Hi Matt. Do you script your dialogue? When recording, do you have an auto cue? Do you edit the videos yourself or outsource this?

I bullet point script the videos, most are filmed by glancing and remembering, I have used auto-cue on a few, handy when I need to get lots of videos filmed in batch. Edit all myself so far, have tried out a few editors but not massively impressed.

@@MattBrighton thanks very much for the quick response. How long would it take you to edit a typical video, say 10 mins long? Do you have any videos on the camera and lighting that you use?

@@AURAArchitecture no videos from me unfortunately on gear. I shoot on a Sony A6400 with Sigma 16mm f1.4 lens.
Depends on the level of editing. Sometimes an hour editing per minute of video. However on my most recent ones I’ve kept the editing super simple with text and images nothing too fancy and can probably do 5 mins of video editing per hour

Hi Matt, stumbled across your channel today and really enjoying the content. Can you explain your 9-5 job a bit more/roles which let you work remotely, I’m someone who graduated 2.5 years ago and am struggling to find career satisfaction

I was at Lloyds Banking Group, since the pandemic working remotely for the past 2 years then moved to a tech startup. Lots out there that are fully remote / distributed working. Might be a little easier for me as I work in the tech industry so it's a bit more forward thinking.
I did interview for other companies like experian, aviva and others who offer fully remote (or almost fully remote).
