I am fascinated with your machine and your lab
rockanchor Many thanks!
beautiful gear, world class darkroom...wonderful video..but the image-neg chosen has no heart to it..It must be remembered, that great art has some emotion to it, you need to care about the final image ..nothing else really matters in the end..do not forget to make photos with HEART..with some visual impact to them
Gerry Yaum Thanks! Yes, sure. That was a very first test of a new ULF camer, film, development and of course Enlarger. We’ll print something beautiful next time ;)
Very impressive work by Heiland and so amazing to see this incredible machine being built today!
bwvids Back to the future ;)

Thanks a lot!
My old studio had the same, except our camera system was Victorian. The bed was attached on springs and was used every day for copy work b&w col and tran. I hope when the studio finally closed down early 2000 that Liverpool museum where able to take it. Liverpool longest running studio. Elsam Mann and cooper all can trace back to the 1st photographer.
It is a Great ! I wanna try it !
Impressive!!!
Впечатляет!
what a beautiful machine! congrats! But what a pain to get the giant negatives dustfree ;-)
Very true. In the negative carrier there is a dust inspection system included by Heiland electronic!
Now I see, where the Heiland enlarger went to...
Rüdiger Hartung Correct!
Shooting the portrait wouldn’t it be better to use strobes for a short exposure ?
But a stroboscope would make his eyes blinking. Why should it make the exposingtime shorter?
@@SD_Alias Light is the fastest thing in the universe. Faster than a blink and you don’t have to worry about subject motion. Fashion and portrait shooters use them all the time.
@@terrywbreedlove stroboscopes? I always saw them using flashlights.
a wooden box will do it to
That negative could conservatively produce 4 gigapixel images.
or 4 terrapixels ))
@@AntonIvanov Not even close, even at 7200 dpi (well beyond the resolution of any available film) it would only be 24 gigapixels.
