This record got stomped on july 12 2019. Delo used a glue they created that lifted and held a 17 ton crane. They used 5 grams of glue and stuck two pistons together and used a crane to lift the other crane. Somebody tried this on a dodge pickup with a safe in the back and did a great job of altering its appearance. The after market steel i beam looked nice installed across the top, windshield and hood.
Would have been funny if when they drank champagne the glasses stuck to their mouth.

I used Loctite on a broken Foot Peg on my Kawasaki Ninja ZX14R earlier this year. Because it was Alum it couldn't be welded so I tried Loctite and it held my weight on it for a good 3 weeks of hardcore riding! Amazing stuff! Ill back your product all day long for it keeping me riding while waiting! Big Thumbs Up!!!

I have always trusted Loctite in my automotive career
So if u have a humidity controlled envirement with a fog machine to help with curing and a hydrolic press to clamp your freshly cleaned, perfectly smooth pieces together, your going to have great results.

Try anything with acetone in it...nail polish remover is a good bet!
If you want to prove it, maybe have less cuts in your demo, and actual show a pan to the glued object and the thing its holding.

These weren't exactly measured drops. Some of them looked excessively generous. I'd say this is closer to 18 drops than 9. I think most people would be happier with half the tensile strength and twice the shearing strength. After all, shearing and cracking is the main reason why super glue ultimately fails down the line.
They obviously cheated, it was the sticker they put on it that held the whole thing together.

Not really, because they've used a hydraulic press that has made these 9 drops to spread across the whole surface. More would've been excessive.
What was the curing time? I want to glue metal hooks to the roof of my truck (metal on metal) to hold a tarp in high winds.. will it work?
+cyberpine rule of thumb, give everything atleast 24hr to cure like glue, superglue, epoxy and sealants, but superglue should cure within minuets to a few hours.

Sorry but I don't believe this for a second. What's the weight it's lifting....about 3 tonnes or more with a few drops of super glue between metals. Nah. No chance. The glue on a metal flat surface has nowhere too grab and the strength of the glue compound itself would never take that weight.
