In my opinion, variegated plants are always worth it. It’s always so much fun seeing what the new leaves will look like. Plus, they keep you on your toes by threatening to revert every so often. You have to prune and propagate to keep them looking stunning. They aren’t just beautiful but a little bit of a challenge to keep them balanced. Love it.
Really enjoy these types of videos. Always good to know how these plants are in a collection and if they are worth the price & hype. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on your favorites
Yep, I enjoyed. It's sort of like a plant tour but with more time for each plant. I love Chiapense so much that I have two! One of mine is on a plank and the leaves are the size of a football. It's under my Soltech solutions light and it is very happy there. I don't dare move it.
Being a plant enthusiast myself on a smaller scale (I only have around 10 total), but I like to grower plants that are not so run of the mill. For instance, I have a Traveler's Palm (Ravanala Madagascariensis), 2 Plumerias (out of an original 4) I grew from cuttings I bought from a grower off of Etsy, 4 Desert Roses (Adenium obesum) I ordered online as well. The remaining plants are: an Echeveria (Perle Von Nurnberg) that I've had success propogating and a 3 clump Strelitzia reginae (orange Bird of Paradise). Keep up with the great vid's. I enjoy watching them. Take care, happy planting, and Merry Christmas! 🪴🌴
Yes, please do another episode. So enjoyable to watch! Thank you. I agree with all your comments. I was happy to hear that the Hoya Sunrise is a fast grower. I plan to order one in the Spring to give it a better shot at survival. So far I’ve only had great experiences with plant mail but I admit I only order Spring through June and then September through mid October, depending on where they’re shipping from.😊. Loved this video! 👌🪴🥰
I cannot for the life of me get my Hoya Sunrise to grow! :-( Glad yours is doing great! By the way I put my philodendron camposportoanum on a moss pole and it took off growing like crazy and getting beautiful large leaves! Such a great plant!
I love your channel. Very informative. I have a philodendron goeldeii. I don't hear very much about them. Do you have one and can you share info about them?
Hello I was just checking out your video and seeing all of your plants and you were talking about the philodendron and how you give them away and I was wondering can I get a cutting I'm trying to start over with my plants I recently got sick about 2 years ago and that's part of my therapy my happy place is trying to work with plants and I was wondering may I get a cutting of your philodendron the one you said that grows fast?

Philodendron "Jose Buono" has been one of my favorites. Fast growing and doesn't get brown edges and beautiful variegation.

The Camposportoanum gets even better leaves when mature. If you Google images you can see the progression from juvenile to maturity
