    Do you have a full video on a Coverstar auto cover? If not I’d like to chat. I’ve got one shipping to me this week.

    How do you ground the cover motor? It has to be attached to the bonding wire around the pool correct?

    • @jonport_
      @jonport_  4 місяці тому

      Yes. As we go around the pool we loop in about a foot wire on each end with kit cutting it so we can attach it when we install the lost pour.

      Correct if it’s done the right way not with a plastic box but concrete the ground wire runs through the concrete box and grounds to the cover mechanism and from there across the stone brackets onto the other end and sometimes to the tracks

    I cannot stand coverstar. And I'm not even an Installer.

      Oh snap lol. What did they do to make you not like them?

      @@jonport_ finding parts, getting a call back from their commercial rep, the maintenence, and their techs are no where near what they were. On top of a months wait. Just not a fan for my area. It is nice when they function, but homeowners don't know what they are getting into. For my experience personally that's any auto cover.

      @@frankbottiglieri9793 haha. Funny you say that because left coverstar because of the same issues and used apc because of a local location they had and its been great. We started back using coverstar because our supplier sells them, we get points back, they matched the price of apc and we started a service and new install cover company because if the reasons you mentioned.
