Ok I think I've got it. The 5 foolish virgins allowed the holy spirit to be quenched, their lamps went out, so they lost their desire to follow God's law.

What is "iniquity"?= sin
And what is sin?= 1 John 3:4 "Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law, for sin is the transgression of the law"
This is why HE says HE does not know you, and you don't know HIM if you don't keep HIS Commandments..

I like your comment. Those who know Him have crucified the flesh and overcome sin. Most of churches in the book of Revelation are rebuked and told to repent for something they were doing. I'm so disappointed when i hear people say "Im saved by Grace" and then keep sinning. Using excuses to feel their flesh. Its all a part of The watered down false GOSPEL preached that is keeping people in sin. Do not be DECEIVED. Jesus even quoted commandments to the rich young ruler about inheriting eternal life. Why would Jesus tell us not to sin and overcome sin and be holy if we can't do it? Strive to enter into the narrow gate. REPENT if you sin and keep OVERCOMING until your flesh is crucified. Cut off your hand or pluck out your eye to avoid hell. I think He made it very clear. He did his part by shedding His blood now we do our part with help from Holy Spirit baptism.

I'd like to add that 10 virgins are more than 10 tribes of Israel.
Isaiah 49:6 talks about the salvation of Judah, Israel, and Gentiles:
“And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.”
Also, in Acts 9:15-16, Jesus said to Ananias, “Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: for I will shew him how: for great things he must suffer for my name’s sake.”
Since both YHWH and Jesus Christ specified the people of Judah, scattered Israel, and Gentiles separately, whether we have the blood of Israel or not, we all have the chance for salvation.
Therefore, 10 virgins are just believers as a whole, whether they are descendants of Jacob or not.
Also, Isaiah 56:6-7.
Hi Sarah, yes I agree , I also don’t think the desire to obey is the right fit for the oil. I’m still searching that one out.
I hope you’ll not be put off 119 ministries as they agree (I’ve watched a lot of their teachings so I hope they don’t mind me speaking on their behalf) with you that the gentiles and all of the house of Israel, and all of Judah have a chance for salvation through faith and being grafted into the olive tree that is spiritual Israel (before the split of the two houses). I hope I have said that correctly! God bless you :) if you have any ideas on the meaning of the oil I’d love to hear them!
@@Redeemed12 I respect 119 Ministries, and I like them a lot. Their teachings are based on the Scriptures of the time of Jesus Christ, not on a seminary theology. They also have an attitude of truthful seekers in God's Word, instead of trying to make the Word fit into a theology. I wish they had physical churches I can go and worship God. May God bless them with good understanding and good teaching!

Other than that, just receiving the Spirit of God produces desire in itself, more like a byproduct. God bless you on your journey!!!
On an even more basic level you could say that the oil represents the Holy Spirit, for those that are saved are filled with the Holy Spirit. Those that are not filled with the Holy Spirit love in the darkness (sin) and the light of God does not dwell in them. This way we see that when Christ returns only those that are saved will be allowed to enter into His Kingdom, the foolish ones that have no light (never saved) will not be allowed to enter.
Remember the prophets were annoited with oil, then Yah give His spirit to them so that they can speak His words to people.
ye have to consider it from a mortal-realm point of view; what is the only thing that you can buy here that is spiritual? Read Psalm 119:105. Lamp=>bible; Vessel=>your bod. There are two things that come from both, spirit and the Words of the scripture, which ye put in your heart, mind soul. GTGTG

@@cordellross307 oh but read proverbs you can buy wisdom. Wisdom is a person. Wisdom is Yeshua. So you can believe in Yeshua that He is the word of God incarnate. Therefore you can buy the oil for your vessel.

This is my take, The oil is the Holy Spirit and the Lamp are the Commandments....the Light is Jesus Christ! But, before Christ, the Light was the Laws, Christ came and fulfilled all Prophets giving us a New Covenant promised by our Father, THANK GOD!!!
@Daisy Fields You are correct...Remember the Parable of the Rich Man. Luke 16:19-31 and The woman that committed adultery John 8:4-11 kjv....Under the old schoolmaster "Moses" they would have been stoned. What Christ did was give us a new covenant, Grace! Forgiveness of Sin. The Laws are FOREVER!

