Put H&R springs on my 08 Cayman S two weeks ago, dropped an inch in the front, inch and a quarter in the rear and looks better than great. Ordered my OEM 7MM fronts and 15mm rear spacers from Porsche last week, waiting to pick up and install this weekend. Can't wait to see the final appearance after lowering a bit and the spacers put in place.
Did you get any rubbing with these when on full lock? Also, did you get and stone chips on the fender/paint from debri being kicked up from the road with 15mm on the fronts?
Nice simple mod. Looks good. I have the same model and also thinking of spacers. Has it had any negative impact from dirt being thrown up along the bodywork and what is the effect after driving wet roads?
Sorry, I have to comment here. The purpose of wheel spacers is what? Are you really going to compromise handling of your appreciating classic for a minuscule cosmetic benefit? I really don’t want to sound mean, it’s just that I have a classic Porsche and would never dream of modifying it.
That’s a great question and was my first question when I was looking into this. The wheels tend to sit much further in so they have spacing to put chains around the tires. Spacers allows the tired to sit more flush with the body and will not compromise the handling. Great question and thank you for commenting.
Agreed. Your car do what you want but a little bit of an insult to hundreds of German engineers that tested and calibrated this to a finite spot, for very good reason. I genuinely don't think it looks better. But hey, that's why there are hublots, and beautiful patek annual calendars 😋

Awesome! Do you have an Instagram? Would love it check it out.
Wow 1st time seeing 15mm in the front, doesn't stick out as much as I thought it would. Looks great!
Not at all! Really happy with it.

That looks great, I was worried when you said 15’s in the front but 15’s look right
I agree thank you.
I like it! Spacers are really worth it...never knew, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Looks awesome!
Time to lower it!

I see zero difference in drive. I’d only do it if you dropped the car.
Any issue to do this on a 4S?
Wanted to get follow up impressions. Are you still running the 15mm spacers in the front? Any rubbing?
Haven’t had any issues at all to be honest
Did you stay with the 15s all the way around? I have a 06 and plan to do the spacers over the next week
I did! 15mm all four. I love the look

I would think a wider track width would benefit handling.
