Sorry to be off topic but does someone know of a method to log back into an instagram account?? I somehow forgot my account password. I love any help you can offer me!
Very cool video. I have a couple of suggestions, maybe they'll help. For the tire leaks, I recommended Tire Ject. It does well for both punctures and bead leaks. It's worked on another rider's hub that went flat in a day with no obvious leak. Also, that click/clunk when changing directions is the axle bolt being loose in the rail/plate. You can fix it in a couple of ways. On my board, I just retorqued then in with a good amount of leverage. Also, there are newer plates that are press fit over the axle. Even on the V1 kit, they should fit. The v2 Floatwheel used the same plates as you have until they changed it. If you want a set, let me know. I've got a bunch to send out.
Would you have a link to buy perhaps on ebay? I drilled the holes in the aluminum for the peipei phub-188 but would like to ensure I am mounting it properly, if it is delivered :P
Great video! I didn’t know DIY one wheels are a thing. What makes the production OWs more stable and smooth? Is this a tuning issue or better sensors & software
Many thanks for a great vid. I look forward to each new one you do. Without a doubt your presentation is unique and informative and best thing is focus on information rather than a popularity contest. I am especially interested in this as One Wheel does not ship to New Zealand and even if it did would cost over $3000 in our currency. Chur Bro
I am in the process of thinking about thinking about building a DIY onewheel. I have a Trampa VESC 6 MkV, a 10s 36v li-ion battery, a Phub-188 wheel, and the 2 aluminium rails either side. I just need to get my 3d Printer working again and I might be able to start building the frame. I'm a little concerned and confused about the footpad and the wiring in general
@@raiden72 trying to look through my AliExpress account, looks like I ordered 15/08/2021 and received 03/09/2021. I know alot of people have different experiences with the seller. I messaged them after a few days when it hadn't been dispatched, did seem to prompt them about. Good luck
Throw some tubeless tire sealant in the tire next time it deflates and ride it for a while. Should seal most leaks unless the actual rim was bent or damaged during shipping
Awesome build! How does the ride feel compare to the Pint or XR? I have a pint but have always wanted to try to build my own with one of the float kits just for the sake of building it lol
@@DIYesk8Builders I want to buy the new kit but I don’t know if the battery can be sent to my country and floatwheel and Tony haven’t answered my mails so I’m worried of the post sell service if I have a problem during the purchase.
Those Anti-spin plates have been known to fail and cause the motor wires to get destroyed. There are some CNC steel clamps someone has produced... It would be cool if you could stock them in your store!
@@DIYesk8Builders I saw them in a private OW DIY group but I can get them to contact your on instagram maybe. They just are finishing producing the first run of them so nobody had them yet.
Mine just arrived today. I was worried because I didn’t hear a thing from seller and he only accepts Bitcoin. Everything about this screamed scam, but no, everything is here as promised. Even the V2 rails that FM ordered the C&D about. There’s some minor differences between this and a FM, but for $400(and now even cheaper) less than a pint, i can’t help but recommend this. It took 8 weeks to arrive, and it was a very sketchy transaction, but all’s well that ends well.
@@DIYesk8Builders the Motor is exactly 3mm too long to fit into a FM axle block. I shaved 1.5mm off each side of the axle bolt, and it now fits my XR. Why would you do this? 50% more power, and an adjustable speed controller. Got the idea from Mario contino, it’s basically a dead XR with floatwheel motor, esc, and battery. If I knew it would get viewers and help people I’d make a video describing how I did it.
I noticed in your video you mentioned fabricating the riser pad by sending it into your local 3d print shop? 2 weeks? You should really just get your own 3D printer for home. They are really not that hard to learn, cheap and super fun to use. I make quick prototypes all the time. Grab an Ender 3 Pro printer online for around $250.00. Cheap very reliable printer. 👍
the nose manual wheels are dope!
I was wondering when you would upload this video, thank you!!
As always thank you for keeping me busy :) I hope yall are staying safe during these times. ❤🐐

Just wait for our float wheel video! That one might really be worth it for you!
How to make a one wheel :
-buy one wheel pieces
-put it together
Good job 👍👍
Hi, can you guide me to make this?
Would you ever consider making videos on how to make custom battery cells/packs using 18650 batteries?
We will not be making any battery building tutorials as that is something that we are not experienced with unfortunately
Where could I find rails that use that oval motor mount now
there are some rails here: www.fungineers.us/collections/rails
I can only find ones with the 2 holes through that link
is there space in the battery compartment for Lipo batteries with higher capacity instead the pack you are using? Thanks
Probably could be done!

Is the company that you bought your wheel from the same as the one that makes the wheel on the float wheel website?
Yes! This was their V1 kit. We actually just finished building the float wheel and will have a video for it soon

What's the delivery time to France please
This kit does not get made anymore but you can check out floatwheel.com/ for the new one they made
