Hey thanks for watching the video!
Hauling from our corals with our running 230 wide body.
I follow a lot of farmers, your videos are the best of the bunch! Your sister needs another vid soon, hers are great too!
Never thought manure spreading could be cinematic, but if anyone could do it, it would be you, Jan. ❤️
I totally understand looking forward to a great nights sleep after a long hard day on the farm. Growing up on a farm I was always thankful for a good meal and nice warm bed at the end of the day but I was forever looking to see what God had in store for tomorrow: it never got old. You have been very blessed Jan.
I realize it's kind of off topic but do anyone know of a good website to watch new series online?
@Fox Ayaan Flixportal =)
@Brett Carson thanks, signed up and it seems to work =) I appreciate it !!
@Fox Ayaan you are welcome :)
for all his hard work you'd think his dad can bring him some timmys
One of my favorite chores is hauling manure. Just you and the machinery, don't have to worry about people.
Great video! Thanks again for sharing you daily life! 🇨🇦
Great video as always Jan, thanks for the video! Hope all is well there!
You are a hard working family!! Do you get a day off occasionally? You definitely deserve it😊
Love your videos
I'm in Oregon. We used to pick beans by hand back in the day. After bean picking sometimes the bean bus we were on would follow a manure truck on those back roads in the fields. This video brought back that memory. Thanks!(?)
As a young boy I used to love playing in the mud, you have taken it to a whole new level.
Hahaha not willingly 😂😂
😀😀😀😀🤔Have a good rest after such a shitty day!
I love our Saskatchewan sunsets
I love a good trip on your farm real good my friend good job take care papa Guido talisa Can't wait for the next video
Reguardless of the muck you got to love spring work. 👍
100%!
Great video - nice drone shots. Admire the way you look after your ladies!
I never would have imagined how much I have come to enjoy farming videos! Who knew that a pandemic could open your mind to new and different! I so enjoy your channel as well as Sonne Farms and Sheepishly Me! As a fan of The Hoof GP, I am wondering if you trim your cows hooves?
I like the way your were cutting these videos in the beginning, like a 3rd person perspective! Good job.
Really enjoy the drone footage, thanks.
Thank you for bringing your old style video (s) back
You like these better?
@@saskdutchkid yes really much 🤣
I shall never complain about scooping the cat litter box again!
Lol
🤣
I like your hat. It is so true. You need to offer the opposite hat that says " I eat because of a farmer"
👍
I prefer ‘if you have eaten today, thank a farmer’.
I like that better too
Loved those shots...have a good night sleep and rest well!!!!! :))
Salute to this great farm , how you deal with harsh winter condition it's commendable, here we never experience such weather in Africa Kenya
Hello from Yorkton, Saskatchewan, Canada. Great show’s thanks for sharing with us. I see we watch a lot of the same kind of UA-camrs.
Great info and thank you for explaining! Visions of you looking your boot...that was mucky
great job on the video Jan, they get better and better evry time, keep up the good work
Certainly with an emphasis on Cinematic, because those shots were awesome. And i like the 'secondary' shots from the outside, really professional there Jan!
I live in fl and I love watching you guys. I think I have watch all most every one
I love your politician (manure spreading) segments.
The title - so funny
Talk about being knee deep in sh*t puts a whole new meaning to the phrase lol We here in Ontario are having some nice weather as well..Spring has sprung! Thanks for another great video

I’m really into the cinema-type footage. Nice!!!
That is some beautifully shot sh*t.
Lmao
You are not missing out on anything in life, Jan! Thanks 🙏 for doing and sharing!
Thanks for the video Jan.
" Smells like spring " . I'm ready. Nice tractor. Thanks for the video , Jan.
@Ronald Barrett Did you notice he stood by the shit spreader? lmao
Good start, but that Lagoon she FULL ! When you plan on getting after it? Get your rest.....
Work hard, sleep hard.
A good days work.
I noticed their is still snow and had bugs buzzing you.
You make even the most routine and mundane jobs sound interesting. One of the few channels I click on as soon as I get the notification
I really like your all video's....👍
Get some sleep. Hav a good nite🌛
Liquid gold. It is a smelly job but a satisfying one to have pens clean and fertillizer on the fields.
Hats off to you and your family Jan, such a conscientious family you are a bright future for the dairy industry!
If it’s fun for you Jan, it must be hilarious for the cows.
Wow good work
Weird question, do you turn out the lights at night in the cow barns
Another great video Jan. I noticed horses just outside that special gate with the barb wire fence. Are they your family's pets?
