- Hey guys, first video of 2022… Expecting a lot more fishing trips this year so stay tuned for some more videos. We are just casually fishing the Boise River, catching anything from white-fish to browns. It was a good little trip that we often find ourselves doing.

Hi... My name is Eric (aka Rivers Edge). I am an avid fishermen / fly fishermen who likes to fish for bass, trout, crappie, salmon, steelhead, kokanee, sturgeon and many other species lurking in Idaho's waters. Awesome video guys. I live in Weiser and have never fished the Boise River. I need to get with it I guess.
Thanks! I think a stretch of the boise pours into the Snake River next to Wieser if I'm not mistaken. You just got to explore the river and find those holes. 🤙
@@riversedgefishing Not sure. If it does, my guess it would be the middle fork of the Weiser river, up towards Council. Looks like a blast regardless, thanks for sharing.

What area are you fishing I never have the best luck on the Boise but have a few spots 🙌
Love eagle island state park area not much pressure since most people want to avoid paying the fee...good footage guys and goirgeous fish!!! If ya ever need a restock on the flys that shred on the river hmu! I got all the local favs and my own signature ones...tight lines! Also check the local star paper for the river report!
Yeah... so many good holes there but I'm yet to pull something big out of there. I'm curious to know what flies you got and use, maybe I'd buy some off you 🤷♂️. Where do I hit you up? Thanks 👍
@@riversedgefishing how do you get In to the river because there was a fence all around the river
@@landermatyus8958 you have to get in into the park. You'll end up having to pay $5-10 for parking if you don't have a park pass. Ad soon as you pass the "security" you take a right onto a dirt road. You pretty much drive through a couple farm lands and park at the end of the road. You can see it in the beginning of the video. There is an accsses and pathway throughout the river. 🤙

@@riversedgefishing hahah yeah. That’s my problem, the time to practice. Use to do it a lot in the sierras… then kids, work all that. Just quicker to get out with the Baitcaster/spinner haha. But this spring gonna get after it.