@Daisy Fields Wouldn't the instruction or teaching under Christ, the new covenant be 'Love' since that fulfills the whole law of Christ? Of course this love would be the pure love that comes from the holy spirit and its fruit which it produces. Wouldn't it just be to walk in the spirit so we do not fulfill the desires of the flesh instead of obeying the written law of old? Isn't this Christ commandments to love God with all your heart and to love your neighbor as yourself? That is his commandments right??

The best way you could have introduced the video is by defining the Jewish wedding with all it's practices and how it differs with our modern westernized wedding ceremonies. Then you follow up with the main characters i.e the Bridegroom, Bride, the Virgins and the guests. The rest of the items in the symbolism such as lamp and light would follow naturally.
Oil = Holy Spirit. Those without virgin without oil are people without Holy Spirit (meaning they are never born again). Since all 10 virgins are waiting for Jesus, so let's assume they are all Christians. However, not everyone who profess that he/she is a christian is really a christian. For example, anyone can fill up a form and put in Christian under Religion. Only those who are born again will have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. When God come for the church, some self-profess christians will be left behind not because they are not holy or obedient enough but rather because they are never born again or saved in the first place. Look at the verse in the parable that says "But he answered, 'Truly, I say to you, I DO NOT know you.' It is not referring to true Christians because God said I DO NOT know you. If you are a true born again christian, God knows you.
Not one man on this planet is born again...
Note in verse 7 that all ten virgins had oil in their lamps since all of them turned them on. The foolish ones on V8 were running out of oil, they simply didn't have enough as they didn't carry extra oil for the lamps.

In Matthew 25:3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them.
It is written "took NO oil with them". It means they brought the lamp but did not bring any oil.
The foolish virgin brought the lamp, trimmed their lamp and lighted their lamp. But their fire gone out(Matthew 25:8) because there is no oil in the lamp to sustain the fire.

Who are the people that have the lamp (word of God) but does not have oil (Holy Spirit)?
Answer: Jews or Israel. Jesus offers a new baptism that is baptism with the Holy Spirit. However, the Jews rejected Jesus and killed him. (Acts 1:5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.)
This parable is spoken to the Jews. However, it can be applied to Gentiles as well. There are Gentiles who go church, follow all the traditions and rituals, "donate" to the church, do a lot of good works and depended on their OWN SELF-RIGHTEOUSNESS to buy a ticket into heaven. These are self-profess Christians who were never born again and without the Holy Spirit (Oil).

Oil is always used symbolic of the Holy Spirit. Hence, only those who have the Holy Spirit will produce the fruit of the Spirit.
This statement of the oil being the Ruach is not true...the Ruach HaKodesh/ Holy Spirit is free to All who surrender their life to Yahushua HaMashiah...you can't buy the Ruach HaKodesh...Shalom Aleichem! and Blessings!

Wonderful teaching! You mentioned at the end that the ten virgins represent the ten lost tribes of Israel. Here is a prophecy that we believe directly applies to this parable....explaining that those that were not ready....will understand at some later point. Caps for emphasis only.
Song of Solomon 8:8-10

Notice v. 7 speaking of the flood of Revelation tribulation. The 'mother' of this chapter is spoken of in Proverbs.

The five wise virgins....that understand all this are spoken of in v. 13:

Notice in Song of Solomon 1:9 that she is compared TO A MARE....OR HORSE in Pharoah's chariots (a team, chariot, chariotry, millstone, riders)
The horse was THROWN INTO THE SEA in the Exodus. I have had dreams about this. Those that understand the Word of YHWH and 'desire' to obey now....have a job to do in the time to come....during the tribulation. We are to 'beat off' the spiritual enemy and teach the Truth of Yah's Word. There will be THREE ATTEMPTS (or 3 great movements) by Abraham's offspring....the people of the Covenant. Just as Jacob's FAMILY was DIVIDED INTO THREE GROUPS....to appear BEFORE ESAU.....on our journey to the promised land.
So, too...., will the House of Jacob, all 12 tribes and those grafted in....scramble to 'get it right' in Truth before YHWH....and as Yahshua went into the wilderness....and the enemy knew he couldn't prevail....WHEN IT WAS STATED AND PROVEN....THAT YAHSHUA WOULD NOT DISOBEY....ONE SINGLE JOT OR TITTLE of our Father's Word.
HaSatan will inspire people to HATE THOSE TEACHING OBEDIENCE....and we will be killed. The story of Yahshua's life, will be PLAYED OUT IN 'HIS' BODY.....in the latter days.

