My mom brought me back what i now know is a syngonium batik from Puerto Rico a few years ago. Literally ripped it out of the ground and smuggled it back to Oregon in her suitcase. That plant has become the weed of my collection, growing so fast and big that it's quickly overtaking the shelf its on. I named it The Hydra, because every time I cut it back it's like "lol bet" and spits out another five leaves. Absolute menace.
this is my favorite plant channel because Ashley isn't annoying. My husband things I should have a plant channel (only 60 plants) but I 'm sure I would be annoying.
I got a 6" philodendron micans for 12.98. I like the syngonium batik. I have the 3 kings and I like that the variegation is stable. I also have a pink syngonium but I don't like how the pink color fades out. I also prefer syngonium that aren't travelers like the pink. It was invading the other plants in my room
Loving discovering cool euphorbia and jungle cacti. I was really into aroids and Hoya but finding a whole new world out there. Great time to be a collector!
I love your videos. They always make smile. I never thought I'd want a silver sword until i saw it in person at Home Depot. Loved it and it was under $10. Last night i found a pinecone cactus at Trader Joes for $8 and couldn't resist.
I've found at my local Lowe's most recently a silver sword but also a fuzzy petiol and a gloriosum all of them under $10! I was really excited to find these beauties! I also found a pink princess at Walmart! 😊
Hey Ashley, just want to let you know Godleys garden shop in Salisbury NC has a large table of African violets regular and miniature size and quite a few beautiful variegated reg and min size. You need to check it out. By the way love all your downloads especially Big Bloomers and Raleigh farmers market. Keep them coming.😊
Hi Ashley, Fun video as always! Per your question, please do another. Love seeing pretty plants at great prices.🥰. This time of the year I’m spending more time outside gardening, however, I still spend a good bit of time on my houseplants. Loved all the plants you shared. Thank you! 👌🪴🥰
Yes. More please! I’m starting to see plants I haven’t before, but not at that low of a price, yet. We seem to be a little bit more expensive here in the Dallas area. Still on the hunt for an El Choco Red or a Dark Lord. Never have seen them in the wild.
Wow!!! It’s awesome how the prices have come down. That variegated goldfish plant is gorgeous. Reminds me of the variegated Hoya Bella. I’ll definitely be looking out for that one. Looking forward to part 2 😊
I know alot of alocasia are getting cheaper. I'm in southern alberta so alot of time its really expensive to get any more unique plants in my area. Ive recently found: dragon scale, silver dragon, zebrina, quilted dream, red cuprea, and more for $11Can, about the same size as yours was. Which is a pretty great deal here I think.
I would love to find a goldfish plant with the darker leaves! The orange flowers look so nice against those dark leaves. I don't think I've seen any since I saw them at a nursery in Virginia. Not sure if they don't do well in Florida, but I would love to have one again. The fish shaped flowers are so cute!
found an alocasia black velvet of the same size of your alocasia ninja for 5 euro’s in a little self-service plant shop where people can give their plants away/buy new ones. so happy with it because it’s been on my wishlist,
Hey Ashley I live in the UK I picked up a philodendron billatae for 15 pounds (18 dollars ) and a monstera obliqua Peru form for 30 pounds (33 dollars)
Last weekend I bought a ficus shivereana at a local nursery for $60. Yesterday, I found a ficus shivereana inside a Bella kokedama at Home Depot. I was shocked and instantly scooped it up.
I bought a Silver Sword Philodendron for $15.00 @ our local Lowes in North East Pennsylvania . They seem to be getting more different house plants in this year. Different/ kinda rare house plants are hard to find in this area. I love watching your video so i know what to look for and how to care for them.
Hi Ashley I live on the island of Rarotonga in the Cook Islands South Pacific.. we have tropical plants, I love succulents and enjoy when you show them on your trips to plant shops. We don't have many varieties here
I have found most of mentioned an for those prices or close!! I seen a firestick (pencil cactus) on videos. Showing waaaay expensive. Found one at my Walmart for $5!!!!! Of course I snagged that baby up an have on my porch! Wud love for u to do another of this particular video like u mentioned!
I recently bought from a large area nursery chain, a small leaved 5” pot of Cebu Blue Pothos, and a 5” pot of Brazil Pothos for $6.98 each. Also a 4” pot of Krinkle 8 Hoya and a 4” pot of a Crimson Princess Hoya for $5.98 each. I am always amazed at the expensive plants I find at this area nusery that are dirt cheap.
uh oh. here I was thinking I'm cured from wanting alocasia because I just don't have the humidity for them, nor do I like their growth pattern after a while, but OMG that ninja looks like an anthurium and now I want it 😅
Love watching your videos they are great and informative. I was wondering if you could do a video on African violets. I have just recently found a variegated African Violet and I am scared to do anything with it. I am also afraid it might die in the soil that it is in. I would love to see a video on how you care for them and how you would repot one and what you use for the soil. TYIA
Our box stores here have very small plant section and our 1 nursery is very expensive. I purchased 2 nursery plants at $35 each and the first one died and the other one is dropping its leaves so no more nursery plants for me
I'm from the Charlotte area, too. Please tell me where you are getting these goods prices. We went to Pike on Sunday and spent quite a bit. 😮🤣 Are there any other great nurseries in this area? (It's 3 hours to Big Bloomers so that might need to wait for a day trip.)
All beautiful 😍. Crazy to see prices dropping and now being able to buy plants you never thought you would be able to afford. I remember buying an 8 inch pot of Micans for $120 mid 2020🙄🤦🏽♀️🫣
Heyy french person here, yesterday i found a good sized alocasia polly at five euros in a discount supermarkert 🥲😃 and a huuuge philodendron red emerald at ten i was psyched
Would love a second video on the plants that prices have dropped. Specially since 2020

That's a great price for that Silver Sword, considering the size. You'd think it'd be much smaller for that price.
