To Meadow Rose. I am a woman also, and was wondering how to fulfill this commandment.
I bought some pretty scarves at thrift stores for $1 to $2 each. They have four corners. After sanitizing them, I got some sewing thread of various colors and made tassels for the four corners of my scarves. I always put a blue thread in the tassels. I didn't make any special knots, but they are tassels.
Hopefully, your work place allows scarves.
    Deuteronomy 22:12
“You shall make yourself tassels on the four corners of the garment with which you cover yourself.

This is a sin what you are dabbling with. When God ordained the Gentile Church, the Originals had to make some serious changes. Peter, at first did right and preached salvation to the gentiles. Later he showed up and brought the Law....got shut down by all the brethren and openly rebuked by Paul. The Church belongs to God and is strictly a Gentile bride. All Jews must abandon their traditions, ways and follow Jesus. He gave instruction to the Church the only ordinances allowed. To place Jewish requirements on gentiles or other Jews is the sin of rejecting the commandments of Jesus. Jesus said in many places "Keep my commandments." I hate to bust your Jewish roots bubble, but Jesus, the Only Begotten Son of God fulfilled ALL of the Law and He is the Worthy One to listen to here. Jesus did not COMMAND the tassel....so leave it be. Jesus is Lord and soon He will be Lord of ALL. His name is famous. Yes, Jesus is His name. His WORLDWIDE GENTILE BRIDE CALLS HIM "Jesus" Get onboard or get left behind. This Jewish roots thing is SIN

@Ezer Kenegdo hello, I am not a scoffer, but a follower of Jesus. There is only one way to please Heavenly Father...obey His Son's commandments. God gave us His Son for a reason. To provide perfect leadership that pleases God. Mankind needs both forgiveness and access and Jesus is the Door. We don't become a door, we go thru it. He is different than us. He fulfilled all of the Law so that "In Him" we are pleasing to our Heavenly Father. Please take a closer look at God's Gentile Bride.....the Galatians. BTW, God does not have a Jewish Bride or a Jewish Christian Church. Yes there are some making it appear so, but this is not found in any of the New Testament Christian Churches. This should send up a red warning flag

    • @breatheagain7775
      @breatheagain7775 5 років тому

@Ezer Kenegdo Jesus is my Leader. Paul is my brother in Christ. Jesus is perfection. Paul is human and flawed. The Word of God is pure and servers of the Law are guilty of all the law. This is exactly why we all need Jesus, the perfect sacrifice whose perfect life, death and resurrection laid to rest & honorably memorialized ALL of the Law. This is the dispensation of the New Testament. You simply cannot have both the Old and New Covenants in force. Why do you think Jesus said "It is finished"? What is "IT"? What does the word "finished" mean? "It Is Finished" speaks volumes to those who have an ear for the Word of God. To the unwashed masses this might sound like desperate dying words of a man in pain. But this is no ordinary man....this is the Word made flesh. Something WAS OVER AND DONE WITH when these words went forth. I leave the question here with you to find and announce the Truth of the answers.
      What is IT?
      What does FINISHED mean?
      What ended?

@@breatheagain7775 He reconciled us back to YHWH through His sacrifice. That was His mission. He actually magnified the Law and explained it further. The Laws are written on our hearts and still in effect. Except we do them out of Love. We walk like Yahusha now. If we do slip, Yahusha goes before us to the Father today and pleads our case for forgiveness. I hope you understand. 🙏

Asking if women should wear tzitzitzs has me bewildered. Every male and female is saved by the blood of Jesus Christ, why wouldn't women wear tzitzits? A man is not responsible for their wive's salvation or vice versa.

Its a male command only, which is why the term for male is used. Only the men is required to do so. It has nothing to do with salvation. it has to deal with God has his reasons, why men are suppossed to. some bibles says children, but the hebrew says Son(s), which is the issue.

I have been a firm believer all of my life, raised in one of the denominations that is a part of "Christianity". However, this is my first time ever learning about the wearing of the tzitzits and the fact that this is a commandment of Father YAH. I do remember noticing in a movie that was made about YAHUSHA HA'MASCHIACH (Jesus Christ) a scene where the camera briefly focused on the tzitzits that were on His garment. I wondered what the significance was about this part of his garment. But I didn't know the answer to this question until today, (after viewing this divinely inspired information). Thank you for this study and for the additional study information that was presented in the FAQ video about the tzitzits. With this knowledge, Father YAH has compelled me to purchase and wear this most special symbol, in honor of remembering His commandments and keeping them Holy.

The tzit, tzits being a male command only. women does not do the male commands. the four cornered garment a shirt, prayer shawl that covers the upper part of the body. The four cornered garment cant be mixed fabrics. The four cornered garment is cotton or wool, but not both at the same time. The tzits tzits is attached to the ends of the four corners. The dye source is marine, (the dye source is not kosher for eating, just wearing). so a tzit, tzit is placed on each corner. which would wind up with four tzit, tzits all together.

@@119Ministries It actually doesn't because there is several errors, instead of fixing them its (blaming Rabbi's, or any man of wrong doing by correcting it). The torahs instructions is clear, even though english translations of hebrew, and greek is changed for theological reasons). There is three facts that is removed because people disagrees with it. 1: its a male only command the hebrew word ben only means son(s). which is gender specific. 2: only a four cornered garment, (the name of the shirt), item that covers the upper torso. which is only allowed to be of one material either cotton, wool, but never both. 3: the dye source is marine, is not kosher for eating. the dye source is still okay for wearing as God explianed the issue. these three things is omitted as factually correct.