Actually whom these virgins or "Bridesmaids" representing? Because Jesus is the Groom, the Bride are the believers/church? I'm still wondering whether the 10 are from the 10 lost tribes if Israel, half of the 10th believed Jesus as the Messiah but another half still disbelieved. Since the bridesmaids already have the lamp meaning they are the believer of God, but half rejected the Messiah, bearing no fruits, produced no oil. Another accepted Jesus as the Messiah, bearing the fruit of the Holy Spirit that produced oil for their lamp.
Again the question who are these bridesmaid representing and why 10 in numbers?
10 is the Hebrew number of council. This parable can be interpreted two ways. Which 119 fails to be either. 1) the five foolish virgins are unbelieving Israel or this is a second rapture of the Jewish people midway through the tribulation. Why do I say this. Take the Jewish wedding. Virgins are always the wedding party never the bride. The bride has a contract. When the bride drinks the cup they are legally married. Yeshua would have to divorce the church. What we have here is which Jews will be the brides maids. Yeshua isn't going to divorce half His bride this is false teaching. The virgins who wait always are the brides maids. Study the Jewish wedding never the bride.
How can you interpret this parable with no knowledge of the Jewish wedding. You can't. 119 fails to take the Jewish wedding in mind. I believe there are only two interpretations that don't contradict the word of our Lord Jesus. To say Yeshua leaves behind fifty percent of His bride means you really need to meet Yeshua. Cause He does not contradict himself. Either way you interpret this parable it has to do with the Jews. The key is the kingdom of God is like. This is kingdom of God. Meaning there is two groups involved. The Church and Israel. Those are the two groups who will be in the Millineum. So either Yeshua is saying 1/2 of those who will be in the kingdom the Jews will not go in the rapture because they are not sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise (the oil). Or Yeshua is saying that during the tribulation the 144k will winsouls of the Jews to Christ (Jews), then he will come and rapture the believers before the wrath to be his brides maids. I don't care which one you believe as long as you see this has nothing to do with believers who are saved by the blood and through faith in Christ alone. Not of Torah keeping lest any man should boast. I believe in a better covenant. Not in a shadow. A thing that has passed away. Read Hebrews. Torahs only purpose was to point to the fact we need a savior. Now to the Christian it is pointless. Paul says we have been crucified with Christ. If that is the case then we are no longer under the law. Read Romans chapter 6, 7, 8. We have perfect liberty. All things are now lawfull. The only law we need to follow is the one written on our hearts by the Holy Spirit. We do not serve the letter of the law which is death. (Torah keeping) We serve the Spirit of God which is life. The just shall live by faith. What does faith have to do with Torah keeping? Look at chapter 11 of hebrews the hall of faith. I see murderers, prostitutes, vile sinners, adulterers ect made it to heaven cause they believed. Not because they kept the Torah. Why do you reject the substance of the gospel for a shadow or type of the substance? The law never saved anyone only brought death. Yet you teach we must keep the instruments of death? When we are commanded in Hebrews not to? If we continue in Torah keeping we put Christ to shame openly crucifying Him again saying your plan of salvation isnt good enough we need the Torah. This ia referred to as willfully sinning and there no longer remains a sacrifice towards you. In that day you shall not say know the Lord, cause everyone will know Him by His Spirit. If you choose to keep one commandment you are found guilty for not keeping all 613 laws. Yeshua died so you could be free of that death task master. Yet you encourage others to return to death with you. When will you see the truth . yes Jesus said keep my commandments. What was His commandment? The Torah? No. To believe on him. Forsake Judaism, for a better covenant. Do not insult the Spirit of grace.
The Virgins represent the Jews from the Tribulation that are invited to the Marriage Supper.If you don't know that the Kingdom of Heaven and the Kingdom of God are not the same, you will not be able to understand and rightly divide.

