I was actually very surprised by some of this but let me know what you think below!

ABOUT FROM FIRE EMERGENCE:
Survive unspeakable nightmares in this third person action-horror. Play as Sergeant Aaron as he answers a distressed call for help deep in the British countryside.
Defo not British police, theyd respond 4 weeks later with a 'we will get back to you'
4 weeks is too early that’s being generous
But you will receive a victim support leaflet...
unless you post an "illegal meme" then they will be on your doorstop within hours/minutes.
always someone complaining.
Legit 😂
As someone else who lives in the UK, its actually a very unique concept. We have enough history and folklore in this country to do something like this. I am just glad its not set in London and some aristocratic house but rather a large house with outbuildings. Parts of the UK are certainly as remote as this (the further away you get from London).
So true. Incidentally Fooster, the little wooden cages are for chickens
yeah you can really play up the horror with real uk issues too, like rural areas being so far from emergency services, or having terrible reception, or the bobbies not actually having firearms typically, all of which up the stakes without being unrealistic
@@katierasburn9571 Oh yes, some parts of the UK are incredibly remote particularly parts of northern England, parts of Wales or Scotland. Most of the population is concentrated in certain areas (most of the population in Wales is either in the South, North or West with the middle very remote and only a few roads due to mountains).
@@benfletcher9659 i live in lancashire and theres some really secluded creepy and chilling as hell areas all over this county that make this game look weak AF haha along with at least a thousand years of history with some of that still present its both beautiful and eerie as hell at the same time.
@@PHP6977 I bet, we went to Pendle about 6 years ago. I am near Cardiff but an hour away we have Brecon and that gets remote.
*Looking at the cost of the fuel at the petrol station.*
Fooster: "The REAL Horror." 🤣
Please don’t remind me…
@@themightyalpaca313 And it's already gone up a lot since then!
£1.29 is more reasonable than current rates. I think its £1.44 where I live. That said, I remember back in the late 90's early 00's when it was 79p, and there were riots/demonstrations over those prices. Nowadays nobody does anything - they grumble, but zero action anymore 😂
@@bobpage6597 Remember 4Star fuel? XD.
@@k3ntris Hahaha, indeed I do :D
Most unbelievable part of this isnt the horror part but that a British cop has a gun.
The fact there was a policeman on the beat after all the cut backs too 😂
He's most likely an AFO (Authorize Firearms Officer) meaning he has training an is able and authorized to carry a pistol, above those are SFO (Specialist Firearms Officer) who can also carry rifles and CTSFO (Counterterrorism officers)
A handgun but not a torch?
Love this. Such good work for a solo dev. One tiny teeny thing. His epaulettes are blue. They need to be black as police officers have black epaulettes and uniformed civilian police staff have blue epaulettes.
But 💯 can’t wait for the full game.
@@DavidSmith-yu2yk an AFO isn't driving a standard focus style response car. Nor have I ever seen them be single crewed. Nor would they be carrying the firearm around in the boot in such an unsecured manner.
Ah great, a horror game following police sergeant Nicholas Angel......or is it Angle.
Policeman should have got a cornetto from the fuel station 😂
Get a look at his arrrrse
There be a lot of accidents around here. 😊
Im not sure Joshua but "Aaron" had been making everyone else " look bad " because he was so " exceptional ."
@StarCroft144 First thought that came to mind. 😂
Vampire farmers would be a solid idea. Normally they feed off their livestock but on occasion a lost traveler knocks on their door and they get a treat.
This is great. I feel like the Greyhill Incident setting would be perfect for this.
I honestly thought you meant people that farm vampires, like make heaps and heaps of vampires hahahahaha.
Come and knock on our door. We’ve been waiting for you…
and vampire farmers mums.
@@rdxredrock "you've got a mustache."

Being a british cop would be worse since you don't have a gun while doing it.
@@pierluigiadreani2159 guns: highly effective against non-physical entities.
Not that a baton would be much help either.
On the plus side, that means your chances of attending a situation where you end up facing another gun are minimal.