I agree that women should wear tzit tzits.
But I do not think that those strings hanging from the four corners of the garments should be called tzit tzit if they are blue mixed with white.
We are not to add to the Scriptures. White is like leven, a tradition of men.
The Bible tells us what color to use. Blue. Blue. Not blue and white.
I was not able to buy any.tzit tzits anywhere that didn’t have white strings. So I make my own. With blue only.

Your conclusions are lacking a little bit of scripture substance for example women are to wear a vail over their head all the time as opposed to men and this is based on Deutoronomy 22:5 which says that men and women shall not dress alike. Context is very important when applying the scriptures obviously the context of food is presented for men and women, boys and girls yet in the context of the zitzit the man was brought to Mosheh and Aharon and were ordered to stone the man. Does that mean that women and children also stoned the man? obviously not
So the context is very important and one must be aware of it. I see that we have not lost all the christian’s habits of reading one passage and making a conclusion or a doctrine contrary to the context of the scripture like the famous phrase “kill and eat”

Now, let's laser focus on Eternal Love: For God so LOVED the world that He gave His only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish but have everlasting life. There.....now we have two witnesses in one scripture that bonds together Eternal Love delivered in the form of God giving His Son. First, we were found guilty and lacking remedy (of the law) God responds in love with THE PLAN... His own Son. Next, the deceiver shows up and tricks people to go back to step one. Instead we should be having a Grace party based on the completed WORKS of Jesus Christ! The Law has it's proper place in our lives....forever. But that position of prominence is what we now debate. Even in genesis Abraham explains what ben means. claiming that someone altered it without proof causes a slander issue. need to think this through further.

Hello John, I pray it's okay for me reply on a post you've made 2 years later and I don't know if you will read it, but I would like to share with you something I've noticed in my research on tzitzits. Ben or Ben's (strongs 1121) is often used for sons but I have noticed that the word Ben has been used also for many instances where it is clearly understood that the commandment is meant for everyone. For example : in many instances in the Torah, God spoke to Moses saying repeatedly "speak to the children of Israel (Ben) " in many of those instances YHWH gave instructions on the 10 commandments, on the feast days, on the first fruit offerings and sacrifices. And I believe we can agree that those commandments are for everyone and not just for men. Now I may be wrong on this, but on my short research I have come across someone saying that Hebrew doesn't have a genderless form to address everyone, it's like the world huMan huMANity in English and in many other languages. Once again I don't know if you will ever read this or if your view changed but perhaps someone reading this might find this reply helpful. If there's someone reading this and confused on what to do, I don't have the answer but our living God does and I can only recommend to pray to Him for guidance and seeking the truth in His word. Have a blessed day. :)

@@katherinag. Well the issue is that commands in torah that address being male, ben just means Son. So women would not do a male only command. The issue is that verses which states sons of isreal the Elders is given the instruction which is dispersed to the people. If the issue of tzit, tzits is directed at both genders, then so would circumcision, the male priesthood, high priest, kingship etc. (The issue is the context of what is stated. example Sons of israel move out the people. the elders is being told to move out the people. The elders in the male gender but people is not. This is the hebrew word for people. H-5972, (Am) people. So when God is explaing Benai Yisrael "Sons of israel " its talking to the elders, and not the people. with tzit, tzits only the male gender is included.

@Ezer Kenegdo I thought the Bible commands us to rightly divide the word of truth? I thought the apostle Paul is the apostle for the gentiles? I thought Paul's doctrine was the doctrine we are to follow, thus rightly dividing the word. I thought rightly dividing will eliminate confusion, as God is not the author of confusion. I'm sorry, but things outlined in the Jewish covenant between Jews and God were for them, and now, during the Age of Grace under Paul's ministry, we are to rest in what Christ did on the cross and in his shed blood. Salvation is no longer available through works, but through faith in the blood atonement. Romans 3:25. Works can and should be done after we are sealed with the Holy Spirit, but only because we begin to have desires to please God for what he has done for us.

@@cle5823 read again Paul is bringing in Gentiles to learn about Christ, using the Sabbath in the synagogue. Act 13:42 and when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the GENTILES besought that these words might be preached to them next SABBATH DAY....
If you want to deny the fourth Commandment written on Stone and then in your heart=" New Covenant"
That's fine most Sunday worship do. If you want to read them keeping the Sabbath in the new heaven.... Isaiah 66:22 for as a new heavens and a new Earth which I will make, shall remain before me said the Lord, so shall your seed and your name Remain. 23 and it shall come to pass from one new moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, shall All Flesh come worship before me, saith the Lord.
So if you want to say the traditional book was closed" the Bible" Sunday worship began because of they understood who Christ is, then they will start again in the new heaven because it's prophesied in the book of Isaiah from one Sabbath to another, that's up to you also. Christ is my Messiah , he is my Lord and King of Kings, but it doesn't change what the Bible says. Peace be with you.

Respectfully, because i love your devotion, but are you a gentile? That commandment says to "the Children of Israel." The law wasnt nullified but fulfilled in Christ. Paul was a Pharisee, circumcised, a Jew of Jews. But he called it all "trash/dung compared to knowing Christ."
