ?

Yes sport mode shows on the screen when you select it.