Jan!! Here in Norway there is still over 1meter with snow!!!!
Really? Wow, I live in the us but wow. I would probably guess after awhile you will get tried of it
@@jacobk75 Thats right i am tired of it
So this is what “Shit hits the fan” looks like?
I gave you a thumbs up just based on the title.
I don't blame u for not using concrete it's always been to dam expensive save money were u can love the videos keep up the great work
👍👌🇨🇦❤, another Sask boy, me too
Runny chocolate pudding
The red cows are so pretty
Another enjoyable video!! 👍😎
Thank you!
Great video Jan thank you.
Great awesome video Jan, fun fun time of year
Thanks for the great video. Just enjoy watching the manure spreader.
You are a good son Jon I know mom and dad love you so much good job
@Micheal Collins Laughing my ass off
I love your dairy the layout the cows everything very nice
Been waiting for this video all year!!!
When will we see this in IMAX? That would be epic!
My father says that when you check the oil on a muchine you should wipe it down and recheck it. He says it is a fail safe incase the oil level in the resevor is not the same on the stick.
Awesome.
Enjoyed the VIDEO
Free fertiliser!
You’re a hard worker Jan. Question: Are you operating your drone while you’re driving the tractor or did you get help on that? Great video as always.
Got my sister to stead it while I flew it
Now that is some serious muck you have there, but it's a good fertilizer.
🚜Awesome
That actually looked like a fun day...shitty but fun :-)
The ladies appreciate you taking on the shitty job of cleaning their palace.
Slop, slop and more slop. Melting snow, cows peeing and pooping...equals lots of slop. Fertilizer for the crop so worth the work of spreading. Thanks for another great video..
Yeehaw Kid Dutch is back with another awesome video 👍
Love the vids man 😄😄
Which drone/camera do you use? Looks awesome
Muck, you got cows you got muck.....
I think mud is the nice name for what's in the corrals.
Tell us about the horses that we saw in the background. I've also lost a boot in the muck. Not fun.
Great videos all the time!! Real work for sure!!
Jan I have 2 spreaders like you have plus 2 liquid tankers I have a 50 stall Delaval rotary anybody near you milk in a rotary
Гарна робота!!!!!
Time to do another Q&A!!! :)
👍
Just kinda a stupid question - Concrete on the floors would obviously be a pain, but would it make sense to grade out the pens a bit, slope the overall grade to help get that liquid into say a central swale, and run out the back or something, like you'd grade a lawn or other bare-dirt / gravel surface for water control? Obviously, wouldn't get rid of all of it by any means, but might help a bit with the more egregious amounts of slop, at least the liquid water and similar would tend to run off, instead of pooling. Would that end up being a problem with the cows in some way, though?
Cool video jan good job on footage
the world needs farmers
One thing, all farms ive seen on the other side of the atlantic. No one ever uses a planning bucket (?) Dont really know the correct translation for it...
But that would ease a lot of your work on the farm.
Pretty much the only bucket i use on my loader except for pure earth/rock hauling
Feel the spring outside... Damn we get 20 mm snow today in sweden 😂
You are awesome buddy you don’t like my comment on your videos on UA-cam I support you Jon
WOW 🥺 You folks have quite the massive farm. I've lived in Saskatoon all my 60 years, and had no idea you were there. Of course I knew there were big farms and ranches in Saskatchewan, but I didn't realize we had a milk farm so close to Saskatoon! Thank you for sharing and showing us city folk how hard you work and what and how a large dairy farm works. I'm wondering though, how long do you keep cows(holsteins I'm guessing) for milking and what happens to them after that?🤔
Fyi their are a few milk farms arround Saskatoon. Their is one a bit smaller then theirs about 15th minutes north of Langham; 5 farms away from my best friends farm. Google says their are 182 dairy farms here in Saskatchewan.
@@mienafriggstad3360 Wow, that is really interesting. Do you know where SaskDutchKid's farm is? I just know it's near Saskatoon, but haven't a clue as to where!
Jan, you've got a s****y job, but my compliments, you do it well.
I was watching the 10th Generation Dairyman and they have someone come to their farm and empty the manure collection ponds. Would that work for you guys? Seems it might be more cost effective.
Is the lights in the Barn dimmed at night?
Gr8 job Jan! The last thing you need is more infrastructure (concrete) to maintain It must crack ho
You just a good boy
I am wondering if your manure pump could work with a shovel end on it for the outside corrals. Then just pump it right into your manure spreader. It should work in the higher piles as well, or just in front of a bucket load. Time saver?
