Those things cause problems! They stick underneath the tile, and raises the tiles away from the surface too much! It becomes easy to not end up with enough mortar and a tile can become loose. Or even accumulate water behind it as a result. You end up having to add a whole lot of extra mortar to ensure it's thick enough. So, the directions you see from things like the Schluter Allset and whatnot, that tell you what trowel to you, that information goes out the window, because it's incorrect, because those darn spacers lifted the tiles up. They're thick as hell. Shitty tile jobs as a result all over !!!
Sorry to say but no way that is the top 6 leveling clips. I would review how much torque the clips have so they don't break off before you want them to and how clean they break as well when you do want to remove them. If the clips don't snap off easily you need to cut off the additional plastic with a knife and that is an annoying job that can take more time to complete the project and risk damaging the tile if not careful. Another thing to consider is polished tile can sometimes get scratched from some clips, they may not be easily noticed but depending on the lightiing you can see where all the clips were installed. From my experience with some of the clips, I think you may have one of the worst clips on the market as one of the top 6. I don't mean to criticize your review but want to clearify for you how to improve and give others the best information.
I used for the first time and you just tap them sidways with a rubber mallet and they break off real clean 🧽 took me ten minutes knock out 45 square meters worth then swept up the wedges throw the broken bits 🎉
