this is insane! Spent hours trying to wrap my head around how to key correctly and then "aggressive mode" is basically the "make this look good" button lol. Thanks a lot
Bruh! I use 4-6 studio lights and you wouldn't believe how many hours I've still adjusted the Matte Gen & Matte Cleanup sliders in Ultra Key. I went so far as to use the Lumetri Color, HSL Secondary panel to isolate the chroma screen colors, even them out to a single tone of green, brighten and saturate it to try and pull a cleaner key. So much time spent in Ultra Key& Lumetri Color on soooo many projects! And here you go and show us how to pull a much cleaner key in 2 minutes! I just tried your method on a customer's curriculum project we were going to reshoot and I am pleasantly shocked by the results with so little effort! Workflow time cut by 75%! Count me in as a new subscriber...I'm a believer! (Nobody on YT talks about the "Aggressive" drop down). 🙏💪
I’m sorry to hear this couldn’t help you. I suggest you once try this again while attempting the drop tool on different places, specifically near the subject in the frame.
Just click around until it works?! This is horrible keying advice. Also the "pencil" tool as you say is called the "eye dropper" tool and that should have been my first clue that this is amateur advice.
Imo editing is all about getting the end result, so if clicking around like this results in what you need (for me it definitely sufficed) then whatever. And who cares if he has the wrong terminology, we can see what he’s doing. He helped me, and if he didn’t provide good info for you, maybe you should’ve just told him why it’s wrong, or keep it to yourself ❤
