Nevermind! :) I just watched your first video! :) Great looking Off Road . Mine is in silver. Love it. Thanks for the channel and your time on taking the videos.
@@project4runner420 I like the stock look quite a bit. I am going for the same size KO2s you have on your 4Runner. I am thinking about a lift but only 1.5 to 2 inches probably. something to level it out just a little.
Muppet Drummer If you don’t already know the 2019 TRD pro has new internal bypass shocks by fox. Which will lift the front end one inch. Also should be very reliable and bolts right on. I was at my dealership last weekend and they had the upgrade in their computer for the new fox shocks.I just had them look up 2019 TRD pro shocks kit it was $2800.Which they said they would install for me for $3000+ tax I’m pretty much set on that being my choice given all of the advantages of internal bypass they are supposedly like having four shocks in one... food for thought. Just google fox 2.5 internal bypass TRD Pro 4runner check em out i’m pretty stoked on them! It’s actually a pretty good value for internal bypass front and rear
Muppet Drummer that sounds awesome I was torn between getting KDSS and getting the one I got without It. I mainly want to get the chassis all in order with good reliable shocks because I am stacking up some money to get the Magnuson supercharger kit installed by my local dealer. I can order it through them and they take care of all the paperwork with warranties and everything and they have installed at least four or five of them one of which was a 4Runner, The rest were on Tundras. They told me that the supercharger kit takes two seconds of your 0 to 60 time with 33 inch tires so I’m thinking it may be even quicker with the stock size. Can’t wait! Cheers
@@project4runner420 There are not that many videos out there on supercharged 4Runners....I look forward for your video after it is installed . . That is pretty awesome!
Great videos, thank you for sharing them. I bought a 2020 4Runner last year, love it. I am ordering the Greenlane roof racks because of your video. Question about your KO2, are they the 112/109 load rated tires or the higher 121/118 load rated KO2?
Love your car, i have the same exact one except 2020 MY. Will be installing some KO2s myself (I’m a Subaru dealer tech). Also.. love the InfoWars stencil 🤘🏽
Looks awesome! Is the recommended tire pressure on the KO2s the same as the stock tires, which I believe is 32psi? Thinking of getting the tires for my 2014 4Runner. Thanks for the video!
Might you or anyone know ... Can I air down KO2 265's on my 4Runner? And, if so, is there a set psi that we should use for airing down when we do our tame off-road trails? I am unsure if KO2 265's qualify for airing down. Many Thanks!
Hi. I’m pretty sure you can air down any off-road tires. If you have stock size like mine you probably don’t want to go below 20 psi. If you have a larger sidewall you can go lower. If you’re not running bead lock wheels be careful to not go too low though. I’m not an expert though. Good luck out there!
I have the KO2's mounted on the TRD Pro wheels on my TRD off-road. I'm debating ordering some spacers to widen the track width... have you done this yet? Not sure if I will have rubbing issues at stock ride height
SBCanada I am also faced with the same dilemma because without modifying your lugs I think you have to go with an inch and a quarter minimum spacers. I also would like to leave the mudflaps and the plastic all intact. If you crank your wheels to one side all the way and look at them it looks like the inside is where you have to worry about it rubbing mainly if that makes sense. When I did that it appears that I did not have one and a quarter inch to spare.
Not really, the car is still pretty new and it’s the dealership that the vehicle was purchased. Sorry about the delay. I have them do the road force balance on every rotation.
If you get the C rated tires the difference would probably not be noticeable. I only had the stock tires on for about a week or so so I don’t really know.

Thanks for watching! I hope the video helped you make your decision on tires and or size. Do you know what size you are going to go with? And brand?

Are you saying "road force balance"?
Yes. I’ve heard some refer to it as dynamic balancing. Most decent shops have the set up though

I went with a lower load rating just for ride comfort and less unsprung weight. Enjoy your new 4Runner!
Great video. So, compared to All Season tire, would you say they're as just as quiet as an All Season tire ?
I wouldn’t say they’re as quiet. They’re pretty quiet for how aggressive they are though

Have a look at the New Toyo Open Country A/T3. That’s what I’m betting will be on my 4RUNNER next😉
I run them a bit higher at 33. It has worked great. I have 10k miles on mine. Low tread wear and great mpg. Tread wear is at 13/32 after 10k miles.

Do you have any rubbing without a lift?
No
Hi I have the same spec 4runner and tires like yours. Do you notice any rubbing sound when you turn to the left a bit fast TIA
#TEAM SEULGI I haven’t had any rub on mine. But I also haven’t hit a big bump while turning all the way either.

ko is wider and taller. Just put ko2 31 10.50 15 now have lots extra room. Still on fence quieter
You won't be able to run 15 or 16 inch rims on a 5th gen 4Runner...why you ask...bigger brakes.🤪
Love your doggo!!
Did Toyota charge you extra for the road force balance?
Not really, the car is still pretty new and it’s the dealership that the vehicle was purchased. Sorry about the delay. I have them do the road force balance on every rotation.
I was quoted $10 per tire to do a "road force balance" at our Toyota dealership. I am going to do it based on Project 4Runners recommendation.
I just bought a 4Runner SR5 Premium. Are your K02s the stock size?
Yes
@@project4runner420 I was thinking about the Pirelli's Scorpion or K02s. I'm keeping the stock wheels.

@@pierre-richardromain6708 Yes Toyo is good. I believe they also make Nitto. Their new At3’s may be better than the Bf Goodrich k02’s.🤷♂️

Stock
Any change in MPG with the new tires?

did u lift it yet
Not Yet!!!

@@v4sTislow No rubbing I just have stock tire size as of yet.
Would love to see ridge grapplers on those wheels
Hi! Is it suspension lifted?
No, Stock Trd off-road suspension. Also stock size on tires.
Do you have any trouble with rubbing tire on the front side?
khang dinh Nope, I think you can even go 275’s without any issues. When you step up to 285’s is a different situation
Did you buy C or E load?
C after dealership making the mistake of installing E. Definitely a noticeable difference in rice quality C being the better.
Project 4Runner I’m sure the two ply sidewall in the C rated KO2 helps with that as well.
No good in the rain
