Unbelievable! Amazing! Finally something for photography in the spirit of high tech, kind of F1 production! It makes me so happy that darkroom has a new chapter! Bravo Mr. Heiland! Bravo Wolfgang Walberer! Good things happen in the world after 40 years in large format enlarger.
It's fascinating, but for a private owner, too huge and impractical. There's a video somewhere on UA-cam of Ansel Adams at home in his basement using his homemade 8x10 enlarger. It's one of the only examples I've seen of an enlarger greater in size than 5x7 that was practical to install in a private residence.
It's self alignment mode with a 3 lasers, which measures the distance to the wall, and tilt, shift and swing the enlarger automatically to keep absolutely parallels on the wall, lens and a negative/

то всё здорово, но как сами камеры? Стоит ли возня с бОльшими форматами, чем 8х10 в реалиях выездной съемки? Со студией всё понятно, но реально куда-то выехать и получить результат лучше чем 8х10 должно быть в разы сложнее. Конечно, радует сама возможность такого, надеюсь будет востребовано.
Пока у нас есть только опыт со студийной съемкой. Думаю, и в выездном варианте 20х24 будет отличаться сильно от 8х10. Но трудозатраты очень большие. Ждем полевую камеру Chamonix 20x24” - всего 30кг веса. Попробуем выйти в город, снять пейзаж ;))
It took 3 years to build my 20x24 camera. I like close shots so the bellows fully extended Is 8 meters long. I have the best lenses for it like the Schneider fine art lens as well as a Docter-Wetzlar lens that covers 30x40 inch film. I have lens number one out of 10 that exist. How much does your enlarger cost?
Боюсь что то сказать что бы не выглядеть дураком! надо ещё раз внимательно послушать....а что у типографской печати есть большие недостатки? и нужно изобретать такой огромный увеличитель? А если мне надо 120 на 80см к примеру.... .....да! явно конструкторы будут не в курсе где был последний чемпионат мира по футболу и кто стал финалистом....

without floor rails and the enlarger moving this way and that way, how do you keep it square to the baseboard (wall)?

Цена типографского отпечатка нулевая на фоне авторского отпечатка напечатанного оптически на фотобумаге!
Если вам надо 120х80см... то что? В чем вопрос?