I’m just replying because I think you may have misunderstood what 119 ministries teaches about the Torah. They don’t say that we have to keep the law for salvation. Not at all! They just say it is a guide to show us, like you said, what is sin.
Yes, we are free from the punishment of the law of sin and death (which is different to Torah as a whole). We are free from the consequences of our sin. Praise Yeshua for his grace!!
I believe it was Yeshua himself who gave the Ten Commandments on Sinai, face to face with Moses.
I’m sure you’ve read Deuteronomy and seen that the commands are good, helpful and life giving. And I’m sure you’re already keeping most of the instructions anyway because the Holy Spirit is guiding you.
I just wanna reassure you that 119 ministries and other Hebrew roots ministries are not teaching salvation via works. They just teach that the law shows us what sin is, and encourages people to avoid sin. They just have a different interpretation to you on which commands the gentile believers who are grafted into spiritual Israel should be keeping.
I’m sure they agree with you that we should only be keeping commandments out of love and gratitude for the gift of faith we have received, not to earn salvation. “If you love me, keep my commandments…” I hope this is a blessing to you. It’s ok for everyone to disagree, I’m not trying to convince you to change anything, just reassure you that 119 are not teaching works based salvation :)
What i found interesting is that their lamps were going out. How many will endure when it gets darker in this world because of sin? Who will endure to the end? Will they go back to the world to buy ? Take the mark of the beast or love the things in world rather than things in God's kingdom. A personal relationship with Jesus can't be given to you by a preacher or another believer. It is one on one with HIM. when you read scripture get filled with Holy Spirit then you will have intimacy with Jesus. He will know you and then you will be known by Him
Many at church know of him but are known by Him. A relationship takes time prayer waiting obeying and listening to Holy Spirit. Many are to busy distracted lazy or think hanging with other christians is enough. It won't be. When things get really dark only His light and Holy Spirit will help you endure until the end. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏😇
Do we obey the Lord Jesus because the law says to? And does that make us righteous? or, do we obey the Lord Jesus because we now have relationship with Him through the Holy Spirit given to us when we are truly born again and therefore we obey because we LOVE Him.
Remember, when the foolish virgins come to the door and ask to come in Jesus says, "Depart from Me I never KNEW you"
Jesus also says, if you LOVE Me you will obey Me. Love the Lord with all your heart, all your mind and all your strength. Its the greatest in the law.
Jesus did say, if you love me you will obey my commandments.
This is about the kingdom of heaven and the nation of Israel. He’s confused about that therefore he’s way off in his teachings. We are under Paul’s gospel for salvation not the gospel of the kingdom. Rightly divide the word of Truth.

Jesus fulfilled the need for blood sacrafice for sins. He also fulfilled prophecies. He DID NOT do away with any of the commandments. We have been instructed by Jesus that if we love him we will keep his commandments. John 14:15
None. Read Romans. Paul is talking about the whole law given at Sinai. Also the comparison with the bond woman and the free is all about the law and under grace. Once you are saved by faith you are no longer under the law. Law and Grace don’t mix. You are under one or the other.

Hi 119 ministries. How do you feel about salvation? I seen other videos on some laws. Do we still have to do laws or else be don't get into heaven? I seem to see you say that, but I read Paul say that the law was only for a time to show us we never could do them. So didnt Jesus free us from the law? Watching your videos almost seem confusing now after reading scriptures. I feel as if you want to claim what Jesus did, but also do everything the Jews were subject to in the law. Thanks

Would it be a fair assessment that the 10 Tribes fell asleep and were taken by Assyria? They were no longer keeping the Commands, partly because of poor leadership! The Next Tanakh (NT) describes Jews being the population, not Israel necessarily. Though HE came looking for them. And I figured the dispersion of the 10 was so God could Breed us in!

