I loved this game when I was a kid! I remember your best friend actually made it hard to stay loyal to just one guy if you wanted to- any guy you talked to, she'd ask you over and over if you had a crush on him, no matter how many times you said no. I would always say yes just to get her to talk about something else!
I wanted the dream life so badly as a kid, when I got designer's world me and my cousin played it for an entire summer until it broke
All of these videos are unlocking parts of my memory I haven't accessed in probably 10 years. So many memories of playing this game with my sister
Not me as a young repressed lesbian playing this game and subconsciously customizing my best friend to look like my dream girlfriend
I was bi and did the same LOL
Me modelling people off my crushes because I am too nervous and gay to ask actually talk to them
I DID THAT! I think I always picked Joshua to date cause he seemed more femme, but the bestie was 100% my real crush lol
Didn't come here for a personal attack. But here we are!
Not me being trans and struggling to make my character a boy xD
I love the story of Billy. Reporter who knows literally everything about everyone in SwimCity and has a best friend who is just her but Cooler.
Dream life conversations are the awkward conversations I have with people when I completely fail, BUT WORSE.
I love these kinds of videos Billiam. These strange early 2000s "sim" games and handheld games and virtual pets and stuff are so weird and are things that could only exist for such a small period of time while technology was evolving and before cell phones became ubiquitous for kids.
God I used to love this game! So sad that I donated it just a couple years ago 😢😢. I remember wasting away my summers playing it and living my fantasy of getting in a relationship with my crush and him actually having a crush on me. Ugh the nostalgia.
my childhood best friend and i would play dream life and dream life superstar ALL THE TIME. we would take turns and each play like 5-7 days and then hand over the remote to the other! it was one of our favorite things to do. i definitely don’t remember it being that expensive, but it was a huge part of our childhoods and i’ve never seen anyone else talk about it
Billiam, Aka: Scott The Woz that gives me anxiety.
Scott The Woz but he can grow facial hair
@@matcha6710 Scott but he's more nostalgic???
oh my god the nostalgia i got just from the thumbnail??? i barely remember the game itself but the controller shape and the sound effects trigger smth within me
There's no way it was that expensive. My sister and I had (and still have) both this one and that pink fashion designer game and our parents would never have spent that much on games for us.
"I'm tired. I'm stressed."
Me to Billy. Me to.
Hearing the music and sound effects of the game is taking me BACK! I used to loveeeee this game
Lol that gossip girl reference at the end 😂
dream life & the fashion spinoff were my life as a kid i still have both remotes & all
I remember I had a plug and Play called VS Maxx, had a few reskins of a Speed Racer games.
Get that knock off dream cast controller out of this video
This brought back memories. I used to see commercials for it and went crazy. Never did see one in real life. I forgot it existed until now!
Woooow these brings back some deep brain memories
12:36 🤣 " if he's wearing this hoodie at the Fall Ball, I'll be so pissed. I just spent $500 on my dress." I feel like he truly just stepped into them dreamlife of a teenage girl
When your mom didn't love you enough to get you the Nintendo 64 :(
She always loved you Amar, she was just poor :(
I didn't think I'd ever heard of this thing before but seeing the commercial for it brought it all back.
American Tokimeki Memorial: Forever With You.
I literally ran around my whole living room, finding all the components to this game. I have the full console and played it with my friends for hours when we were younger. I might plug it in and try playing again since this video was such a nostalgia trip.
as dankpods would say:
"I CANT BELIEVE NO ONE BOUGHT THIS!!!!! c: "
Oh my gosh, the nostalgia in the music and sound effects. I don’t even know what happened to mine or how I got it, it I played this religiously for a while in middle school.
I loved this game as a teen! My younger sister and I played Dream Life all the time.
