Try free camping. It's easier in a van but can still be done with a rooftop tent. You just gotto know where to park.

Yeah, that could be good. Vans are definitely more suited to free camps! We struggled to find any in Vic/South NSW!

We don't know either! It might not even be a sports team... 🤣

@@JamesandJosieTravel now that's making sense. Must be just a brand name for a jacket.

We’ll do our research. We assumed sports team as lots end with “Wanderers”. More so in the UK! E.g. Bolton Wanderers (not a great team)

@@JamesandJosieTravel yah, aussie here. in victoria, done 2 half trips of aus, one from here to perth, up west coast, over the top, back down the middle, then a year later the east coast across the top, back down the middle. Inland always seems to have more free camps than east of the great divide ( nsw and qld ) where as on the coast, its always geared to push one to a paid caravan park.

Wow, that’s amazing! We see SO many people travelling and doing similar routes. We’re planning to go across the top and down the west coast. Any advice? How did you find driving through the middle?