The 10 tribes were not lost. Some stayed and were assimilated, which is why so many gentiles find they have a tiny amount of Jewish DNA. But many returned and became part of Judah, which is why all people of Israeli descent are called Jews today.
Why is Matthew 13:23 added to Matthew 12:33. Something’s not right with this teaching.
It's interesting that it says "you know neither the day nor the hour" in Matt 25:13, and yet it also says in Matt 25:6, that "And at midnight a cry was heard: 'Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!" Curious to know if that is a hint for us.
when he says "you know neither the day nor the hour", he IN CONTEXT is addressing the 5 virgins who had no oil. It is the foolish who will not know the day nor the hour. Messiah returned, but the phrase "day and hour" I believe, is referring to his marriage, not his second coming. Both the wise and the foolish were aware he returned. But only the wise received an invited into the marriage feast. Since the wise were invited, only they received the time to be at the feast, the day and the hour. So it is the foolish who did not know the time of the feast (day or hour). Remember the Hebrew word for feast is "moedim", which means HOLY APPOINTMENT TIME. We were commanded to know all the appointment times, they never change, just like our God. Yahushuas marriage ceremony WILL BE DURING A MOEDIM, or a holy appointment time. These holy appointment times were commanded in Leviticus 23 for all Gods people to obey. Therefore they were commands of God. The commands of God represent the LAMP. All 10 virgins had the lamp, but only 5 of the virgins had the OIL (desire to obey/holy spirit/new heart) to obey the commands (lamp). According to John 14:15, Messiah speaks to the Father, to send us an advocate, the Holy Spirit, who will lead us to all truth. Truth = the Law according to Psalms 119:142. The Holy Spirit leads us to obedience with a new heart to Gods laws. If we are not learning to love and obey Gods laws, the Spirit is not in us and we will be left out of the Marriage feast. That is why Messiah said "if you love me OBEY MY COMMANDS". The date of the marriage feast was literally a command of his, yet 5 of the virgins didn't even have the date for a wedding they claimed to want a part in. sad.
Isn't the oil ALWAYS symbolic of the Holy Spirit? Thus, those who do not have the oil, did not have the Holy Spirit . Yes, they recognized Jesus as the Messiah, but he wasn't their Messiah, because they were those who said, "Lord, Lord, didn't we....?"
And he will say, "Truly I did not know you." Seems to make sense to me.

Yeshua had to confirm the Covenant with the Jewish people first. The House of Judah. According to the prophecy of Daniel 9: 25-27. The first part of the seventieth week was fulfilled at his death. Then the second half was fulfilled when the final rejection of his messiahship was completed by "his own people". The disciples said it (in Acts) was NECESSARY for the gospel to be preached to them (the Jews) first. Then when they rejected it, they went to the gentiles. The seventieth week was fulfilled.
Wouldn't the instruction or teaching under Christ, the new covenant be 'Love' since that fulfills the whole law of Christ? Of course this love would be the pure love that comes from the holy spirit and its fruit which it produces. Wouldn't it just be to walk in the spirit so we do not fulfill the desires of the flesh instead of obeying the written law of old? Isn't this Christ commandments to love God with all your heart and to love your neighbor as yourself? That is his commandments right??
sounds a lot like you're saying that people have to follow the law to be saved. like maybe you're mixing faith and works. by faith are we saved and not of ourselves; it's the free gift of God. If the law fulfilled, Christ died in vain.

Why remove the parable from the context of the Second Coming? The text is clear. Matthew 25:13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
It is about the second coming. If you think this is just about watching for it, then you are a victim of the Roman church who white-washed the Scriptures and created their own interpretation and religion called Christianity.
Well I would say that one thing that you should maybe consider is the fact that Christ coming as far as an individual can be at any time in his life because we don't know when we will die so when Christ says you know not when your lord, it does not necessarily have to be seen in the context of his physical coming upon the Earth and another thing to consider is there are two different words for coming of the Lord in the New testament

THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS NOT THE SAME AS THE KINGDOM OF GOD! The parables in Matthew that are about the Kingdom of Heaven do not have anything to do with the Holy Spirit or salvation, but they are all about Jews, the Tribulation, and the Millinnium. Rightly divide by understanding the differences between the Kingdoms as there are 8 of them in the Bible.

Matthew, being an Old Testament Book, is talking to Jews about the end of the Tribulation when Jews that survived and endured till the end will be invited to the Marriage Supper, and then get to enter the Millennium.

