You should've added in how to quickly spot a bent strut (look at the bolt that runs through the lower control arm and holds the strut to it), that the lower control arms have a tendency to squeak when going over bumps (literally happens in every sedan made from 2015), the upper arms very rarely go bad and to watch out for rusty springs.
When i put the car in drive and let go off the brake slowly but not all the way still keeping pressure on brakes there is a huge vibration in car. What would be the cause of it ?
How about doing a presentation about W211 steering wheel having a slight vibration during speed of 30 to 40mph. Also about the special adjusting bolt for making/correcting wheel alignment. Regards
I have mercedes benz GLC 250D premium AMG Line. It is making clunk/knock noises over a rough road from the rear end inside the boot. After a diagnostic from the local garage, they assumed it was a shock absorber or something in the suspension. I couldn't find out yet. Any solution, please?
For the C400 the axels make a clicking or popping sound. There is a bulletin. Not sure if it's because of the front/rear bias setup? I wonder if this problematic for all models or just C400.
I was told that my two rear tires in the back of my 2017 Mercedes C43 AMG Sedan were bad because of two bad shock absorbers. My car was purchased CPO at 27,000 Miles and now I have 42,000 miles. Should this really be the issue or are they trying to rip me off at Tires Plus? I have Nankang tires.
Thank you for the helpful info. Any idea what causes a kind of sqeaky noise when turning the wheel either direction? I was told low power steering fluid to a bad rack...it a 2016 C300 with only 46k miles
Did you just replace the lower control arm Forward? Which is the longer arm on both sides? Or you replaced both forward and backwards? He has them on the table in the left side
For the thrust arm (front arm) you can, they actually tend to come without the bushing when you replace the arm if the ball joint or arm itself is damaged and you have to press a new one in. For the spring control arm you technically can but when replacing the arm they come pre-installed, however if we have to make a camber adjustment we do have a correction bushing that can be pressed in....mercedes doesn't supply a non-offset replacement bushing for this arm.

Does airmatic in the W205 give a quieter ride from road noise and vibrations?
Not by much

This has seem to become a problem on our C300 as well...

Lower control arm
Did you ever find a fix to this?
I'm having the same problem.
@@Ngawangtashi43mine is coming from steering column.
@ThinkingHuman it ended up being the lower control arm. They come with bushings pre-installed and it was very easy to do myself.

Would this apply also for 2015 GLK 250 ? Pls n thx .
Awesome video like always!!!!
No, glk shares with the w204 c-class. The w253 GLC shares the underchassis with this w205 c-class.
I took my 2016 Mercedes C3 hundred for an oil change and it was recommended that I get a new suspension because it’s noisy
can you change only bushing without changing the arm

Why do you keep looking to your right!
need to zoom in on the parts while talking about them, every time you talk about them. we don't need to see the mechanic and his light
