Good experience saved the day
Good find.thanks for sharing.
No problem 👍 thanks for watching!
Good diagnosis. Thanks for sharing!
👍
Thanks for a very helpful video since this is a problem not routinely encountered and is quite unexpected. The installation crew must've been in a hurry to wrap it up the day that unit was installed,. I would guess the compressor has suffered a bit from lack of cooling.
Glad it helped
Very informative
Glad it was helpful!
That ivy like plant was making me nervous, hopefully not a poisonous variety.
Just started apprenticeship but in commercial
Cool
I thought the piston goes in the sleeve
Piston goes in the coil
Yeah, you’re right. The installer is only installed the sleeve without the piston.
Okay so im new here but when we have low sub cool and low super heat does that mean the metering device is oversized. Again im still learning so if you could explain it i know this was a piston but would this be the same for a txv oversized?
If it is a piston, then yes, either it is oversized, or it is missing one altogether.
If it was a txv, then there is a big chance that it could be stuck open.
@@Parabellum-X if it’s a txv it’s more likely the bulb isn’t attached well
@@joeshearer1247 That is a possibility too.
However, if the bulb was attached properly from the get-go, chances are that the sending bulb didn't become detached unless somebody started messing with something that they didn't have any business messing with to begin with.
We are on the same page though.
