Great review Marc and very well explained. I can resonate with many of these things after being part of the first cohort. Those 4 weeks were intense but at the same time extremely valuable. It was an advanced course not just to publish video but leaving our comfort zone. Gold content, powerful lessons and practical tips. Being Live added the extra point. 🚀
Absolutely. My biggest critique was just the pace - attending 3x live sessions for 2 hrs plus completing all lessons in 4 weeks is a feat! Thankfully, can complete self paced later. :)
Love watching Ali and thanks for posting this. There is one thing about the monetization quote that I found interesting. Nick Nimmin advocates monetizing videos from day 1. Whether that's an email list that you're looking for or affiliate links. He always says that you never know when a video might take off and if it's an old one that you've not got something in to monetize then you're throwing money away.
I think this is actually the right perspective, even though Ali's has merits. esp. now that I'm pretty sure YT plays ads regardless of whether you've turned on monetization
