So I was always broke and couldn’t buy anything because I would get like 10k coins when a character costs like 100k when realistically anyone with more than five brain cells would get about 75k per level. Back the the games, I remember blues clues too loved the sounds, the marvel marvel one loved the sounds, and idk more but it’s too hazy and fuzzy. And honestly bruh, I might now be cognitively capable without it. Like I wouldn’t of even been able to get to 10% in more advanced games like that sponge bob game. Thanks to the V Smile, i learnt to spell "Embarrassing" in 1st grade Edit: Thanks to the V Smile, i became way smarter than the other kids in class, mostly because of the Scooby Doo game
I remember having one of these when I was a kid! I actually had all three! The original V Smile, the V Motion and the V Smile Pocket! There was this one Pixar Cars game I remember playing _ALL_ the time! Specifically the one neon sign puzzle minigame. I absolutely loved it. I actually still play puzzle games like that to this day! Such as Power Line.
I had a similar product, I had a vsmile pocket, its like the TV version but the display was so small, luckily it had a TV adapter so I could play on the TV.
6:46 I was hit with so many flashbacks. I had one of these growing up and couldn't remember the name of the game I played most often on it. It was this.
I played 3 games on this console as a kid. Shrek, Ernest and Bart, and Winnie the Pook. And the it still works. These games were pretty decent and I still remember some funny sound effects. Like in Shrek, there are levels where you musn't be found, so if Shrek use his yell shockwave attack, Donkey says "Shrek, you CANNOT yell here'', and you're brought back to the beginning of the level. The Winnie game was a pretty good platformer for a kid. There even are collectables and levels with different kinds of gameplay. There even are minigames you can play with another player and they're pretty interesting for a kid. The bug catching minigame might even be interesting for an older person in two player mode since you have to go faster than your opponent, which can be challenging if you're playing with someone of your age. Finally, the Ernest and Bart game is pretty simple, but the sound effects and cutscenes are pretty funny. I still remember the alien in the moon level "Yepyepyepyep !" or basically Ernest in general. Also yes, that controller is just so cool.
Oh boy I remember this thing. This was actually the 2nd console that I ever had access to, the first being the LeapPad (not sure which one, apparently they made a few different ones which i had no idea about when i was a kid). I specifically remember my favorite game was the Go Diego Go "platformer." As a child I would even sometimes choose this over my PS2 because it was easier to set up and was a lot easier to navigate, for obvious reasons. I'd kill to have a life as simple as that again lol
I think the V Smile is what kicked off my love for video games, my sisters and I each had our own personal smartridge. Mine was Blues Clues, and my sisters had Scooby Doo and Care Bears

But still keep in mind I practically couldn’t read when I should of. This is really too surreal. The colors are still very... nice... they are very colorful. And that sponge bob one I couldn’t figure it out. I just played the picture games. I also have dyslexia. But the colors are so nice. Their graphics are compelling. As if it’s a game some modern kid would wish they had. Like I see some of the things kids grow up now with and it’s so... gross. It’s just watching coco melon and other really capitalist hellscape things like tiktok.
I owned one of these as a kid, I believe it’s currently at my uncles house, I loved that thing so much
I played the Ariel and Dora game constantly... it all felt like a fever dream until I saw this gameplay. It has haunted me since like, 2005. I'm almost an adult now, and I feel like these were creepy, terrifying figments of my imagination.
@sarah34523 good comment, what i believe those are what's so called 16-bit graphic design what they like used for Sega Genesis or maybe Atari games. The whole world will never know about videos games give us little children nightmares, me i just love some of the games when i used to play, i just enjoyed spending fun time memories to play and rememeber those good days.
Thanks to the V Smile, i learnt to spell "Embarrassing" in 1st grade
Edit: Thanks to the V Smile, i became way smarter than the other kids in class, mostly because of the Scooby Doo game
Same but because of the alphabet game
These consoles haunt my local goodwills. I see them ALL the time.
That was my childhood game system before i could get a Wii 🎮
I remember having one of these when I was a kid!
I actually had all three! The original V Smile, the V Motion and the V Smile Pocket!
There was this one Pixar Cars game I remember playing _ALL_ the time!
Specifically the one neon sign puzzle minigame. I absolutely loved it.
I actually still play puzzle games like that to this day! Such as Power Line.
I had the Motion and I still have my pocket to this day! I am planning to give it to my little brother who is turning 3!
I remembered having one of these when I was a little lad.
Nowadays, I can't remember if I still have it or not.
That Winnie poo game was hard-core for me
I always remembered when I was little think the battery blinking on the corner of the tv was pop when it was actually the batteries dying
The way he pronounces Descartes is.... interesting.
How could they not know "the dick smith wizard" would be a hilariously awful title? 🤣
Shame you skipped Scooby Doo. That one had a roller coaster section that was incredible
We got the Aussies represented with the good old boys at Dick Smith
I always thought my brain had made this up, I’m glad to know I’m not crazy and that I did have one as a kid
That seems to be a common trend on this channel.
yeah i thought the whole thing was a dream and it's also stuck in my head like a tattoo for over a decade
I remember having this console when I was a kid. I always played the spiderman game until I got rid of the v-tech
I can't believe I actually forgot I had one of these. I used to love it when I was a kid.
One of these days Billiam is going to have an auction for all the weird toys and videos he's reviewed
He'll make a fortune
I think the V Smile is what kicked off my love for video games, my sisters and I each had our own personal smartridge. Mine was Blues Clues, and my sisters had Scooby Doo and Care Bears
I just discovered this channel from YT recommendations and I absolutely love it!
**gets not too vivid flashbacks**
I remember this educational system as a kid in 2005
I had one of these and the handheld and man seeing Zayzoo unlocked some hidden memories
Those and my Pixter, man. What a gamer childhood
I 100% forgot this was a thing until this video popped up in my recommendations and i'd like to thank you for sating a curiosity i didn't realize i had since i was 8 years old
I weirdly feel like I played that dora one but I don’t remember ever having this toy.
did you have a leapster? I had both and I remember playing a Dora game
1:06 - Too Old in Two Thousand and Four
8:43 - 8:58 - Best Song!
12:36 - Wiggly Fish
12:41 - It's Not Ugly, It's Beautiful
I remember always seeing this thing and always wanting to touch it but never play it
Could “I played every Scooby Doo Game” be in the future?
Is that even possible
My son got one of these from his grandparents when he was 2. He would get up in the middle of the night to try to play it (the baby monitor ratted him out.) He was so obsessed with it he started having nightmares about being attacked by the toy hippos from Alphabet Park. He had outgrown it by the time he was 5.
