I've been searching for a tutorial that covers all the things that I needed to do in order to perfect the green screen for my shorts. This is it! Thanks Gal
If you want to remove green screen in Premiere Pro, use the Ultra Key effect, but it isn't as powerful as the Keylight + KeyCleaner effect in After Effects, Plus After Effects allows you to download the free LightWrap plugin to better composite your subjects: productioncrate.grsm.io/lightwrap -- If you're still wanting to use Premiere Pro and get a Light Wrap option, you can use the BorisFX Continuum LightWrap effect, which comes part of the Key and Blend Unit (not free): bit.ly/KeyandBlendUNIT
Hi kelesy. Your explanation is very fun and beneficial, and I benefited greatly from it. However, I have a problem when I add the light wrap effect. It tells me that “Collapse Transforms” is not checked, and I can’t check it. I am using MP4 and PNG formats. What should I do? 6:53
@PremiereGal I'm so excited to use it. It's funny when you find out about new stuff and think "if I'd only known about that a couple of weeks ago for that one edit".
Hey gal! Just to note/add the absolute BEST Keyer we’ve tried is Hawaiki Keyer 5 (and we’ve tried a lot of them). That is ifya wanna stay in premiere pro when keying… but it smokes anything we’ve tried and has just as many controls as key light 👍
Will this only work for a single video, or can it be saved as a permanent background to be used for all of my videos? Afraid that once I create one I really like I'll have to do it for every subsequent video.
If your lighting is the same for all clips you can copy and paste the effects on all the clips or right click on the effect from Effect Controls and save as a preset
Thank you very much for your great videos. One can tell how much effort you put into them. I always enjoy watching your videos. I have a request - could you possibly show how you create the effects from 5:04 minutes to 5:17 minutes? That would be a huge favor for me 🙏🏻 Thanks in advance, and stay healthy!
either way its mindblowing how AI just came completely out of left field recently and changed workflow forever, I use it all the time now from thumbnails to a recent client video to make a cut down which wasnt wanting to scale into vertical nicely. Looking forward to the next few years of further development!@@PremiereGal
Heyyy! Loved your tutorial and your videos are awesome. Just wanted to chat about something. So, in that part where you used Keylight + Keycleaner + Spill Suppressor, I noticed the view is set to intermediate, not final. Here's the scoop: in the final view of Keylight, it bundles both Keycleaner and Spill Suppressor together. But in the intermediate view, you get to tweak them separately outside the Keycleaner. Those weird particles you saw? My guess is that Keylight's Keycleaner and the existing one clashed a bit. That's just how I see it, but hey, it works both ways, so all good! If anyone wants to jump in and share thoughts or correct me, drop a reply!
Hey! Thanks for pointing this out the Intermediate Mode made the Extra Edge look more spotty, but even in Final mode it created this extra halo wround my keyed subject, so turning it off in either mode you'll see the difference.
so!!! my wife and me we are ballroom dancing for 20 years...when people asking how you guys doing it...practice and more practice it took a lot of time to make it look easy...same what you try to do for you it is easy you lost me after the second click..the way you should show us is first time don't care about light or shadows just make your first removel..than do it again and again and again..i don't want to make look like hollywood video i just want to remove the backround
Hi Kelsey ! 🚨 ⚠ ( I hope I spelled your name correctly ) I'm about to watch your video, but I wonder where I can ask you a question ... here or on Twitter ? not sure, but here goes.... back a few versions ago, when you split up a video on your timeline, you could change the color of one of the snippits of that specific video into its own color..... but now - if you split a single video up on your timeline, and change the color of it, ALL the segments of that video also change color ! ..... why is this important ? .... when I edit a video, if that video is of a good length, I would snip it as I'm working and then change the color to green, telling me that this portion of the video is to my liking, and then I would move along the rest of the video, cut it where I needed, and changed the color.... now... this no longer works...... I wonder if you have noticed this, and have any idea how to revert to the older way that wouldn't change ALL trims of that single piece of video... ? anyway, thanks for your time I appreciate it ! ( edited to correct the spelling of Kelsey's name )
Are you talking about LABEL colors? I don't use Labeling often, but usually I select part and then only those I select change the label color. You can join our discord and ask our community channel for help if someone might know? premieregal.com/discord
@@PremiereGal Geez, that's really weird. I replied to this right after you had replied and my reply is not there. Here we go again LOL. Yuppers, I was talking about the label color. If you take a test video, just snip it into 2 pieces, now try and change the color of just one piece of that video, and you'll see that both pieces change color.
Hey@@FrostyTheBeerMan I just made a cut, and only changed the label color of one part, the other part of the same video still remained the original label color. So I'm not sure, because I'm not having the issue! Maybe post in the Adobe Forums perhaps someone that built Premiere Pro knows how Label Colors work and if there is a preference you need to turn on.
@@PremiereGal Hi Kelsey ! ahh thanks for doing that test for me ! Hmm..... I wonder why that's happening then, and thank you for the TIP ! I'm going to go post on the forums and see if it's just me, if it didn't happen to you, then maybe it's a setting I changed somehow. Thank you for your time doing that, I really do appreciate it ! Thanks ! 🙂
Please fix the vocal fry, it's getting worse over the years. The video content is great, but I can't get past the creaking voice. It's one American export the world is better off without.
Odd, most people comment that the voice is relaxing. It's not a concious thing, it's like telling someone to change their accent. It also has to do with breathing, something I forget to do 🤣 ua-cam.com/video/S0HCEEHvV7s/v-deo.htmlsi=94UoIUrO4dJfekkM

Just a little tip to make the light wrap really sell it precompose your background layer and change source on the light wrap to mask and effects.
Amazing Kels, adding the spilling light from the background is a killer move.
Totally, thanks to the Crate Team for making the Light Wrap.
@PremiereGal I'm so excited to use it. It's funny when you find out about new stuff and think "if I'd only known about that a couple of weeks ago for that one edit".

Ya the plugins for Pr are great, but for this I wanted to stick with free options with the creative cloud
@@PremiereGal gotya 👍 but as far as speed that Hawaiki Keyer is so fast. Just saves major time…
I really learned a lot of things with this video so far. Thank you so much!
The omg 😮 thumbnail 😵💫
This isn't omg, this is a screenshot from the video of me talking about the effect. 🤷🏼♀️
I just waited for the moment when you take your hat off ... you know, for the sake of realism 😁👍 Still, a very good tutorial, thank you!

how do you zoom in the project monitor in premiere like you do in aftereffects if you want to use scrollwheel or shortcuts?

Thank you for resolving my chroma cutting issue.
Happy to help!
How come the audio is so good 😊
Hi thanks for upload video
Can you tell me how to change colors 4 objects in video
I think you need to change your OBS screen recording settings.
? I don't use OBS.
