My daughter & I saw the Monkees at a college in Virginia many years ago. Shook their hands & Davy came down into the audience & stood on my daughters chair to sing to the crowd. It was a blast!!

Oh, that's the entire interview. In the full episode, right after Micky finishes speaking, it cuts to Ray asking him to sing. Micky jokingly says that the audience isn't there to hear HIM sing, but after several seconds of resisting, the audience cheers and applauds after he agrees to sing a song or two.