"That's not in my jurisdiction, I protect and serve, from physical threats." Lmao.
@pierluigiadreani2159 Yeah, they'd have to call the armed police. The most unrealistic part is that fooster found ammo, lol.
I love how you always tell us what you think the car brand and models are. You might think people don't care, but as someone who doesn't know much about cars, I absolutely love hearing you talk about them!
Same with the "Hello?" when you enter bigger/dark rooms in games.
Love that stuff.
Don't stop! :D
I compleatly agree, you don't get many people who do that. And living in the US, it is kind of neat to learn about car models from across the ocean
💯 It’s more so just fun to hear him talk about something he’s so interested in though.
And hearing him saying TerRoRfoiYiN😂😂Love your accent fooster
Im just waiting for someone to one day code in a very creepy "I see you!" in response to when Fooster calls "HELLO?!" into a dark room (x
I think he must have some ptsd from that spider which answered him. That cave one.
Please please do more of this game when it fully releases! It seems super cool as someone from England having a horror game actually set in England like you said its pretty rare but when it is it feels so much more real!
"Windows boarded up, looking creepy as hell"
Oh it set in Birmingham
lmao you're bad haha

@@Phoebe5448 I live near Birmingham, it is a scary place lol
For a one dev game, this is actually awesome work already. As a cg artist i can tell that it takes a very long time to put all this together to make it a playable game
There must be a team working on it

Most everything in this game was bought from an asset store, not made by the dev.

That price would be insane
That and not getting a decent cuppa!
So nice to see a British set game instead of American all the time.
Word
lowkey it is
uk is a tiny over populated island theres hardly any woods the 🇺🇸 is massive and is only around 200 years old so much wooded areas and mountains
@@KNoxTratZ I guess. UK has more hilly fields than woods, if anything. So it's not all that suitable for horror.
@@YeahIDontKn0wEither We have loads of stuff for horror (East London/B*rmingham)
I think this idea has potential the British countryside really does have a Erie quality particularly at night since i lived in the country for like 10 years you feel completely alone but also like someone is watching you
Yeah, although almost any countryside is rather eerie at night. I’ve lived in the US countryside my whole life and I still find it slightly unnerving how our exterior lights don’t go all the way to the tree line in our field.
@@corvidaegudmund1186usa is massive the uk is a tiny over populated island theres people in the uk in a 4 mile radius usa you can be hundreds of miles away from the closest person
@@KNoxTratZThanks for the info
It's like that anywhere in the world where it's quiet at night. Movies and TV shows have heightened everyone's paranoia. In addition to that, there's whackjobs everywhere at night. No one normal is just out at night randomly. Yeah, the woods would be scary at night or day because it's an isolated area where anyone could be lurking. And there probably is someone there. Also, your mind basically plays tricks on you at night and it's almost like you're basically scaring yourself. It amplifies everything. I've definitely been in situations where i think it's just my mind but then it actually really fucking sounds like someone is there. And then I realise that there actually is someone there.
This one looks amazing 😊
When a one man game is more atmospheric than 90% of 3A games nowadays.
Im sure the dev is a gamer and tired buying horror games for $50 and get disappointed halfway 🤣
Sadly very true
Totally true lmfao 😂😂
I'm really impressed with the work by this developer. A one person studio. It's clear he/she has talent! Keep up the great work!
A solo dev made this? Incredible! RE and SH rolled into one. In third person too. You don’t see many of these. Definitely Wishlisting!
No. Chordosis is incredible. This is uni project levels of mediocre
Finally, it's not some clout chaser discovering the "eldritch truth" by going to an abandoned building, but just a police officer doing his job, you love to see it 🤣
You know the game turns into a horror game when it tells you "Hold Shift to run."
I'm sitting here in the middle of the English countyside, so I walked my dogs before watching this. Many, many lumens with my torch and a back up headtorch. Fooster would be so proud.
We all feel safe with Officer Fooster on the job ! As always, be well, be safe and be good fella.