@@119Ministries Why do you ignore Hebrews. A thirteen chapter gospel with one theme. We are saved by faith alone. With a new high priest comes a new law. How can you ignore Romans 6, 7 and 8. If you are Christ's, then you have died with him. If you have died you are no longer under the Torah. Notice the first statement "do his commandments", this is works! Yes, there are works instructed for salvation for those who are on earth during the Tribulation.
Let's be clear here, these are NOT Christians (those in Christ, the Body of Christ) for they were raptured up before the Tribulation began. Also here we need to remember Christians are promised eternal life and given a glorious celestial body. Christians have no need of the tree of life.
Those who do eat of the tree of life are those still on earth who endured to the end, who did not take the mark. They are given a glorious terrestrial body for life on earth during the coming 1,000 yr reign of Christ.
They are just like Adam before the fall living in peace and eating from the tree of life.

Bride is the Church;
Ten Virgins are the Jews;
Some Jews can enter the Millennium;
Some Jews cannot enter the Millennium.
The parable of ten virgins is about the judgment for the Jews.
The parable of the servants is about the judgment for the Church.
The parable of the sheep and the goats is about the judgment for the Gentile Nations.
Matthew 25 is about the prophecy of destiny for the three groups of people in the world with regard to the Millennium:
(1) The chosen people (Jews)
(2) The Church
(3) The Gentiles.

Psalm 119:105, mentions lamp; Matt 25 mentions vessel. The only thing that is undefined is the 'oil'. The 'oil' is more tangible, visible, and soluble to the mortal living 'vessel' to intake, imbibe digest meditate thereupon.

Your explanation of this Parable is more confusing than the Parable itself. This is what the Kingdom of HEAVEN is likened to. THe 5 foolish virgins were NOT prepared and the 5 Wise virgins were prepared. As Jesus says at the end the Door was SHUT... and he says, Watch therefore, for you know not the day or the hour. SO YOU MUST BE PREPARED BEFORE YOU DIE(they all slept)< YOU MUST KNOW JESUS!!
Knowing Jesus isn't the preparation. jesus said "EVEN THE DEMONS KNOW ME". Yet the demons will not be saved. Jesus preached to OBEY HIS COMMANDS. The parable of the 10 virgins is explaining what it is that needs to be obeyed in order to enter into the marriage feast. All 10 virgins KNEW JESUS, only 5 of the virgins OBEYED HIM.
You guys are a joke. You claim to use the whole word yet you reject the whole book of Hebrews. Which plainly states with a new high priest there is a new law. Then it hammers away for 13 chapters warning what will happen if you return to Torah. Paul calls the Torah the instruments of death. Keep the Torah you are willfully sinning and their remains no sacrifice for you.
Because of this you now have slaughtered this parable. The oil is the Holy Spirit not some Torah keeping desire. The five foolish virgins are the unbelieving Jews not any part of the believing church. Any other interpretation contradicts the words of Yeshua. The ones the father gives me I keep and I will not lose one. So your interpretation says Jesus loses 1/2 of those who the father gave him. The Bible does not contradict itself, your interpretation makes Yeshua a liar. Hope people see through this. Salvation is by faith alone. Any other gospel Paul says let them be accursed.
The key to this parable is the oil. The oil is the Holy Spirit. The lamp is the word of God. Which is the light of the world. The word of God has in it the Spirit of God this is why their lamps have oil. However, there vessels meaning their bodies or temples had no Holy Spirit. Why cause you have to believe on Jesus to be filled with the Holy Spirit. While the Jews are elect meaning virgins they know the word of God so they have lamps. They enter not with Jesus. So they are told " I don't know you" cause they loved the word of God but did not love the word of God in its physical form which is Yeshua.

Like it or not. Salvation is by faith alone in both the old testament and the new testament. For it is written the Just shall live by faith. Again, if you do not keep the entire law all the days of your life you are guilty for breaking all the law. For all have sinned (both testaments) and fallen short of the glory of God. This means no one was justified by the law. Therefore only faith is pleasing to the Lord. Whatsoever is not of faith is sin.
The problem is this. You take this parable out of context. The book of Matthew is to the elect. The Jews. This parable has nothing to do with the church. To read that in here means you have no understanding of the parable. This message wasn't to us. We can learn from it but to say its about us is ignoring its context. Context, context, context!
