Brilliant - Thanks for adding the detailed Ubox instructions - sealed the purchase for me. Surgical implant of resistors - Great work !
Glad it helped
Pull Down Resistor install is neat. 👍
So to change grip tape it will just be new velostat paper I guess? Is that a better option than a layer of laminate between grip and paper?
Hi! I would use your Stompies XL on my stock XR, to replace broken stock sensor pads. Do you think your sensor is fully compatible with FM controller? Your new matte velostat is more resistive, I'm afraid the values it gives when pressed is under the threshold to activate the switch of my stock controller… Have you ever checked the values given by a FM sensor on your Vesc tool? Are they similar? Thank you for your answer!
Hey. People have used it before but I haven't tried yet.
Hi men, first thx for all what you are doing, soon I will build one or two funwheel, but first I have a question about the stompies, can u use it with a concave footpad ?
Yea should be ok.
@@Fungineers Thx ' your answer. I ask because I use a platypus pad for the moment, and they are concave but they also have a love hump. I love thus pads, my feets are 12 (30cm), so I need large pads :)
what is the size of the sensor pad?
What if in hooking it to a ow do i need resistors ?
Why couldn'tyou just add smd resistors to sensor PCB instead of doing this ugly teardown of connector?
Because the majority of controllers already has them built-in.
@@jangrewe Ohhhh got it! Thanks for the reply
For everybody else: it is mentioned at 06:36 in the video. ;-)