The police car model is actually pretty good. Just incase the developer ever sees this, the rear licence plate is meant to be yellow. I dont know too much about armed police and what they drive but it definitely is not a focus and im pretty sure armed police have safes in the car which house the guns 😁👍
If this is read by the developer, its 'control' not 'dispatch'. Hardly affects the game but if they want to go full on realistic as possible for the future development thats one thing
@@AD911 yeah! There's a good amount of tiny details but overall it still looks like a great game
Vauxhall Astra

I recently started watching fooster and I wanted to say that the way fooster excicutes the playtrough with fantastic comentry is amazing and I'm really enjoying the content

That "what the hell is going on?" making Fooster laugh ,made me laugh too. My 4y old son picked it up from somewhere, I've not worked it out yet as I keep listening to what he's watching on YT etc and I've nit caught it yet. But he walks up to family, into rooms, just randomly asks etc. "What the hell.......(is this/is going on/are you doing) " always makes me laugh and I heard it in this police man.
Like everything to a 4y old is always a huge question of "what the HELL?"
I have exactly 60 years on him, and much of my conversation is a variation of "What the hell...?"
Officer Fooster is on the case!!! Get in that Ford Focus and solve those crimes! 😆

I know what you mean, Fooster, and I'm still laughing from that!
I hear "survive the unspeakable nightmare" and fooster is playing, I'm watching.
The dialogues...to think of the fact that that's the best they've tried and mangaed to put forth, makes me smile.
It's not "bad"...but rather on the "they tried hard and you can tell" side, kinda hilarious.
i get the impression the effort was more put into the setting and enemy than the dialogue, plenty room for improvement but hey its only a demo. I think as well it would make sense for aaron to be calling out police while hes approaching not just when he sees the vampire lady
Fooster, the way you scare yourself with your thoughts more than the actual game scares you is top tier! hahaha love it.
that half intact door being locked has me rolling 💀
Splinters bro. Aint worth the pain 🤣
This game is very much an alone in the dark type game.

We need more games set in the English countryside and Britain’s stunning landscapes. This land, brimming with history and natural beauty, is perfect for a range of game genres-from immersive fantasy RPGs and spine-tingling zombie games to eerie horror experiences, epic medieval battles, and open-world crime detective adventures. The rich, atmospheric settings of Britain could provide the ideal backdrop for these games, offering a fresh and compelling environment for players.
Also, with the rise of AR and VR technologies further enhances this potential. These advancements could transform how we experience British-themed games, making the lush countryside and historic settings come alive in unprecedented ways. Imagine exploring a haunted British mansion in VR or solving mysteries in a picturesque English village through AR. As these technologies evolve, they could turn the rich tapestry of British landscapes into truly immersive gaming experiences, blending the physical and virtual worlds in exciting new ways.
There's a new game coming in March called atomfall set in the British countryside Cumbria
“Officer Jason Statham to dispatch, no sign of the fly-tippers” 😂

Hope you're doing well, Fooster.
Me too. I always like all of Fooster's videos before I even watch them

you should say resident evil 1 OG PS1 because Resident evil 2 and 3 remake looks sthupid and depends only on graphical power but forgot the OG survival horror atmosphere.
Can't wait for the full game to come out and watch you play!
This is definitely a good base for a game franchise....with more $$$ behind it I'd like to see a background narrative where Sgt Aaron was previously Detective Aaron at the Met - investigating a serial killer that he became obsessed with...broke protocols...which led to the death of the serial killer's last victim...and ended up with him being demoted to a Sgt and transferred to a rural constabulary.
Then we could follow him on the graveyard shift like here...but maybe with a rookie police officer with him.
When he hears the message...it could mention something that alludes to the serial killer Aaron was previously chasing...and he goes in to investigate.
The police base would be laughing at him and the rookie cop would be trying to get him to turn back...both would add little twists to the main story as Sgt Aaron tries to avenge his previous failure.
I don't want the nasty oppressive British police in my video game. I play games to escape the UK dystopia.
I'm not a fan of horror games in the slightest, but watching these are completely worth it for Fooster's commentary & the "OH MY GOD" moments 🤣. Keep up the great work!

For me, as a person who rides horses or is generally sensitive to animal harm, the sight of these horse bodies was a worse horror than the game itself xd
As someone who can only tell cars apart with stuff like "big," "small," "old," "blocky," and by color, I always enjoy you actually knowing what cars probably are.
Horror games tend to scare me when they're realistic, if there aren't clear elements that make it obvious it's all fake. Thankfully this game started off by showing a British police officer that appears to be a very decent person.
The police have a little chance of surviving. All he has is a pepper spray, a torch, and a pair of handcuffs.😂
